"But the region is teeming with deadly soul beasts, and the Three Heavenly Kings of the Extre North are among the most powerful of them. If you encounter them, even with your Necromantic Demiplane as a backup, you'll still be in trouble. After all, activating the Necromantic Demiplane takes ti, so you absolutely cannot go alone."
Huo Yuhao thought to himself that with Snow Empress and Ice Empress as his spirit souls, the Extre North was essentially his ho. There was no danger for him there at all.

The delay was due to two main reasons. First, the Extre North's harsh environnt and the presence of many ferocious soul beasts made exploration extrely dangerous. Second, the region was within the Heavenly Soul Empire's borders.
If the Sun Moon Empire sent large scale expeditions there, it would inevitably raise suspicions and provoke the Heavenly Soul Empire. Though war had not yet broken out, such a move could force the Heavenly Soul Royal Family into preemptive action.
Additionally, while the Heavenly Soul Empire was weaker than the Sun Moon Empire in terms of national power, history had shown that it was ho to many hidden sects. Though none of them were as powerful as the Clear Sky Sect, together they still posed a considerable threat.
"Valuable mineral resources…" Jing Hongchen pondered for a mont before saying, "Yuhao, I'll imdiately summon the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion. I'll accompany them to the Extre North with you."
The Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion was a Beast King class unit closely tied to both Mingde Hall and the Worship Hall. Additionally, through the Spirit Pagoda's spirit soul system, Juzi had further strengthened its connection to them.
This was why Huo Yuhao had brought them along during the operation to assassinate the Duchess.

"Jing Hongchen, what do you need to discuss with ? Don't tell Mingde Hall is finally upgrading our soul tools?" Luan Feng's voice rang out from above.
The next mont, she descended from the sky and quickly landed in front of Jing Hongchen.
Jing Hongchen's face showed a hint of awkwardness. "Upgrading soul tools is a costly endeavor. If you want new equipnt for the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion, you should apply through the royal family. If they approve, I'll arrange for it imdiately, as per protocol."
Even with the Sun Moon Empire's vast resources, it could only afford to maintain a limited number of Beast King class legions.
After all, these units were extraordinarily expensive to equip and had extrely high entry requirents. Assembling just one was no easy feat.
Luan Feng looked at him skeptically. "Then what exactly do you want to discuss?"
