Witnessing the aftermath of their accidental collision, the two young madams immediately knelt down, fear etched across their pale faces.

Facing their pleas, Princess Consort cast a cold, stern gaze upon them, her eyes then shifting to Second Young Madam Tian, who appeared utterly frightened.

Approaching the distressed trio, the Fourth Princess Consort expressed concern, “I don’t believe they did it intentionally. It’s the first month of the lunar year, and they’ve admitted their mistake. Sister-in-law, let’s forgive them. How about I acpany you to change?”
Given the unintentional nature of the incident, Princess Consort had no grounds for punishment. Suppressing her grievances, she generously raised her hand, saying, “Alright, get up. I understand that it wasn’t deliberate.”
“Thank you, Princess Consort!” The three of them sighed in relief and helped the maidservant to her feet.
As the Fourth Princess Consort led Princess Consort to change, she instructed the other princess consorts to invite the guests into the theater, as the show couldn’t proceed until Princess Consort arrived.
Taking advantage of the moment, Qiao Xuan approached Second Young Madam Tian and addressed her with a sly smile, ensuring her voice carried enough for those nearby to hear. “Princess Consort, your grace and magnanimity truly exemplify royal decorum. No need to argue with Second Young Madam. Thankfully, my Lixia didn’t accidentally push her down, or she might have faced severe scolding!”
Second Young Madam Tian held her breath and shot a glare at Qiao Xuan, recognizing her own wrongdoing but avoiding further confrontation.
Qiao Xuan smiled and walked past her with Lixia, determined to find an opportunity for a eback. She was prepared to endure mockery if it meant resisting the pressure to please Princess Consort and Fourth Princess Consort.
With plans to leave the capital soon, she cared little for potential consequences. She would not return anytime soon, and even if she did, she wouldn’t rely on connections. There was little to worry about.
