Now reading: Chapter 1963 - 1121: (Part 2) from Spiritual Energy Rejuvenation: I Began Cultivating By Farming, a Sci-fi novel by One word, that's settled..

The situation has improved sowhat, and the doctor ca out again to tell them that Madam Huang needs to stay in bed and not move around freely, as her condition is too dangerous. If she ventures outside carelessly, it’s likely she might lose the child.

If it wasn’t for her earlier dication, the child in Madam Huang’s womb would have been lost.

The maid could only nod; she couldn’t speak on behalf of Madam Huang, so she just thanked the doctor.

Madam Huang didn’t speak either; she had things she needed to do but could only wait until her body felt a bit better.

This matter had to be handled secretly, planned out at ho, but she already knew she couldn’t act personally and would have to entrust it to her mother.

She didn’t listen to her parents, insisted on marrying her husband, and had almost severed ties with her family in the process.

Her father was unyielding, showing no kindness to them, and with the instigation of so other family mbers, combined with the actions of certain concubines, her father was displeased with them.

Her own mother, who after all had borne her, felt pity for her marrying a poor scholar that brought sha to the family and made her subject to ridicule; yet, she still showed compassion, sotis supplenting her with money.

Her mother even bought lots of things when she found out she was pregnant, spending money on them.

Madam Huang returned ho weakly, receiving her mother-in-law’s continuous scolding.

Yet, at this mont, she felt too unwell to retort.

The place her husband used to live was smaller, just a rural village.

Her husband and his schoolmates attended a poetry gathering, which was where Madam Huang had t him.

The courtyard they lived in was purchased with Madam Huang’s savings, not a village house but a ho in the urban area.

Though there are only a few bedrooms, apart from family mbers, only one or two rooms are designated for servants, and there are a kitchen, a place for bathing, a storeroom, a miscellaneous room, a place for storing mule carts, and for keeping mules.

Compared to where they used to live, it was certainly an improvent.

Madam Huang was carried into her room.

Her husband wasn’t at ho; her mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law were all there.

Feeling stifled in her mother-in-law’s scolding, Madam Huang was also upset by the eyes of her brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Once feeling slightly better, she sent her maid back to her family ho.

Madam Luo still didn’t know that because Madam Huang wanted to see her, wanted to harm them, her body was getting weaker, nearly unable to keep the child.

Such matters were kept from her by the family to avoid her feeling troubled and soft-hearted.

The daily routine involved walking around the courtyard, making little clothes and shoes for the child.

Talking softly to the child.

There was always a feeling that the child could understand her words.

Her husband spent more ti accompanying her each day.

Luo Baojun, inside his mother’s belly, naturally, could hear what she said.

Apart from his cultivation ti, he cultivated during the day and slept at night.

Because his mother’s soft murmurs prevented him from sleeping well during the day.

During cultivation, he was not affected by his mother’s words, as they could be filtered out, with cultivation overriding external noise.

Yet he could still hear his mother’s voice, occasionally responding to comfort her.

Moving his hands and feet.

When his mother touched her belly, he’d move a bit under her palm.

Through such actions, he could actually grant her so golden light Qi from his Golden Finger.

Nourishing her body.

Luo Baojun found a cultivation technique in the Living Treasure Space that ordinary people could also cultivate.

He even dread that once he could speak, he’d tell his parents so that they could cultivate too.

By that ti, his family would have their skills, protecting themselves from being easily hard.

Luo Baojun could only cultivate on his own, and during his free ti, he’d study so cultivation skill manuals in the Buddha Treasure Space.

He’d enter the space with his thoughts to study, successfully learning other skills using thought alone within the Buddha Treasure Space.

Though he couldn’t perform things physically yet, he hadn’t reached the capability of practicing spell magic.

After all, his body was too small, still a fetus.

He relied entirely on the Buddha Light within the Buddha Treasure Space for cultivation.

With the protection of Buddha Light, his body beca stronger, not easily depleting his luck or health Qi by others’ items.

Luo Baojun, within his mother’s belly, spent another two months, at which point his body had developed fully, though he was only a seven-month-old child. If it were soone else’s seven months old, they’d be weak upon birth.

Staying longer inside the mother only made one’s body stronger.

Premature babies are inherently weak, their bodies not fully developed.

But Luo Baojun was different; through cultivation, his body was strengthened.

A seven-month-old baby, already with a physique stronger than a ten-month-old baby.

However, he shouldn’t be born prematurely at over seven months, from which more issues might arise.

Luo Baojun used his thoughts to cultivate, reading many books in the Buddha Treasure Space.

The things he did inside his mother’s belly were not visible to the outside world, let alone knowing his oddity.

There was only one downside; he could only use his thoughts to enter the National Treasure Space.

He couldn’t enter it physically.

Making cultivation less effective.

Luo Baojun had already reached the third level of Qi Cultivation, now capable of cultivating spells in the Buddha Treasure Space.

Having reached this skill level, he learned other skills as well, spell magic, and so other techniques.

Using these two months wisely to learn other skills within the Buddha Treasure Space.

Master the abilities, so no demons or ghosts would be a threat, no longer relying solely on the Buddha Treasure Space’s protection.

Luo Baojun knew those Taoists had so abilities.

In this world, although there wasn’t spiritual energy, those people cultivated through academia.

They absorbed others’ luck, using it to cultivate and prolong their lives.

Luo Baojun’s current abilities couldn’t contend with those Taoists, unable to confront them directly.

But with his Golden Finger, the opponent’s skills couldn’t easily defeat him for the ti being.

Several clashes have resulted in victories, proving the Buddha Treasure Space’s potency.

The Divine provisioning is undoubtedly extraordinary, far from mortal items.

Luo Baojun continued practicing skills and refining magic.

In just two months, his cultivation level advanced two more stages, learning so simple spells.

Purification Magic, Fireball Technique, Water Spray Spell.

Talisman Drawing, simpler formation.

Wanting to learn other skills, wasn’t possible given the limited ti, as the day had co for his birth.

At birth, there were the midwives, nannies, and mother’s cries.

To ease his mother’s pain, Luo Baojun cast a light onto her body, a light to support her, reducing her agony.

He was also considerate, hastening his birth.

During Madam Luo’s labor, the courtyard was filled with people; the Old Madam, the Master, and even the heir were summoned back.

The news quickly spread to other household mbers.

The midwife had already stayed in the courtyard for so ti, due to the presence of a pregnant woman, never knowing when the birth might occur.

A household doctor was also called, ready on standby outside.

As Madam Luo gave birth, those outside grew anxious, only hearing her loud cries gradually quieten.

When Young Master Luo returned, he saw his parents in the courtyard, outside their room.

Inside, one basin of water after another was carried out, then back in.

The water brought out was stained with blood.

Hot water went in, bloody water ca out.

Everyone was on edge.

But no one could enter.

The doctor waited outside.

Soon, they heard the sound of a baby.

The baby’s cries.

From the ti Madam Luo began labor to the child’s birth, only half an hour had passed.

Though restless, those outside felt it went smoothly, marveling at how swiftly Madam Luo delivered the child, suffering little.

This was her firstborn.

Luo Baojun sensed it, as soone patted his bottom, prompting him to cry out.
