Even in the Daoist Sect’s Scripture of Salvation, it is said, "Born, one receives salvation, eternally existing through Tribulations, rotating with them, living as long as the heavens."
In the cycle of creation and destruction within the Tribulations, the original rigid system can be shattered, generating a qualitative leap, from human to Immortal.
Therefore, mortals practicing cultivation need to undergo multiple Tribulations.
Thus, the journey westward to obtain scriptures involves ninety-nine difficult trials.
Thus, in the Divine Enthronent of the Three Teachings, there is the Immortal Tribulation.
These are all ant to undergo creation and destruction within the original system, thereby giving rise to a new system, a new form.
Therefore, Tribulation is the dicine for eternal existence of all things.
That would be the Elixir of Immortality.
