126: Chapter 116: Counterattack (Please Subscribe) 126: Chapter 116: Counterattack (Please Subscribe) Huang Chen discovered that after the thunderous lightning ca a torrential downpour, which had dissipated all the poison he had sprayed earlier.

Had he been working for half a day in vain?

Could it be that this dragon appeared specifically to counter him?

“Damn, what the hell is this?”

Huang Chen then caught a scent that was vital to the human body, a scent that not only benefited the physical body but seed to also benefit the soul of a ghost cultivator like him.

Without giving it much thought, Huang Chen frantically absorbed this vitality within his magical treasure, solidifying his soul cultivation even further.

Jiang Tang, in the Spirit Field Space, was plucking flowers from a distance in the herb garden, harvesting so Vitality Grass Green Flowers.

He had Eryao disperse the vitality of these flowers across Hell Palace outside by simulating rain.

The sudden thunderous lightning had also terrified the underground demonic beasts, leaving them trembling and too afraid to move.

“Huff, huff, huff”

The lower-cultivation beasts hiding underground, which had been foaming at the mouth, stopped their foaming and frantically absorbed the scent of vitality, repairing their bodies.

“Daddy, the poison has been cleared.

We can call it a day.

Ah…

Dead tired, dragon cub here.”

Eryao stopped casting the spell, retracting the guiding ring into the Primordial Treasure Lingtian Space, and laid on the ground in the space, gasping for air.

“Mmm, good work, Eryao,” Jiang Tang said appreciatively.

“Moo moo,” Little Blue Ox was also jumping around.

“Daddy, don’t just give lip service.

Don’t call a lazy dragon cub in the future.

This ox is even lazier than I am.

Daddy, you never scold him.

He’s as lazy as a pig and eats more than ,” Eryao said, glaring at Little Blue Ox.

Glancing at the jumping Little Blue Ox, Eryao vented his anger on the ox.

“Moo…” Little Blue Ox lowered its head in response to Eryao’s words, feeling that it wasn’t that lazy, okay?

It just didn’t have such abilities and didn’t want to cause trouble for its master and Eryao.

“Alright, alright!

I’ll reward you with so stir-fried Spirit Grass.”

Jiang Tang was actually hungry himself.

There was no distinction between day and night in this space.

Sotis he worked during the day, sotis at night, ssing up the schedule for eating and cultivation.

Whenever there was ti, if he was hungry, he would eat.

“Yay, yay, I want extra veggies.

Little Blue Ox didn’t work.

Don’t give it any,” Eryao said while glaring at Little Blue Ox again.

Now, Little Blue Ox not only lowered its head but also lay on the ground, unable to resist or retort.

Jiang Tang chuckled.

It was just Spirit Grass after all, not so delicacy.

Speaking of which, the food here was too plain; there was no at, and he began to feel hungry again.

He dared not kill the outside demonic beasts for their at.

It seed like those beasts had just been exposed to poison.

Eating their flesh might lead to the sa fate as his parents, who died after consuming poisoned rats.

If only there were fish or shrimp, thought Jiang Tang.

With this thought, he used an Absorption Spell to pick the tender sprouts of Spirit Grass that he had harvested before.

Space crops grew too quickly; the tender sprouts he had just harvested a day ago had grown back, even more tender than before.

After plucking the sprouts, Jiang Tang used an Absorption Spell and then a watering thod to wash the tender sprouts clean.

He placed them in a bamboo basket and said to Eryao, who lay on the ground waiting for his al to be cooked:

“Eryao, do you want to eat fish and shrimp?”

“Daddy, where do we get fish and shrimp?” Eryao’s eyes lit up for a mont, but then he thought the fish and shrimp must be his offsprings, right?

He probably shouldn’t eat them?

“Isn’t there a river outside?

There should be fish and shrimp in it, right?”

“Daddy, are we going to work again?” Eryao knew without thinking that if Jiang Tang was asking him, he definitely ant—

If he needed help, he’d either ask for assistance together or just call Little Blue Ox.

However, the silly ox currently lacked the ability to lend a hand.

Well, it doesn’t matter, the fish and shrimp in that river shouldn’t be its offsprings, right?

Eryao was actually overthinking.

He was just a Snow Dragon without form.

Besides, this magical treasure has existed for tens of millions of years; those fish and shrimp surely wouldn’t be the offspring of a Dragon Cub.

Jiang Tang started cooking a pot of rice and said to Little Blue Ox, “Little Blue Ox, watch the rice while I go out with Eryao.

Don’t let the rice burn.”

“Moo…” Little Blue Ox leapt up, figuring there must be sothing delicious coming its way again.

Having a task was better than none; otherwise, Eryao would pester it again.

Punishing it by withholding food ans it would just sit there salivating, right?

Eryao spat out a spray of saliva that turned into a large ring of light, and exited the space with his master.

The space was originally by a small river, and when their ring of light landed on the riverbank, all was still quiet within the Hell Palace.

The fish and shrimp in the river seed to float on the surface like after a storm, a downpour having co and gone.

They could see large shrimp and big fish on the river surface from within the light ring, and even spotted crabs and green mussels.

Jiang Tang had prepared the bamboo basket used for collecting dicinal herbs in the space.

The basket could hold fish, as well as green mussels and shrimp.

He then cast an Absorption Spell, selectively gathering the largest fish, big shrimp, crabs, and mussels into a basket full to the brim.

Feeling that they had enough to last them a few days, he said to Eryao,

“That’s enough, we’re done.”

“Hmm,” Eryao spun the ring of light, carrying the stacked baskets of fish and shrimp, and re-entered the space with his master.

By the ti they were back in the space, the pot guarded by Little Blue Ox was brimming with fragrant steaming white rice.

Jiang Tang then started to grill fish, steam shrimp with a touch of soy sauce, and after stir-frying the tender shoots, he prepared a soup with the clean green mussels.

This al with soup, grilled fish, shrimp, and greens left Jiang Tang and his two pets with greasy mouths, lying on the ground of the space, overly full.

“Wow, that was absolutely delicious,” Jiang Tang praised after having his fill.

He felt that being in the Hell Palace wasn’t so bad if he hadn’t yet found a way out—even staying there, days could be quite carefree and leisurely.

As long as they didn’t leave the space, there was no danger, and with Eryao, there was no worry about finding food.

Even though the Hell Palace reeked of danger, wasn’t the Cultivation World outside just as perilous?

If not, why would he be chased and frad ti after ti?

At this point, Jiang Tang felt quite content being here, not eager to leave the Hell Palace.

Even if he could leave, he wanted to stay a bit longer, as his family needed him to care for them and to help his parents cultivate into tangible bodies sooner.

After all, cultivating here ant progressing faster than the outside world.

By the ti he was capable of leaving, might he already be a great power, able to tear through space with a wave of his hand?

Jiang Tang squinted, lost in his wild thoughts.

Eryao and Little Blue Ox, having had their fill, also laid down to sleep, not disturbing each other.

In the Primordial Treasure Lingtian Space, the mountains in the distance were still brilliantly illuminated, crops in the space were lush and full of vitality, and the dicinal garden was fragrant with flowers.

In the space’s two large rings of light, many small rings contained little figures sitting and cultivating.

These figures were only the size of two fingers, lively like little elves.

After eating, Jiang Tang too entered a state of cultivation, using the ti he would normally spend sleeping to cultivate.
