Before Fahim ca to deal with Panda, he assessed the strength of the opposing organization.
Kushnier was killed by them, which indicated considerable strength, and Fahim was aware of the entire process of the incident.
Kushnier was ambushed, not only with a violent explosion but also poisoned.
The stacked toxins decomposed quickly, supposedly not leaving too many clues.
However, many people were watching that battle at the ti, and information related to the toxins was eventually obtained by soone.
Therefore, Fahim knew that there was an Awakened with a Poison Attribute within the opposing organization.
But he wasn't too concerned because he himself had a Wood Attribute, which not only provided strong recovery abilities but also very high poison resistance.
The Empire had a theory that Poison Attribute should be a mutation of Wood Attribute.
Just like Ice Attribute is a mutation of Water Attribute, and Stone Attribute is a mutation of Earth Attribute.
This theory has not gained unanimous approval, but the high resistance of Wood Attribute to Poison Attribute is widely acknowledged.
Fahim chose to confront Panda in the middle of the night with no intention of killing, but to capture him alive.
He wanted to find out from Panda who had acquired Kushnier's Storage Talisman, and then negotiate for what his side wanted.
If the person was killed, the clue would be interrupted, as they had no information about any other mbers of the opposing organization besides Panda.
As for artificial intelligence... that thing doesn't really count for much, it's nice to have, but it's okay not to have it.
Desis wanted to seize the Vortex Terminal purely out of his own greed.
Of course, if he could create so entanglents with Panda and then take him down under so pretext, it could further the situation.
So Desis's death was entirely self-inflicted.
Regardless, Fahim had little interest in artificial intelligence; it's not what the Cyan Blade Comrce Association wanted.
However, he was a bit resentful about the death of his partner — that Electromagnetic Attribute Awakened.
But he was not planning to seek revenge urgently; securing the Comrce Association's business was the sensible thing to do first.
Once business was taken care of, he would consider whether to take the other's life.
The Cyan Blade Comrce Association has always advocated for "an eye for an eye," but the opposing organization was strong and needed to be carefully considered.
In short, because his plan was to capture the opponent alive, he chose to infiltrate silently.
Directly confronting and overpowering them could solve the problem decisively, but what if they committed suicide?
The larger the organization, the stricter the control over subordinates. When sothing goes wrong, death is not the worst outco.
Fahim intended to capture the opponent securely.
Before this, he had perceived that there seed to be no one in that courtyard, but could not rule out the possibility of the opponent having ans to conceal their presence.
Having soone present would be ideal, but if not, it didn't matter; however, he couldn't expose that he had been there.
Considering all these factors, he was carefully advancing step by step.
However, very tragically, just after he entered the courtyard, he was shocked to realize: Damn it, I'm poisoned!
He really didn't expect the opponent to have the ability to poison even a Wood Attribute!
Speaking of this poison, it was specially concocted by Qu Jianlei.
When he was on Blue Star, he knew about a pesticide called Paraquat, which specifically targeted plants.
The Empire also has similar pesticides, but they are more segnted, with different agents targeting different harmful plants.
These agents primarily achieve their purpose through genetic suppression.
Qu Jianlei specifically obtained the formula from the small lake, made so himself, and stacked them together.
This stuff is also quite harmful to humans, so he didn't manufacture much, mainly as a precaution.
When to deal with the Supre sent for him, there happened to be one with a Wood Attribute, so he would feel he was wasting his efforts if he didn't use it.
For Blue Star people, the fiber calcification caused by Paraquat is irreversible.
But the Empire's technology level far exceeds that of Blue Star, and it even has ans of limb regeneration, so this poison should not be very deadly.
Qu Jianlei believed it should be even less so for a Superpower Warrior.
However, this poison is absolutely unfriendly to a Wood Attribute Awakened—its targeting is simply too precise.
What left Fahim speechless was that in order to conceal his tracks, he maximized the use of affinity.
When the affinity of Wood Attribute encountered Paraquat... this tragedy really needs no further ntion.
Otherwise, Qu Jianlei wouldn't have already disregarded him and started pondering where Astina was.
Upon realizing he was poisoned, Fahim snorted lightly, then flickered away, directly leaving Yanoye Hotel.
He already realized that this poison was specifically targeting him, so the outco might not be favorable.
The most pressing issue was to find a place to detoxify; if it was really impossible, he would have to go to the hospital.
However, his retreat made Qu Jianlei realize—this guy probably ca alone!
If Astina were supporting him, the Supre wouldn't be so disconcerted.
Qu Jianlei knew his guess might be wrong, but in ordinary tis he could be cautious, and when it's critical, retreat was not an option.
He didn't hesitate to chase after him, then raised his hand and perford a Finger Technique, "Thunder Dragon!"
