Chen Ming was transported to a completely gray planet on the other side of the star, which he hadn’t noticed when the jump had just finished.
At first glance, it looked quite similar to the one he had been on before.
Chen Ming could basically judge the situation of the planet just from its appearance.
The planet in front of him was likely an ordinary one without any atmosphere.
As the fleet was captured by the planet’s gravity, it entered a ring orbit.
Under Brilliant’s guidance, Chen Ming and two spaceships independently landed on the planet.
During this process, it was exactly as Chen Ming had anticipated.
What he saw was a planet filled with dead silence.
Except for the surface, which seed to be more undulating, and the soil layer more coarse, overall it was almost identical to the previous planet, nothing special at all.
This should also be an ordinary resource planet belonging to Dusk.
The only change.
Was the building resembling a research institute that Chen Ming saw from the spaceship, standing alone on the desolate land.
And this building was enveloped by a tall transparent do.
Under the do, besides the buildings with a minimalist architectural style, there were also a large number of plants that shouldn’t be appearing on this planet growing around the buildings.
This do was maintaining the vitality of these plants.
Following Brilliant’s guidance, Chen Ming landed outside the do.
A number of docking spaces at least for Destroyer-class ships had been paved out.
The Iron Ore No. and Water Buffalo from Brilliant were unable to occupy much space here, let alone compared to the massive do.
Chen Ming donned his protective suit and disembarked from the spaceship, smoothly entering the interior of the do after passing through an isolation chamber at the entrance.
He saw the indication of an enhanced life-supporting environnt display on the gas quality detector on his wrist.
He also ca into contact with these real plants growing here.
Before this, after Chen Ming had ntioned to Brilliant the need for greenery, Brilliant indeed provided Chen Ming with so ornantal plants grown in cultivation pods.
The plants grown here were essentially the sa types Brilliant had provided before, but in greater quantity and in better growth conditions.
Dusk’s attention to these quirky details would often make Chen Ming sense Dusk’s emphasis inadvertently.
Yet, after his previous antics, the fact that Dusk was still doing so always made him feel sothing was amiss.
Chen Ming temporarily paused his observation of these plants and approached the door of the building inside the do.
The door automatically opened, revealing a wide corridor in front of Chen Ming.
Allowing Chen Ming to see the layout of the corridor, indeed presented a pure white minimalist environnt like a research institute.
It looked not luxurious but was easily acceptable.
At least it was much better than the factory transford from the original Dusk factory where Chen Ming had stayed before.
At the end of the corridor was the center of the research institute.
Chen Ming saw a place like a garden planted with so ornantal plants similar to those outside.
The ceiling here was a holographic screen, presumably capable of simulating various environnts.
Chen Ming didn’t linger his gaze on these places presumably considered as entertainnt facilities.
He lowered his head to check the research institute map just sent to him by Brilliant on a terminal.
From the entrance, his left was the area for experints and research.
The right was the area for living and working.
No one was in the entire research institute, not even Dusk, only so robots assisting daily work.
For Chen Ming, it was indeed an excellent living and working environnt, and the detailed arrangents were as he had requested.
Chen Ming first entered the living area under Brilliant’s guidance.
Apart from the room for rest and all supporting life facilities needed for daily living, it was also equipped with a canteen.
Behind the canteen, there was a cold storage.
However, Chen Ming did not see any place or tools nearby for cooking.
Brilliant presumably noticed Chen Ming’s query and said, "After this, please co to the canteen at fixed tis for your daily als. The robots here will help prepare your food."
"If you have any specific requests, you can directly ntion them via the equipnt in the corner of the canteen, and they’ll be ready for you in about three days."
Brilliant’s words clarified the situation of the canteen.
Yet, Chen Ming still felt a bit odd, after all, before Dusk only prepared a pile of food for Chen Ming in a warehouse, not to this extent now.
But that would still be fine.
Maybe Dusk was preparing to enforce healthy routines on Chen Ming, who wasn’t eating properly due to ssed-up schedules from reading books every day?
Considering the food stored on Chen Ming’s Iron Ore No. now, almost all were packaged survival foods as military ergency supplies he had specifically found connections through Old Wu to purchase.
That is, the kind Chen Ming had found on the Mining Space Station before.
Chen Ming left Dusk’s factory in a hurry and didn’t manage to take the food from the warehouse.
Coupled with the fresh food he had initially brought along being finished earlier, now only those ergency foods were left in his possession.
But eating ergency food for a long ti certainly wasn’t viable, otherwise, there would be no need to call them ergency foods.
Thus, Chen Ming now felt Dusk had done pretty well; at least he wouldn’t need to waste ti cooking anymore.
He also wasn’t worried about Dusk doing anything to the als, like poisoning them or anything.
After all, he was personally with Dusk now.
