At Xiao Hu's exclamation of "Oh crap," Qu Jianlei jumped up in surprise, "What did you burn this ti?"
He lanted his bad luck, but who wouldn't be thrilled to acquire such a highly confidential array?
If a crucial control chip was burned, it would be a total disaster.
Fortunately, the chip Xiao Hu burned, although highly classified, was mainly for backdoor access.
Replacing it with a chip of slightly lower performance would still not affect its usage.
After so planning, the two of them quickly packed up and left, with Qu Jianlei erasing all traces before leaving.
In addition, Xiao Hu set up many sensory triggers and monitoring devices around the area.
If anyone did trace them there, he and Qu Jianlei could detect them through these devices.
But perhaps it was an overreaction, as no one showed up in the valley in the three days following their departure.
Qu Jianlei truly wanted to escape, but for so reason, he had a nagging feeling that it was very dangerous to flee at that mont!
He didn't trace the source of this feeling, as doing so would also be quite risky.
Since his instincts felt off, he decided to endure it for now, knowing he could manage.
He stayed on Star No. 2 for ten days, watching the City Guard and Patrol Guard ramp up their inspections for four or five days.
Then, the intensity of the searches gradually decreased, with no known reason why.
Xiao Hu hacked into the data center on Star No. 2 but found no related cause.
Ten days later, feeling the tension had eased, he thought it safe to leave.
Yet, inexplicably, before departing, he made a visit to the Old Town Library.
He didn't enter the library; instead, he projected his perception towards a certain elderly woman in the Rare Books Tower.
Granny Jia, with her old, dim eyes, was leaning against the wall. A hint of shimring drool was at the corner of her mouth, accompanied by a faint snore.
Qu Jianlei was certain she had detected his spiritual power, so he gently touched her again.
"Are you not done yet?" The old lady's eyelids fluttered slightly but she still didn't open her eyes.
"I'm no young girl; if you have such thoughts, talk to another woman."
"Granny Jia, I have sothing I'd like to consult you about," Qu Jianlei conveyed a ssage using his spiritual power.
Though he wasn't adept at transmitting voices through spiritual power, it was close enough.
"Consult?" Granny Jia, startled for a mont, slowly opened her eyelids, "What could you possibly not understand that you'd consult ?"
It wasn't just flattery. As soone who had once challenged the bindings of the Supre, she was supposed to have her eyes set high.
But she was very aware that the knowledge held by the Panda was unrelated to his Supre status; it was simply a matter of different circles.
Even if you are Supre, without entry into that circle, relevant information would still remain elusive to you.
No one really takes issue with this; monopolization of information is sothing everyone is accustod to.
"Well..." Qu Jianlei hesitated, "Granny Jia, should we talk outside?"
"Alright!" Granny Jia opened her cloudy old eyes and nodded slowly, "Seems you've got quite the trouble."
Having lived nearly three hundred years, what wouldn't she understand?
The old lady shakily left the library, heading to a large tree by the street.
There, a motorbike was parked, with a helted rider straddling it.
She gave the person a cloudy-eyed glance, "Snuck back in?"
"Yes," Qu Jianlei nodded, "But Kushnier is already dead; before long, we'll be able to co back."
"No rush," Granny Jia shook her head, "Since you're out, stay a while longer, explore while you're young."
I've traveled enough already, Qu Jianlei smiled wryly, "Granny Jia, do you know where I can get a Qi Gathering Array?"
"Qi Gathering Array?" The old lady's murky eyes shot out a gleam, but it was just for an instant.
Then she asked solemnly, "Who told you this term?"
"It's a bit inconvenient to say," Qu Jianlei coughed lightly, "Is it very important?"
"Of course it's important," Granny Jia answered without hesitation, "Let whoever told you help you get the Qi Gathering Array."
Qu Jianlei spread his hands helplessly, "What if I said I saw it in so book?"
Granny Jia gave him a suspicious look, standing there silently for a long ti.
After quite a pause, she sighed softly, "Kushnier... was it your people who killed him?"
"Well... he was actually in soone else's way," Qu Jianlei replied unflinchingly.
Then he asked, "Are these two questions necessarily related?"
Granny Jia pondered vaguely for a mont, then sighed lightly once more, "This was covered by a confidentiality agreent, but... it doesn't matter now."
Then she looked at Qu Jianlei, "Just make sure not to ntion this to outsiders, as it's a military top-secret."
"Actually, the Qi Gathering Array is sothing you should have heard of before, except it's called the 'Extre Cultivation Room'."
Upon hearing this, Qu Jianlei was taken aback, then a corner of his mouth twitched as he nodded in sudden realization, "Got it."
