"Whether we win or it’s a draw depends on whether my teammates have a way to deal with the chanical Race."

"Kidnapping doesn’t seem to have much point, and it just led them to find a more suitable thod."

Chen Ming disagreed with Cheng Xinghai’s statent and said, "The situation is always changing. Who can guarantee that if I hadn’t captured you, you would’ve thought of using this thod in the first place? Thankfully, this is just a simulation."

Cheng Xinghai had no intention of making excuses for her teammates and said, "Yeah, otherwise, they’d at least be charged with cris against humanity."

"It should be over soon. I didn’t expect it to be a lying-win ga, a bit boring, like watching you play for a month in a ga without getting to play myself."

Chen Ming looked at Cheng Xinghai oddly and asked, "You’re a military academy student, a soon-to-be graduate, soone who’s been to the battlefield and will go again, yet you still have ti to play gas?"

"Why is that your main focus right now?"

"Just curious. Is it sothing you can talk about?"

"How amazing it is that you even have ti to ask about this now."

Cheng Xinghai shook her head, but still answered Chen Ming’s question seriously, "As long as it’s not during combat, isn’t it normal to slack off and play gas?"

Chen Ming nodded and then asked, "I have one more question. If a teammate dies, do they exit directly, or can they still observe the perspectives of other surviving mbers?"

"The latter. If your teammate dies, they can watch through the perspective of the living ones, but only the teammates, not the enemy."

Cheng Xinghai pushed her wheelchair behind Chen Ming, patting his back and said, "Alright, alright, it should be over now."

"Just wait a mont."

Chen Ming waved his hand, indicating Cheng Xinghai not to interrupt him.

"I’m thinking now, how exactly they managed to accomplish this, what did we overlook to lead to this situation?"

Why didn’t the chanical Race co initially? Why are they here now? What’s the difference? Why didn’t we suspect the chanical Race from the beginning?

Cheng Xinghai tilted her head, looking up at the ceiling with a speechless expression.

She reached into her pocket to retrieve the terminal she had just tucked in, and opened the ga’s interface.

As soon as the ga started, she got kidnapped by Chen Ming, and the terminal was confiscated. She couldn’t see anything and naturally was unaware of her teammates’ plans.

However, Chen Ming didn’t rely on her, remaining seated with his head bowed in contemplation.

The first three questions Chen Ming couldn’t figure out right away, but he knew the answer to the last one.

They hadn’t suspected that the enemy might engage the chanical Race because the chanical Race didn’t dare to invade the Empire’s territory proactively.

So why didn’t the chanical Race dare to invade the Empire proactively?

A response had already ford in Chen Ming’s mind.

"That Main Ship..."

Cheng Xinghai heard Chen Ming murmuring and looked up from her ga terminal, saying, "What Main Ship?"

Chen Ming glanced at her and said, "The Main Ship inside the giant dock."

"The reason the chanical Race doesn’t invade the Empire lies in the deterrence of the Main Ship and the support from the surrounding Star Zones."

"If they want to invade, they’d have to use their own Main Ship. As long as our Main Ship can hold them off until reinforcent from nearby Star Zones arrives, they would be done for on the spot."

After figuring this out, Chen Ming finally understood why that disappearing Main Ship was here two days ago and then vanished completely.

If this Main Ship was damaged within the Empire’s borders or even exploded on site.

The chanical Race would absolutely not allow this incident, nor would they gamble on whether this was an Empire conspiracy.

So, it would be impossible to invade directly.

But if this Main Ship exploded in front of the chanical Race, and they learned from the wreckage that there was a rebellion happening in this Star Zone.

The consequences would be evident.

"The Governnt Army used that Main Ship, deliberately sending it to the chanical Race’s territory."

"They broke the initial deterrence, allowing the chanical Race an opportunity to invade, using a borrowed knife to kill people and eliminate the Rebel Army."

