The bright moonlight tonight hides behind the clouds, while stars quietly wait beside it against the distant night sky. Though they cannot see the flickering lights beneath the clouds, they resolutely wait for that rare opportunity of dim brightness.
People always choose the mories they want to rember. In the cycle of day and night, events that happened and those that didn't beco aningless, like the hidden moonlight. Just like the people living in this backward village, as long as they can live peacefully and contentedly with food and shelter until old age or death, they feel satisfied. As for other matters, they seem insignificant and unrelated to themselves.
In the night, a visitor unexpectedly arrived in the village, slowly approaching the person sitting with his back to the village. Ever since people entered their dreamland, he had been sitting there, perhaps only confronting the flock could he calm his fluctuating emotions.
Perhaps it was the familiar scent that caused Xiao Lin to silently wrap his arm around the neck of the Black Crow, pulling it into his embrace without a word.
The docile nature almost makes one forget it is a wild wolf, a king newly crowned as the leader of the pack, its head resting on Xiao Lin's thigh. The moonlight flashed swiftly, casting pearl-like rays upon him, unable to bring more hope, and solitude followed closely behind.

Those they follow always keep the darkest side buried deeply, and monts of openness like now are rare. "Miao Shaoqing, you still have the chance to choose now. If one day you betray him like Master Miao did, I will personally kill you."
"The principle of an eternal rebel not being used seems not to apply to you."
Ye Liqing smiled wordlessly, shaking off Miao Shaoqing's hand, walking toward Xiao Lin. "Boss, it's ti to move out!"
A small plane cut through the clouds, landing at an enclosed hangar. The car parked by the side moved in slowly after the plane was stable. Xiao Lin boarded the car, followed by his newly acquired partner, a robust and large canine creature.
"Aren't you coming?" Xiao Lin asked Ye Liqing from inside the car, while the 'Black Crow' mbers were entering the vehicle behind, waiting for him.
"No, thank you! I have my work to do."
"Alright, let know if anything cos up."
The car moved smoothly onto the road, and Ye Liqing waited until the car vanished from sight before entering another car parked on the side, inside which Ye Liqing sat with a cold expression. "Is this the ti for cleaning house?"
"Yes!"
"You should know about the grudge between the Dark and Black Crow," Ye Liqing ordered the driver to start the car, heading not towards the city center but exited the airport towards the national highway.
"This isn't heading towards the Dark."
"Yes, cleaning house ans breaking the rules first." Ye Liqing glanced at Ye Liqing with indifference, seeing his shocked expression, she remained unbothered. "The Dark isn't as simple as you think. We are going to et the big boss now, and whether your feud with the Black Crow will beco a grace or grievance is up to you to deem."
"You're asking to betray Xiao Lin?"
"The Black Crow has always belonged to the Xiao Family, and we have never gotten along with the Black Crow. I'm doing this for your own good, not wanting you to be trapped in a dilemma. "Is that person truly so good? I'm the one you should rely on."
"You rely gave birth to , blood relative? I don't feel much about that."
The car trembled, Ye Liqing straightened his back, focusing his gray eyes on Ye Liqing. "If possible, I want to enter alone."
"You'll die."
"Yes, and I'll drag them with , but on one condition." The car stopped after entering a vast space, two villas connected by a long corridor, surrounded by mountains on one side and overlooking the city on the other, facing the endless sky.
"To beco a true collaborator of the Xiao Family, is this what you an?" Ye Liqing had already jumped out of the car first, looking not at Ye Liqing but at the woman who birthed and abandoned him.
"You'll never understand."
As Ye Liqing stepped into the mansion, the door automatically opened and closed. The world of Dark is like the tall and hefty wooden door, bearing historical traces, even though renovations can't hide the past.