The Supre's body technique was swift. Even though Fahim was poisoned, Qu Jianlei couldn't catch up with him, even with the blessing of the Wind Attribute.
However, no matter how fast the Supre's body technique was, it couldn't be faster than lightning—a bolt struck him squarely.
But unfortunately, as he retreated violently, he donned Wood Armor.
At the level of the Supre, many techniques were nearly instantaneous, taking very little ti, just like Fahim's Wood Armor.
So the bolt of Thunder Dragon didn't cause him much harm; instead, it felt more insulting.
Yet, Fahim couldn't afford to worry about such things. After wearing the Wood Armor, the poison took effect even more severely.
As he was about to continue retreating, he suddenly felt a sharp tremor in his head, and his consciousness turned fuzzy.
A...ntal attack? Fahim was montarily shocked and shouted desperately, "This is a misunderstanding!"
It wasn't just about cherishing life; he was also very clear about what an A-level Spiritual Attribute entailed.
The Cyan Blade Comrce Association had previous entanglents with the military; they absolutely didn't want to offend the military again.
To hell with misunderstandings! Qu Jianlei's body lunged forward, directly throwing an Electromagnetic Shocking Flash Bomb.
The bomb obtained from Kushnier exploded upon impact, engulfing him in intense white light.
Worried the opponent would reveal his Spiritual Attribute, he imdiately launched another ntal attack, then a second...
While executing the ntal attacks, he clad himself in Rock Armor.
Then he pulled out a canister of stacked Paraquat, tossed it over, controlling it to explode above the opponent's head, "Boom!"
Fahim was about to die from frustration.
His spiritual power wasn't inferior, comparable to the opponent's, and though he was caught off guard, he believed the other must also be suffering.
However, the opponent was hell-bent on mutual destruction, relentlessly attacking, leaving him no chance to speak.
Worse, the opponent even threw poison at him, and he had no better ans of countering it.
If he discarded the Wood Armor, the opponent wouldn't even need a ntal attack—a sniper rifle would be enough to take him down.
Yet, clad in Wood Armor, the poisoning accelerated incredibly fast; he doubted he could last ten minutes.
At this mont, he deeply regretted that he should have invited Astina along if he had known it would be like this.
In fact, Astina had asked him if she should accompany him.
But Fahim also had his pride, claiming it wasn't necessary.
What a joke, to deal with a re Modified Warrior, was it necessary for two Supres to go together?
Even now, he didn't think he was dealing with a Panda—this was using a Panda as bait to set a trap!
At this mont, his only hope was that this commotion would attract intervention from other Supres.
As for Astina, she was thirty kiloters away, and it would take at least three minutes for her to arrive.
At that mont, an imnse spiritual power descended, "Is this never going to end?"
It was the sa Supre who appeared when Qu Jianlei killed Kushnier before.
The Supre recognized the Electromagnetic Shocking Flash Bomb—it was highly distinctive, and also recognized so of Qu Jianlei's features.
He was quite displeased: Are you addicted to killing Supres?
Seeing the unfavorable situation, Qu Jianlei imdiately used the Quicksand Technique, then threw two more canisters of stacked Paraquat, "Boom!"
He then decisively fled, flashing to a riverbank and diving into the water, vanishing.
He wasn't sure if he had killed the opponent, but he truly couldn't hold on any longer.
Fighting in a bustling city, especially against a Supre at such intensity, was too provocative to the dignity of the Guardian Supre.
As for not gaining any spoils, it was even more helpless— not every battle would yield ample rewards.
Fahim, however, was even more unfortunate. Under normal circumstances, the re Quicksand Technique wouldn't even catch his eye.
Let alone a Supre, even an A-level could fly; who would care about quicksand?
But now he was poisoned and under continuous ntal attacks, dizzy and lightheaded, unable to form even a decent Finger Technique.
Feeling his legs sink into the quicksand, he subconsciously conjured a Wooden Shield, then imdiately dispelled it.
As soon as the Wooden Shield ca out, poisoning accelerated... this poison is wicked!
Just as he was about to fall into a stupor, a voice sounded, "Fahim, how are you holding up?"
One had to admit, this Electromagnetic Shocking Flash Bomb concocted by Kushnier was truly unfriendly to Supres.
Not to ntion the long-lasting duration, the electromagnetic and white light could strongly affect one's perception.
Astina had arrived, but she didn't dare to enter recklessly.
She had perceived that soone had just jumped into the river and escaped, but who knew...if there were still enemies within?
The longer soone lived in the underworld, the more cautious they beca. She had lived long enough and seen all kinds of ghostly fiend tricks.
Fahim's strength wasn't much less than hers, yet he was so thoroughly played; she wouldn't fall for it recklessly.
"Forget it, you hang on, I'll go after the one who jumped into the river."
I'm damn well about to collapse! Inside, Fahim was filled with despair...