"As soon as the Rebel Army loses its leadership, the new rebellion can temporarily ally with the remnants of the Governnt Army against the external enemy due to the chanical Race’s invasion."

"This excuse is quite perfect."

"With enough cooperation, the new rebels and the old governnt can form a new governnt."

"Then, the newly ford governnt can request aid from outside, as the adjacent Star Zone and the Gallo Star Realm belong to the sa Battle Zone, they will assist."

"As for the now-dead old rebels, they’re dead, and no one will speak for the deceased."

"As long as the new governnt doesn’t oppress civilians like the old one, those previously benefiting from the old rebels will gradually forget them."

"In this way, future issues are mostly resolved, and the new rebels can use their resources and the old rebels’ legacy to trade space for ti, waiting for reinforcents to arrive."

"Once the chanical Race is cleared out, all that’s left is logistics issues."

"And the Star Systems destroyed by the chanical Race have no survivors, making stability remarkably stable."

Listening to Chen Ming’s explanation, Cheng Xinghai roughly understood what her teammates had done.

At the sa ti, she realized under such circumstances, what her teammates most needed to do next was to handle the stability of the colonies.

After all, these Star Zones were tortured in turn by the Governnt Army, Rebel Army, new rebels, and the chanical Race, so improving stability would be quite challenging.

She imdiately thought of a thod to address stability: "If it were , I’d directly insert my fleet into the rear of the chanical Race while reinforcents from frontline Star Zones confront them and raid everything they possess."

"It’s best if the chanical Race sends a defensive response."

"As long as they do, our support will have arrived, ensuring the chanical Race doesn’t get another chance to invade."

"We can rely on our logistics and the resources from colonies in star systems destroyed during conflict to rebuild the remaining, existing colonies."

"The efficiency of the chanical Race in killing is extrely high, and aside from ecological damage, they have little impact on the existing Planets."

"Resources can almost be completely transferred, which is beneficial for post-war reconstruction."

Cheng Xinghai continued describing another possibility: "If the chanical Race doesn’t respond defensively, then simply use the fleet to plunder their resources."

"Once reinforcents from other Star Zones eliminate them, using plundered resources can stabilize local populations as the territory of the chanical Race is relatively affluent."

"This is the way my teammates turn the tables."

"The only problem is whether their speed of developnt can keep up, and whether they can temporarily block the chanical Race until reinforcents arrive."

"This is probably the most fundantal test."

Cheng Xinghai recalled the logistics people among her called-in friends, thinking it seed sowhat unlikely.

However, Chen Ming’s words surprised her: "The new rebels developed extrely quickly, and according to earlier estimates, their military power now should suffice to slightly hold off the chanical Race with preparation."

"Additionally, since we’re being used as a scapegoat, the Governnt Army has an easier task."

Although Cheng Xinghai found it strange, she didn’t comnt.

Perhaps her teammates had a sudden bout of brilliance since she was captured at the start.

Cheng Xinghai looked toward Chen Ming and asked, "Now that you know all this, is it really useful to you? Do you have another way to turn the tables?"

Chen Ming turned in his chair, leaned against the workbench, and looked at Cheng Xinghai, saying, "The Rebel Army’s headquarters may be destroyed, but they aren’t utterly wiped out. The ga isn’t over yet."

He reached onto the workbench behind him and tapped a few tis, projecting a three-dinsional image onto the workbench, though he blocked the projection from view.

Cheng Xinghai couldn’t see the details of the projected object, instinctively tilting her head.

Curious yet thinking of peeking past Chen Ming to see what he was projecting.

Chen Ming slightly moved aside to allow her a clearer view.

Upon seeing the three-dinsional image and her eyes slightly widening as she seed to realize a possibility, he said to her, "Several weeks ago when I was just reaching Song Pu’s side, I went to a few local labs, and you were right by then."

"I didn’t let you know what kind of labs they were, and when you asked about what I was exchanging in the lab, I didn’t say."

"That was an Alpha Core."