The Extre Cultivation Room of the military, he had truly heard of it, and it was said to be highly efficient for cultivation.
It can be imagined that the threshold for using the Extre Cultivation Room is also quite high.
Superpower Warriors need to et various criteria to cultivate there, and also consu rits.
Even with all this, there's still a limit on the number of cultivation days each year.
Qu Jianlei had initially thought, after hearing about this cultivation room, that the military had used so ans to enhance the efficiency of absorbing Crystal.
Only now did he realize that the Extre Cultivation Room was rely an illusion; the truly useful thing was the Qi Gathering Array.
This illusion, however, was easy to understand; the military wanted to conceal the existence of the Qi Gathering Array.
However, too many Warriors had enjoyed its convenience, making it impossible to keep secret.
So a reason was artificially created to emphasize the effect of the cultivation room and downplay the existence of the Array.
Granny Jia also believed he understood, so she asked again, "Is it the simple version or the enhanced version?"
"It's..." Qu Jianlei shivered and looked suspiciously at her, "What simple and enhanced versions?"
Granny Jia ignored his expression, mumbling softly.
"When I was advancing above the Supre, I used the super-enhanced version... you just need to understand that yourself."
Qu Jianlei nodded slightly, "I thought you should know about this Array, while others probably don't."
Granny Jia muttered softly, "I thought you got the Array from Kushnier."
Oh dear... Qu Jianlei's lips twitched again; this old lady seems to be quite insightful.
Fortunately, his face was concealed by a helt, so his expression didn't show.
He asked with interest, "Why do you think Kushnier might have the Qi Gathering Array?"
"Intuition," Granny Jia replied casually, "He's responsible for the reserves of the entire Star Realm, so it's not hard to co across this."
Qu Jianlei remained silent for a while before asking, "Doing sothing in this matter... does he have the guts?"
"It's not really about guts," the old lady continued her muttering.
"The Imperial is so vast, and there are so many Supres, the Qi Gathering Array couldn't have failed to leak, it's simply that whoever obtains it doesn't dare to spread the word."
Qu Jianlei froze for a mont, then laughed, "The way you say it makes want to get a set even more."
"Getting a set isn't too difficult," Granny Jia said, casting a aningful glance his way, "You just need to be prepared to face the consequences."
Qu Jianlei blinked once and laughed, "Why do you think I have that much capability?"
"You know yourself well," Granny Jia murmured softly, "I'm just reminding you, once you get involved in so matters, it can be very troubleso."
Qu Jianlei pondered for a mont before asking, "Regarding the matter of killing to silence... what do you think?"
Granny Jia gave him an odd look, "Is it a simple inquiry, or do you have other intentions?"
"Where are you going with that," Qu Jianlei responded with a wry smile, "It's purely a simple inquiry."
"Then ask your own heart," the old lady muttered, "Listening to others' suggestions can sotis lead to regrets."
Qu Jianlei thought for a mont, then nodded, "Understood, thank you for your guidance."
"No need to thank , everyone experiences confusion at tis," the old lady's voice got quieter.
"No matter how big the issue, the worst that can happen is death. Since you're on this path, maintaining a brave and progressive mindset is crucial."
"Thank you," Qu Jianlei raised his hand in salute, speaking earnestly, "I admire your mindset."
No wonder she dared to advance beyond the Supre; despite being so old, she's still so forthright and open.
After speaking, he accelerated and left.
Granny Jia, however, stood there for a long ti without reacting, finally letting out a light sigh.
"This stance... will things get chaotic again? But that youngster's luck, really... tsk tsk."
Understanding the origin of the Qi Gathering Array in his hands, Qu Jianlei knew what he had to do.
The event had already occurred, he just needed to face it; retreating quietly was absolutely not an option.
Of course, Granny Jia's bold spirit also influenced him—what's the big deal about dying?
So he chose an uninhabited courtyard in the suburbs to hide for five days.
Survival is rely a way to protect oneself and doesn't contradict bravery and progress.
On the sixth day, he boarded the starship to Star No. 3 using a false identity.
He had stayed on Star No. 2 for nearly twenty days; now returning, it was basically ti for the vortex to deliver.
Just as the starship was about to take off, Xiaohu's voice sounded in his consciousness.
"Master, our cave for unlocking the Array had a warning triggered."
"Tsk," Qu Jianlei smacked his lips, feeling speechless for a mont; fortunately, the starship was about to lift off.
It's hard to tell whether this was good luck or bad luck, "What's the probability of it being triggered accidentally?"
"The probability should be quite low," Xiaohu explained softly, "Should we observe whether any other points have been triggered?"
"No need," Qu Jianlei spoke calmly, "I'm about to leave; disconnect from those devices."
"If they can still track after that, then... let them co!"
