Upon hearing the alert ssage from the dock.
The slight drowsiness in Chen Ming’s mind instantly vanished.
Moreover, he noticed that the gate leading to the outside of the Space Station from the dock was directly sealed.
This was obviously not right.
The external seal on the dock was lifted yesterday, and so foreign ships had already docked there.

If they were to attack the Space Station, the priority would be the dock, which explained Chen Ming’s feeling.
If Dusk were to attack the Space Station, it would certainly prioritize attacking the middle sections of the dock or the parts connected to the Space Station; it wouldn’t intentionally hit such peripheral spots. This was definitely the safest area in the dock now.
Feeling a slight relief from the fear, Chen Ming picked up his terminal to contact the factory manager or Old Wu.
Just before Chen Ming selected a contact, that sense of fear suddenly intensified again.
His heartbeat almost skipped a beat, his hand trembled involuntarily, and he dropped the terminal on the ground.
Ignoring the terminal, Chen Ming imdiately activated the ship’s mining laser.
He wasn’t concerned about the consequences and began cutting the outer wall of the space arm.
The fear in his heart urged him to leave the Space Station imdiately.
However, the Space Station’s outer walls could withstand at least a ten-second continuous output from Dusk’s cruiser weapons.
Though the mining laser was potent, it was undeniably slow.
Chen Ming couldn’t endure the feeling any longer.
He directly threw a few unard missiles he had scavenged from a Sentinel Level and detonated them after gaining so distance.
The portion of the Space Station’s outer wall already cut was blown open into a gap.
The Iron Ore No. imdiately flew forward, knocking the damaged wall debris out through the gap.
Upon exiting the dock, the sense of danger in Chen Ming’s heart suddenly vanished completely.
But imdiately, he saw the Dusk cruiser, now seemingly right at arm’s length.
The three large support points on its hull were all flickering with the glow of energy weapon charging.
In the next instant, a laser from one of the Speed Particle Spear fired, sweeping over a segnt of space arm No. 30, not yet shielded.
Even a brief contact from the particle torrent severed the space arm completely; nurous tal surfaces that were challenging for the mining laser lted into molten iron in a flash.
During the previous battle, even at a considerable distance, the sight was breathtaking for Chen Ming.
Now, experiencing it up close, he could truly feel the power contained within that beam.
If he had hesitated slightly, not trusted his instincts, or delayed his departure, he might have perished with the dock.
Fortunately, the worst-case scenario did not occur.
But now Chen Ming had another issue.
How did that sudden sensation co about?
The question circled in Chen Ming’s mind constantly, but no answers erged.
If he couldn’t figure it out, he let it go.
Anyway, that feeling saved him from the Speed Particle Spear of the Dusk, so it certainly wasn’t a bad thing.
More pressing matters lay before him still.
This ti, Dusk’s attack was swifter and more ferocious than the last.
In re minutes, it had closed to striking distance; the Space Station’s shields weren’t fully deployed before they were attacked by Dusk’s Speed Particle Spear.
It was as if they intended to seize the Space Station in one swift blow.
On the Space Station’s side, however.
The patrol team’s dedicated dock was spared from the first wave of Speed Particle Spear attacks from Dusk, and so ships were accelerating to deploy.
Yet outside the Space Station, there was only a fleet of about thirty ships—hardly forming an adequate defensive line.
Amid such an ergency, could the Space Station really endure?
Just as this question ford in Chen Ming’s mind, he suddenly noticed his sensors detecting a large number of ships transitioning out of the Superspace Channel at the edge of the star system.
