"Xiaoxue, what nonsense are you thinking about?" Rubbing his forehead in frustration, the woman’s unreasonable tantrum felt like a smokeless war, and the man was the loser of this battle. Xiao Lin stepped forward and enveloped Xia Xue, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, in his arms, unable to resist caressing her delicate shoulders.
In silence, Xia Xue cried softly. She had a feeling this man might suddenly disappear before her, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t hold onto him. Panic engulfed her.
"Oh my God, you’re holding so tightly!" Xiaoxue suddenly embraced him back, and Xiao Lin freed his hands. He was truly speechless and helpless at his woman’s bewildering behavior.
Behind them was the balcony. The night sky wasn’t without stars, but the lights from the buildings illuminated the dark night brightly.
Lian was flipping through a book, seemingly expecting him to co looking for her, wearing pajamas with a cup of coffee on the bedside table.
"You knew I was coming to see you."
The mug had cooled for quite so ti, with no coffee stains on the rim—indicating the brewed coffee hadn’t been tasted by its owner. Xiao Lin, drying his hair and bare-chested, sat on Lian’s bed, his perfectly toned abs tightly assembled.
"Shouldn’t you put on so clothes before coming over? Otherwise, your girlfriend might misunderstand there’s sothing between you and again." Lian teased, eyeing Xiao Lin. She had seen him naked countless tis, yet she still harbored a yearning for him like this, attributing such anticipation to excess hormones.
"What’s there to misunderstand? It’s not the first ti we’ve faced each other like this." Xiao Lin nonchalantly tossed the towel aside; he had so questions to discuss with her. (To be continued.
