Gary Neville: "The roaring cheers, like a gale, have swept through every corner of Old Trafford!"

Jamie Carragher: "Just as Manchester United fans were about to give up in despair, a miracle finally unfolded at the Theatre of Dreams!"

After scoring the dramatic winner, Ling sprinted wildly to the corner arc, sliding on his knees and raising his fist high toward the ecstatic South Stand.

At that mont, he felt an electric current surge through his entire body, every exhausted cell suddenly pulsating with raw fervor.

How infinitely valuable was this specific goal?

It ant Manchester United had officially overtaken Manchester City by a single point at the absolute top of the table, effectively deciding the fate of the Premier League Title!

Describing the header as "priceless" would not be an overstatent in the slightest.

But what excited Ling the most personally was that, even in such dire tactical and physical circumstances, everyone in the red squad had refused to easily abandon hope, persisting and pressing until the final minute.

As the television cara gradually zood out to capture the scene.

On one side of the screen was Ling, quickly surrounded by his delirious teammates forming a massive pile-on.

He looked up from the bottom of the pile at that eternal figure in the stands and suddenly felt an inexplicable, historic sensation.

It was as if Sir Matt Busby, who had accompanied the Red Devils through their darkest storms and greatest hardships, had always been proudly watching over him from afar.

On the other side of the split-screen broadcast was the actual bronze statue of Matt Busby, his right hand resting on his hip, his left hand gently holding a ball, gazing intently and benevolently ahead at the pitch.

As if silently, eternally praying for the future of the Red Devils.

One wonders if Sir Matt Busby, looking down from football heaven, saw a reflection of his younger self or his Babes in this captain.

Gary Neville: "Manchester United has regained the lead, and they have completely sealed the ga and surely the title!"

"This is the true Red Devil Spirit, miraculously reborn from the ashes of adversity! For years, it has propelled Manchester United forward, writing and performing the magnificent Red Devil Epic!"

"I am utterly delighted to see the new generation of Manchester United players inheriting and carrying forward this exact spirit today!"

Neville has a sarcastic nickna in the modern comntary world—Neville the Literary Master.

Beside him, Carragher spoke with a thick, cynical Liverpool accent, trying to dampen the mood.

"Gary, calm down, mate. There are technically still two minutes of stoppage ti left in the match. Perhaps another City miracle will happen. Let's believe in Manchester City!"

"Miracle? When you look closely at the defeated expressions on the faces of the Manchester City players right now, Jamie, you should understand what fate they have already chosen!" Neville stood up, looking down at his co-comntator as he retorted passionately.

"In a pre-match interview, I asked Ling what the key, deciding factor in the outco of this derby was." Neville continued, his voice thick with emotion. "This was his simple answer: 'Whether the players care enough about playing for the club.'"

Ignoring Carragher's livid, frustrated expression, Neville pointed excitedly at the LED screen on his desk and shouted to the viewers.

"Everyone at ho, take a look at the replay. Observe the collective change in ntality of the Manchester United players imdiately after Luke Shaw scored that devastating Own Goal."

"At that specific ti, I noticed they weren't communicating much and honestly thought they were about to ntally give up. But then I rembered the 1999 Champions League final in Barcelona."

"Sir Alex Ferguson, Gunnar, Phil, —all of us were focused entirely on attacking the Bayern goal in those final minutes, so there was absolutely no need for anyone to artificially motivate anyone else with words! It was just an unspoken understanding!"

No matter how many years have passed, whenever Neville recalls that specific, magical experience, he can't help but feel his blood boiling with intense excitent.

The Munich Air Disaster, Busby's Babes, the legendary Class of '92... Manchester United has many unique, defining spiritual treasures, and it is precisely those rugged, traumatic experiences that gave birth to the unbreakable Red Devil Spirit.

...

Down on the pitch, behind the wildly celebrating Manchester United players, stood the utterly despondent Manchester City players.

Kevin De Bruyne sighed silently, resting his hands on his hips.

He had strongly sensed sothing was tactically amiss when Manchester City prematurely retreated into a defensive, ti-wasting mode after the 3-3 equalizer.

Manchester City's entire lineup leaned heavily toward aggressive possession-based play and was simply not structurally adept at "Parking the Bus" or clearing lines under pressure.

Moreover, the average height and physicality of their players was vastly inferior to Manchester United's, putting them at a massive natural disadvantage in late-ga aerial duels and set pieces in their own box.

The two City flanks were also severely, physically fatigued from their frequent, overlapping attacking runs all ga.

In those brief, chaotic seven minutes after the equalizer, how many dangerous crosses did Manchester United deliver? At least three, if not four.

What was even more tactically terrifying was that Manchester United cleanly won the first ball on every single one of them, and yet Manchester City still hadn't changed their defensive strategy or pushed out.

If they had bravely continued to go toe-to-toe with United, containing the threat outside the Attacking Third by pressing, the outco would have likely been completely different.

This retreat was a complete, uncharacteristic tactical failure from Guardiola.

But then again, logic dictates that as long as they held onto the draw, they would hold onto the League Title.

Most teams would naturally choose to defend in that specific high-pressure situation.

De Bruyne didn't know the definitive answer.

He just stood there in silence.

It wasn't that he didn't want to say sothing inspiring as the captain.

It was just that by nature he was quite introverted, and the emotional words in his heart simply couldn't find their way out to his lips.

Finally, veteran David Silva stepped forward.

Pointing at the scoreboard screen in the stands, he said quietly to his teammates, "Everyone has big dreams in football, but not everyone can achieve their dreams."

"Moreover, in reality, most people never reach their ultimate dreams, whether they are those who have already achieved so success or those who have fought their bitter way to the very doorstep of their dreams, only to fall right at the threshold."

"But they all gave their absolute, last ounce of strength."

"No matter what the final result is today, lads, there are only a few minutes left on the clock. I hope none of you leave any regrets on this pitch that will haunt your lives."

David Silva knew the chances of a second equalizer were incredibly slim, but more than winning this specific match, he sincerely hoped the Manchester City players would not ntally give up, just like their opponents, Manchester United, hadn't.

Because a professional footballer plays hundreds, even thousands of matches in their career.

Not every match can be smooth sailing, and the absolute prerequisite for creating miracles is to never give up.

"Co on!!!" Kyle Walker roared hysterically, clapping his hands.

He was physically sick of losing to Manchester United every ti.

He didn't want to be mocked and humiliated by the red half of the city anymore.

...

The match restarted from the center circle.

Manchester City truly did not give up, attacking Manchester United frantically and desperately.

They launched a series of assaults, no less ferocious than United's earlier efforts to win the ga.

But what are Manchester United under Mourinho historically famous for?

High EQ: Brilliant Defensive Counterattack!

Low EQ: Park the Bus!

When both teams' physical fitness has severely, drastically declined, the effectiveness of a packed, disciplined defense exponentially increases, making it very difficult for City's intricate attacks to penetrate the box.

And so began the desperate long-range shots, the hopeful crosses, the intense aerial duels...

David De Gea and Harry Maguire transford into absolute warriors, using an impregnable, physical defense to neutralize every single one of Manchester City's attacks.
