Jace hesitated before knocking on the hotel door. They were apparently using the penthouse suite of the most luxurious hotel in the colony. There were many features but one of them he could already tell was privacy settings that blocked even his electrical vision. So he could not see what awaited him inside ahead of ti.
After a mont the door opened up and a strong hand yanked him inside. He saw who was on the other end of that hand so he did not resist as he was pulled inside and the door was closed behind him.
"Nila, why am I here?" Jace asked as she watched the completely nude accer saunter deeper into the hotel room. She was swaying her hips in a way to catch his eye. It was working.
"Co and see." She told him.
Jace walked further in and out of the hall of the hotel room. Freezing at the opening because of the sight before him. Six of them. That was how many won were in this hotel room. He understood and was well aware of Nila’s affections for him. But the others were not as expected.
Jace looked at them one by one. Starting with... "Nina. Why are you here?" For so reason he felt that out of all of them. He could understand why she was here the most.
She quickly made hand signals to communicate. She really did not like the idea of those translator devices still. Seems like she prefers using no voice if she can’t use her own voice. [I am here to sleep with you. After being around you for so long I realized that all other n are inadequate and undesirable. Not to ntion that the next two years should be a period of peace and would be a perfect ti to have a child.]
Jace’s facial expression switched several tis as he thought about her words. "Haa... you an. You want to feel the pleasure of flesh and have been thinking about the best person to show you and have decided on ?"
[Exactly.] Nina nodded in agreent.
Jace turned and looked at the next person in this weird line of won. "How about you Charlie? I thought you were dating that one guy?"
"Yeah..." Charlie looked to the side in annoyance. "He turned out to be... quite small."
"So you decided to sleep with because..." Jace frowned.
Charlie shrugged. "What? A girl has needs and I need to get laid." She answered. "As for the kid thing... I could care less. I have been working more in the ward and less in the field these days anyways." She really looked more bored than anything else.
When she ntioned her last ’companions’ size, she looked more annoyed than anything else. So it must have been a deal breaker for her. Not that he cared that much.
"Okay." Jace nodded and looked at the next person. "Then what about you Ulin? Why in the world do you want to sleep with ?"
"Bored. Wanted to see what all the hubbub was about." Ulin answered with a shrug. She did not seem shy or even care about her own nude appearance. "Drop your trousers. I want to see." She told him.
Jace frowned before shaking his head. "In a mont." That was about normal for her. He should have expected as much from her. But he was still surprised. He turned to look at the next person. "How about you? Why are you here Taylor?"
"Huh?" She looked genuinely confused for a mont before she seed to realize sothing. "Oh! I haven’t slept with you before! This is the first ti, is it? Okay, no it is fine." Taylor answered.
Jace frowned and contemplated before sighing and shrugging. "So that was clearly a ti lapse. Okay." He decided to just leave it alone and turned to the last person in the line. "Since Taylor is clearly here because she wants to. What are you doing here, High Priestess?"
"I brought her. She has been spending far too much ti at work and has no life outside of it." Nila answered.
"You are one to talk." The High Priestess refuted her words before looking at Jace. "My family is attempting to set up with appropriate people to have an offspring with. But I do not want to give anyone the power that would co with the political marriage to . So instead I want just a child without having to worry about the political fallout."
Jace frowned and then sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "I cannot believe this is the goodbye you set up for ."
"I figured getting laid would be high up on your list of priorities." Nila responded. "Especially with a bunch of different won."
She is right. Enjoy yourself a bit more. You know exactly how dangerous the mission you are about to go on is.
Fine. Jace answered ntally as he prepared himself physically.

Jace walked into the garage feeling more exhausted than ever. He sighed as stretched and made his way over to the couch where the trio were snoring loudly. Cain who was laying by the couch sat up and looked at him.
"Hey Cain, how were they yesterday and last night?" Jace asked quietly as he moved forward and turned off the television screen that was silently running.
"Good. Lady Vana was extrely good with them. It appears she is a natural. Although Director Fenrir did drop by for a bit to congratulate her and play with the little ones. In addition to requesting Lady Vana’s assistance in taking care of the young prince or rather Duke, as I believe he has been called now. Apparently he will start going to school here for a short ti but the term does not start until later this year." Cain explained quietly as he moved away from the couch.
"Hmm... sounds like Director Fenrir plans to take control of the Cerberus Unit in the event of my death. Too bad I already have sothing in place. What is the status of my ergency plan?" Jace asked as they approached the computer setup.
"We have already located a suitable planet and Miss White has already acquired the two retired colony ships and additional three ships that they would use along with the two dozen mining ships. I have already covertly sent word to both Solisa and Taylor to start making the modifications. Then in the event of the worst case scenario I have the ssages prepared to send." Cain inford him as Jace plugged in the information on the computer for several calculations.
"Good. It looks like after we get rid of this Mortella fleet the biggest threat will be the Nano Plague. In a year the Daemons will start appearing again and if my calculations about the Mortella are right it will be two years before the rest of their fleet appears." Jace began setting up a ti table. Just so anyone could understand what the table implied.
"What about the various other galactic nations? I did not have access to the information." Cain asked quietly as he started inputting so information of his own for the uninhabited solar system they had picked.
"Most of them are over twenty years distance away. The closest one is fifteen years distance away. By that ti we should have the capability to jump between galaxies. But I will still put all of them on the ti table." Jace told him as he inputted the information. If they were right, then after these initial invitations from the Mortella and Daemons they might be looking at invasions for the next fifty years.
"Dad..." Jace turned around to see a yawning Jordan tiredly rubbing her eyes. "You are leaving tomorrow, right?"
Jace handed off the rest of the work to Cain and then turned and picked up Jordan. "Yes I am. Are you worried?"
"Mhmm..." Jordan nodded slightly. "Yeah, even Miss Vana was worried. Sothing about you almost dying last ti."
"I did get hurt. But I am durable. But you do not have to worry. I always have a plan. Especially if the worst would ever co to pass." Jace assured her as he sat down on a chair at the table with her on his lap.
"You an... if you die. Please don’t, Cho will be sad if you do." Jordan told him.
"Cho will be sad? What about you?" Jace asked with a grin.
Jordan hesitated before frowning. "I will be sad too."
Jace chuckled. "I would not be worried too much. There is nothing that can kill or keep from you two. But I am worried that I might not be around for a while so I am preparing sothing so you and many other people will be protected."
"Hmm..." Jordan nodded. "Can I..." She seed hesitant for a mont before looking up at Jace. "Can I learn how to do stuff like you can? To protect people?"
"When you get older. Like what your sister is doing." Jace told her. "You can train and get ready and then you can go out into the world and fight like I do to your hearts content."
"No." Jordan shook her head. "I want to protect people. So does Cho."
"Then I suppose you will end up better than ." Jace smiled and ruffled up her hair.
