"That’s because I modified the Centurion with special armor and damping field devices."
"Then how did you control their spaceship?"
"A virus program, transmitted during communication with them."
"Moreover, their engine had been destroyed by you, but in a flash, it suddenly restored to its original state, repaired instantly."
"They were mistaken. I just had my Dusk Ship disable their engine with an electromagnetic pulse, no actual damage was done."
With a playful glint in his eyes, the boss asked aningfully, "Really?"

Chen Ming’s casual response made the boss lose his stern deanor, and his face relaxed back into its usual laid-back expression.
"Xiao Mu, do you think I’m a good person?"
Without much thought, Chen Ming replied, "I think so."
The boss had never taken advantage of him, and had even helped him in many ways, though Chen Ming harbored a slight wariness deep down.
Taking advantage of the mont, Chen Ming decided to ask directly, "But I want to know, back when I first arrived at the Space Station, I had nothing and knew nothing, yet you already showed kindness—why?"

"Ever since I first saw you, I knew befriending you wouldn’t be a mistake."
"Aren’t you afraid that I might be a villain?"
"I’m a Psychic."

This reason left Chen Ming speechless.
It was then that Chen Ming suddenly realized why Lao Wu and the factory director treated him so well; it must be due to the boss’s psychic abilities.
Chen Ming didn’t feel particularly concerned about it.
