Qiao Hongye had a standard face that looked as if it belonged to a daughter of a humble family . Her eyebrows were gentle, unlike those sharp and thick eyebrows of Jing Yunzhao . She was not as tall as Jing Yunzhao and looked plumper than Jing Yunzhao but was still of an average size . Honestly speaking, she looked delicate and lovable .

It could be said that the reason why Qiao Hongye was so well-known in school was not because of her grades as the school’s number two and also not because of her outstanding looks, but because of her aura .

When she was quiet, she was gentle and pleasant . When she was happy, she was coy and cute . When she was mistreated, she was looked pitiful . She could always flirt with just a single look . She, of course, never lost her calm in front of others .

Jing Yunzhao found it laughable and reached out to pull her arm back: “Whoever I go to school with is none of your business, right?”

This world just has this many weird people .

Embarrassment flashed through Qiao Hongye’s face but she then pouted, “Jie, aren’t I just worried about you? Are you two dating? [2] I heard that Gan Jinchen’s father is a doctor and his mother is a businesswoman . Isn’t his family pretty well off?”

The main points were that Gan Jinchen was good-looking and also had good grades .

Qiao Hongye and Gan Jinchen naturally knew one another . There were only two people amongst the first years that were chosen to be part of the Student Union, and those two were Qiao Hongye and Gan Jinchen .

It was early in the morning . There was also traffic outside of the classroom’s door . Qiao Hongye’s voice was pleasing to the ear, so it naturally attracted the attention of others . After hearing what she had said, many girls stopped in their tracks and came to join in on the motion .

“Jing Yunzhao, you’re dating Gan Jinchen?! Really?” A girl asked .

Jing Yunzhao’s face darkened .

“Qiao Hongye, is your skull full of mud? I only happened to bump into Su Chu and Gan Jinchen on the way to school, but how e it turned into dating when it went through your mouth?” Jing Yunzhao said coldly .

Yet, Qiao Hongye looked as if she didn’t care, as if Jing Yunzhao’s words were a joke .

“Aya, Jie-jie, it’s all my fault that my mouth slipped . Sorry! Okay, okay, I won’t say anything anymore,” Qiao Hongye purposely squinted her eyes .

After this was said, it was as if what she had said was the truth .

A situation like this was not a first . Acting like a good kid was something that Qiao Hongye was a pro at .

Suddenly, numerous images flashed through Jing Yunzhao’s mind . Her tightly closed lips slowly curved into a scoff . Looking at the hateful girl before her, she raised her hand and slapped her!

A “PA” sound resounded, stunned the surrounding people .

Qiao Hongye was also dumbfounded . Jing Yunzhao actually dared to hit her?

What right does she have to hit her? None! She was only a bastard, a mere bastard raised in her own house .
