At this point, he suddenly paused, and then his tone softened sowhat, "How about this, let’s make a bet."
"I never gamble!" Qu Jianlei replied straightforwardly, "Freedom is fought for through one’s own efforts!"
The A-level warrior was so infuriated his nose nearly skewed, thinking if not for wanting to capture you alive, why would I bother chattering for so long?
He maintained patience, "The wager is your freedom, don’t you trust your own efforts?"

He raised his hand to summon five basin-sized solid wooden shields—Gold overcos wood, sure, but these could completely block it.
Nevertheless, he secretly increased his vigilance toward Qu Jianlei, recognizing the fellow’s inner breath and skills were indeed outstanding.
After casting the Golden Cone, Qu Jianlei didn’t pause, quickly employing another finger technique, "Thunder Dragon!"
A calf-thick streak of lightning was fired out, filled with rampant and destructive energy.
The lightning was even faster than the Golden Cone; though the cone launched first, the Thunder Dragon fiercely pursued!
The Golden Cone pierced through the fourth shield, then dissipated abruptly in the air.
Why did Delsen dare be so bold? His eyesight was sharp enough, and his experience was seasoned.
However, following closely, the Thunder Dragon struck the fifth shield.
"Combo..." Sander’s expression slightly changed, quickly forming four additional shields.
He could already see this was the kid’s desperate strike, its power undoubtedly extraordinary.
Thus, taking this move left him sowhat flustered—not due to lacking ability, simply completely unanticipated!
He even angrily cursed, "Who are you underestimating here?"
The Golden Cone paved the way and the Thunder Dragon followed, there should’ve been no issue with this attack approach.
Sander was furious that the opponent actually used a combo attack!
The biggest issue with a combo is insufficient charge; in equal cultivation levels, warriors with strong micro operations can attack this way.
Yet he was a dignified A-level warrior, having promised to receive the opponent’s three strikes, so... shouldn’t you have used full strength for the attack?
Combo attacks are great, but lack the needed power, wasting one opportunity for a strike—are you unable to calculate, or underestimating ?
