Xiao Lin has only taken today off; he’ll start work tomorrow and certainly doesn’t want to be late again like on his first day. Besides, Xiao Lin doesn’t have much luggage, just so clothes and books. It will only take about three days to move into the villa that Hua Qingyi arranged. The place is fully furnished; Teacher Qi didn’t touch any of the furniture when moving out. He can just move in with his personal belongings and essentials, which is very convenient.
"So, which room do you plan to choose?" Xia Xue asked, not overly demanding, but giving Xiao Lin the first choice.
Xiao Lin wasn’t the petty type. Since Xia Xue put it that way, Xiao Lin, being the kind of person who reciprocates kindness, smiled and said, "Ladies first, you pick a room. I’ll be fine with any room." After speaking, sensing an awkward atmosphere, he turned to Hua Qingyi, who was standing by the window, and said, "Let’s go, help move my stuff." Hua Qingyi turned around and looked at Xia Xue and Xiao Lin, smiling mischievously, making Xiao Lin feel a bit helpless.

"Alright, kid, don’t hit your brother like that!" Xiao Lin was a bit frustrated; Yanjing isn’t such a big place, yet he managed to upset two girls in less than twenty-four hours and then et them again. He was unsure if cohabiting with Xia Xue was the right decision.
Xia Xue chose the forr landlord’s master bedroom. The bedding was brand new, and at three thousand a month, the rent was pretty reasonable. Except for basic toiletries like toothpaste and towels, it was almost fully equipped.
The master bedroom’s window was Xia Xue’s favorite floor-to-ceiling type. Opening the window door, there was a small balcony. The environnt here was quite nice. At this ti, the students were out of class, and looking down from the floor-to-ceiling window was quite a sight.
A silver QQ car and a newly released silver-gray BMW slowly passed in front of Xia Xue. Although she didn’t see who was driving the silver-gray BMW, she could tell it was the one the guy drove last night. Xia Xue’s mind started to wander. It seed she was deceived by that young guy last night; his car wasn’t rented but borrowed.
"Seems like this guy has a bit of competence, to know friends like that, probably from a relatively good family. Unfortunately, alas, why is my fate so tough? Finally, soone I was interested in, but not only is he younger, he also has no background. Maybe in a year or two, there’d have been a chance!" Xia Xue sighed to herself, patting her head, "What am I thinking? Knowing it’s impossible, why think so much? Xia Xue, you have to watch your mouth more from now on and not speak carelessly!" Xia Xue reprimanded herself.
Hua Qingyi and Xiao Lin parted ways after leaving Yan University. Xiao Lin didn’t have much luggage, just so personal items, clothes, and books, so there was no need for Hua Qingyi to help him move.
On his way back to the villa, Xiao Lin didn’t encounter any traffic jams. Upon returning, he imdiately packed his clothes and books. Seeing that it wasn’t even two o’clock yet, he wasn’t sure what to do next.
"Forget it, I might as well move over there sooner," Xiao Lin thought, looking at the empty villa. Hua Qingyi ant well, but living alone in such a large villa did feel a bit lonely.
Xiao Lin drove his beloved QQ car back to Yan University leisurely, weaving through the campus until he reached the dormitory building. After parking, he took two suitcases back to room 703. He took out his key and opened the door.
"Ah... you pervert, coming in without knocking!" A female voice scread from the living room.
Xiao Lin was stunned; he hadn’t expected Xia Xue to be walking around the living room in a sheer nightgown. She wasn’t wearing anything underneath, and with his eyesight, he saw everything that could be seen.
Although they were quite intimate the previous night, it was the first ti Xiao Lin saw a woman’s body so "clearly." Moreover, he had drunk quite a bit the night before, paying little attention to that. Now, in a sober state, he was overwheld by Xia Xue’s figure.
Through the black sheer nightgown, he saw Xia Xue’s alabaster-like skin, her proud chest standing firm and magnificent, with two pink peaks atop them... Her long, slender, white legs clamped the gown tightly, yet it couldn’t completely cover the view below.
Xia Xue grabbed a cup and threw it at Xiao Lin, shouting furiously, "Are you still looking!"
"Uh... it wasn’t on purpose!" Xiao Lin snapped out of it, quickly dodging the flying cup and hastily explaining. Then he heard the cup shattering against the wall, pieces scattering everywhere, with so hitting Xiao Lin but causing no harm.
With sha and anger, Xia Xue ran back to her room, cursing under her breath for Xiao Lin’s eyes to get a stye, or better yet, go blind.
In truth, Xia Xue was quite conflicted. Last night’s behavior and getting nearly seen entirely by Xiao Lin now were trivial. But last night’s actions were intentional. Even so, when the mont almost ca to fruition, Xia Xue shed tears over her actions. She was quite traditional at heart.
Suddenly being seen by a man in such a state, regardless of what happened last night, was Xia Xue’s instinctual reaction.
Xiao Lin placed his luggage down and rubbed his nose, smiling bitterly at the cup fragnts on the floor. It seed living together wasn’t going to be easy. He dutifully picked up a broom and dustpan at the door and began cleaning up.
Back in her room, Xia Xue couldn’t help but laugh a bit, rembering last night when she practically begged him to take her virginity. Why didn’t he seize the opportunity today? Xia Xue was rely comforting herself; she felt one-night stands with Xiao Lin might be fun, but becoming lovers was out of the question.
Changing into ordinary clothes, Xia Xue opened the door to find Xiao Lin earnestly sweeping up the shards of the cup she had smashed. She was montarily stunned, feeling even more bittersweet inside. He was such a suitable man for ho life. What a pity.
"So, Dr. Xiao, since we are roommates, shouldn’t we establish so ground rules?" Xia Xue said, biting her lip.
