Just as Xiao Hongchen was about to sit down, ng Hongchen grabbed his collar and pulled him back.

Xiao Hongchen turned his head to look at his sister, feeling a bit frustrated. He was about to say a few words to scold her, but when he saw the cold expression on her face, he imdiately understood her intent and silently stepped aside.

As siblings, Xiao Hongchen and ng Hongchen generally got along well. Of course, they argued from ti to ti, but that was normal. Overall, their relationship was quite harmonious.

However, when it ca to certain situations, as an older brother, Xiao Hongchen knew to give way to ng Hongchen otherwise, their grandfather, Jing Hongchen, would surely reprimand him for being immature once they got ho.

Seeing that Xiao Hongchen had backed off, ng Hongchen patted his shoulder, giving him a smug look as if to say, "At least you know your place." Then, she took the seat to Huo Yuhao's right.

As for Xiao Hongchen, he simply walked out of the theater, choosing not to disturb ng Hongchen.

Truth be told, he wasn't really interested in the play anyway. What he really wanted was to talk with Huo Yuhao to understand how he had beco so strong.

Xiao Hongchen knew he could never match Huo Yuhao, but if he could at least close the gap, he could hold onto his title as the second strongest genius of the Sun Moon Empire.

Unfortunately, ng Hongchen had completely ruined that plan.

Sighing, he decided to leave the theater altogether. At least that way, he wouldn't have to watch ng Hongchen monopolizing Huo Yuhao's ti.

Soon, several other mbers of the Sun Moon team also walked out.

Xiao Hongchen took a quick glance around and noticed that Huo Yuhao, ng Hongchen, and Dai Yue'er were the only ones still inside.

Inside the Theater

On stage, the curtains slowly pulled back, aided by a specially designed soul tool. A beam of white light shone down, illuminating the opening scene.

A young woman with rabbit ears, a delicate face, and a scorpion braid was cradling a corpse with a gaping hole in its chest.

Tears stread down her face as she let out a heart wrenching scream:

"Brother! You can't leave ! You can't die! You promised to marry how can you go back on your word?!"

Her voice was so agonizingly sorrowful that it stunned Huo Yuhao for a mont.

He blinked in confusion, then turned to ng Hongchen beside him and asked with a hint of exasperation:

"ng Xuejie, why are we watching another play about Tang San? Doesn't the Sun Moon Empire have any other theater productions? Is the entire drama industry just about Tang San?"

This scene was all too familiar to him.

According to the original story, Bibi Dong ripped out Tang San's heart, essentially turning him into a 'broad minded god' and, of course, killing him.

Of course, Tang San eventually ca back to life, thanks to Oscar, Ning Rongrong, the God of Food, and the Nine Colored Goddess.

ng Hongchen gave a helpless shrug.

"Of course, there are other plays," she replied. "But this is Mingdu, the imperial capital of the Sun Moon Empire. The competition for theater venues here is extrely fierce."

"Since Shrek Academy has been the so called 'number one soul master academy' for so many years, it naturally attracts a lot of attention."

"On top of that, Shrek Academy has spent centuries relentlessly glorifying itself and the original Shrek Seven Devils. So for a lot of people, especially those who grew up hearing these stories, the Shrek Seven Devils are seen as childhood heroes."

"That's why plays about them are always profitable."

"This particular play is called The Return of the Sea God," she continued. "It was written by a Titled Douluo from Shrek Academy, who claims that the Sea God, Tang San, appeared to him in a dream and inspired him to create it."

"Because of all the die hard Tang San fans out there, these plays bring in a lot of revenue for theaters."

"And when it cos to plays about Shrek Academy, the portrayal of the Shrek Seven Devils is always perfect especially Tang San."

"Like I told you before, Tang San's character is always depicted as flawless."

She smirked and added:

"In every single play, Tang San never initiates conflict. He only fights to uphold justice."

"He's always compassionate and selfless, willing to sacrifice his own interests to help others."

"Honestly, I don't think soone like that could exist in the real world. It makes these plays feel completely fake."

Huo Yuhao secretly agreed.

The level of exaggeration in these plays was absurd.

It was clear that they were nothing more than blatant propaganda for Tang San.

There was no way Tang San was actually that noble.

For a mont, Huo Yuhao's mind wandered.

These plays needed to stop glorifying Tang San.

The more people revered Tang San, the more faith power he would accumulate.

And that was bad news for Huo Yuhao.

After all, Tang San was his greatest enemy.

He needed to find a way to weaken Tang San's influence.

anwhile, on Huo Yuhao's left, Dai Yue'er was watching the play with fascination.

Having lived in the Great Star Dou Forest for so many years, she had never seen a stage play before.

To her, this was sothing completely new and intriguing.

Back on Stage

At this mont, the actress playing "Xiao Wu" was furiously denouncing the Spirit Empire.

Facing her were the actresses portraying "Qian Renxue" and "Bibi Dong."

"The Spirit Hall was born evil!" Xiao Wu shouted. "Now you've renad yourselves the Spirit Empire and waged war across the entire continent, bringing destruction to other nations! This is the lowest form of villainy! I am ashad of you!"

"And Qian Renxue, Bibi Dong!" she continued. "You ganged up on my brother, attacking him two against one! You violated the divine code! If you had fought him fairly, you would never have won!"

The actress playing Bibi Dong smirked coldly.

"So what?" she sneered. "Tang San is dead now. In the end, we are the ones who have won."

At that mont, the actors portraying Oscar and Ning Rongrong stepped onto the stage.

They spoke in unison:

"You're too arrogant, Bibi Dong."

"Brother San foresaw all of this."

"Before his death, he guided us so that we could comprehend the power of Resurrection's Light! With this, we will bring him back!"

"Rise again, our Brother!"

Huo Yuhao blinked in surprise.

Wait a minute… sothing's not right.

In the original history, "Resurrection's Light" was a Martial Soul Fusion Skill used by Oscar and Ning Rongrong

And the God of Food and the Nine Colored Goddess also helped.

But Tang San himself had absolutely nothing to do with it!

And more importantly…

Why was Oscar calling Tang San "Brother" too?!

Oscar was ranked second in the group. By all logic, he should never call Tang San "Brother"!

And this was supposed to be "historically accurate"?

He turned to ng Hongchen and asked:

"ng Xuejie, was Oscar and Ning Rongrong's Resurrection's Light really sothing Tang San taught them?"

"Of course," ng Hongchen replied. "That's what the historical records say."

Good grief…

Tang San actually rewrote history just to glorify himself?
