Claire played the role of a pretentious fox borrowing the tiger’s might very well, a bit of a smug veneer, but not entirely off-putting.

However, she complained about "what kind of hellhole this is," seemingly disliking the environnt, yet she still waited patiently for two days.

Two days later ca the big market. Although she didn’t buy anything, it was still nice to enjoy the lively atmosphere.

The other three were the sa, not participating in any market transactions, but they watched online trading all day long.

The marketplace here is actually quite similar to the stalls on the Garbage Star.

Of course, online trading is indeed sothing new, but for them, the main focus is still on the tangible goods themselves.

The natives from Garbage Star hadn’t even heard of many of the materials, so many high-tech products nearly dazzled their eyes.

Luckily, Qu Jianlei had given them a heads-up, reminding them to maintain the supre appearance by not placing any orders.

Otherwise, they might have been tempted to buy so of the rare items.

After the market, the shabby 8384 took off and headed straight for the Transfer Star.

Upon landing, Qu Jianlei led the four people out, and the guards surprisingly let them pass without a hitch.

After walking a bit, Xiao Qin couldn’t help but exclaim, "Boss, your spiritual secret skill... it’s really effective."

Qu Jianlei shook his head and calmly replied, "Nothing is infallible; the guards here are just more relaxed."

Even though he had a team, he constantly reminded himself not to get too complacent and to remain highly vigilant.

Because he knew very well that he couldn’t afford to lose.

Claire carelessly said, "Boss, this place is just like winter on the Garbage Star, are we going to settle here?"

Qu Jianlei raised his hand and flicked her forehead lightly, "How can that place compare to here? Let take you to see sothing new."

Then he rented a car and took the four of them straight to the Elf House.

The five of them weren’t poorly dressed, but in such a high-end place, they seed a bit underdressed.

Fortunately, in the mix of elites and commoners on the Transfer Star, snobbery isn’t often seen.

Qu Jianlei ordered a table full of dishes, and after seeing the nu, the four of them exchanged glances but said nothing.

"Are we eating food, or devouring silver notes here?"

After the al, Qu Jianlei booked two suites for them to rest, he shared one with Bentley, and the other three shared another.

The rookies went off to enjoy the high-end services, while Qu Jianlei lit a cigarette and took out a watch to fiddle with.

"Little Lake, get in touch with Sheriff."

Big Head Butterfly twirled its body around a couple of tis, "Sheriff? Not in Smurf Village, oh, just left three days ago."

"Tsk," Qu Jianlei clicked his tongue, "Left neither sooner nor later."

Then he called over a waiter, "I need to arrange for so fake identities, how much will it be?"

The waiter replied respectfully, "Honorable sir, we conduct legitimate business here."

"Cut the crap," Qu Jianlei glanced at him indifferently, "Looks like I’ll have to find another person to assist ."

Rembering the hefty tip he had just received, the waiter squeezed out a smile, "Sir, do you have a referral?"

Qu Jianlei pulled out a five hundred card coin, and said blandly, "Will this do?"

The last ti he had dinner with Sheriff here, he heard about the tipping at the Elf House, knowing five hundred was the cap.

Of course, so tycoons would tip even more, but that was just to show off their wealth.

By giving the capped amount, he hinted he was a regular, while anything excessive might backfire.

"Well... sorry," the waiter chuckled awkwardly, "May I ask where you’re heading?"

"Of course, to Celestial Blade Star," Qu Jianlei replied casually, "Don’t want people to know we’re entering."

"You can board a private starship," the waiter said respectfully, "Round trip, just at a slightly higher price."

"Is that so?" Qu Jianlei’s eyes brightened up, Why didn’t I know about this before, such a service existed?

Big Head Butterfly twirled its body again, speaking softly, "Boss, these details aren’t online, you can’t find them."

"Of course not," Qu Jianlei didn’t mind and continued asking the waiter, "Can we get to Celestial Handle Star?"

The waiter answered courteously, "You’d also have to transfer at Celestial Blade, going directly from here... would stand out."

Qu Jianlei tossed the card coin to the waiter, "Get five round-trip tickets to Celestial Handle."

"Certainly, thank you, sir," the waiter received the card coin joyfully, bobbing out of the room.

It wasn’t long before he brought back five cards, "These are open-date tickets, and there are specific-date ones available, those are cheaper."

Bentley ca out just after a shower and asked, "How much for date-specific, and how much for open-date?"

The cost for a private starship is anything but cheap—fifteen thousand for date-specific round trips, and twenty thousand for open-dated ones.

The waiter clearly brought back the open-dated tickets, trying to make a little extra—isn’t it true that a big boss like you doesn’t lack money?

"Then this one will do," Qu Jianlei took out a stack of silver notes, counted out a hundred, and casually laid down another five hundred card coin.

"Keep your mouth shut, alright?"

"Rest assured!" The waiter kept nodding and bowing, "Our service is professional, it’s good for the guests, and good for us."

Soone willing to spend two hundred thousand on a ticket is definitely not soone he can afford to betray.

After he left, Bentley was dumbfounded and asked, "That’s... a million already? How much is an ordinary ticket?"

Qu Jianlei thought for a mont and replied, "Around eight thousand to thirty thousand, but I’m not very sure."

It’s a bit funny to say, he’s traveled the interstellar for so many years, and he’s only ever bought a ticket properly once.

And that one ti, he was still hijacked by star thieves halfway through.

Bentley was taken aback by this and shook his head, "Really... so rich."

"Peace of mind, isn’t it?" Qu Jianlei replied casually, "It’s rare to take you guys out for a trip, let’s avoid those annoying things."

Bentley hesitated for a mont and spoke, "All these years, just how much have you earned, and it’s still not enough?"

"Sigh," Qu Jianlei sighed at this, now with only old friends around, he didn’t hide it.

"Besides the tangible assets, it’s about three hundred million in silver notes, not really enough, especially with enemies..."

Facing the old friend, he really had nothing to hide, recounting his experiences over the years, picking out the important parts.

Bentley listened, dumbfounded, and after a long pause, sighed, "If it were , I don’t know how many tis I’d have died."

"It’s more exciting than the Garbage Star," Qu Jianlei smiled indifferently, "so I’m still on the run."

After resting for a night, Qu Jianlei took the four of them and left for his "manor."

He didn’t plan to head to the Celestial Handle Star imdiately, since there’s no ti limit, going later could be more confusing.

Upon arrival, he rembered the odd feeling he had before, and asked them to wait outside the cave.

He went in and thoroughly checked again but found nothing unusual.

Then he turned on the ventilation and heating before bringing the four in.

After looking around, Flower Scorpion had a strange expression on her face, "Boss, is this your land... or a secret vault?"

It’s not that she despised the secret vault, but building a secret vault on one’s own land... felt a bit odd sohow.

"This place is a mix of dragons and snakes," Qu Jianlei replied casually, "Keeping a low profile is better."

Everyone knew this was another base, so they couldn’t help but tidy it up, spending a few days.

After that, Qu Jianlei set up the Qi Gathering Array for the four to cultivate, while he protected the area and observed the surroundings.

The four cultivated for five days, and Bentley completely replenished his depletion, with his cultivation level faintly touching the B-level peak.

He voluntarily stopped cultivating, "I feel like I’ve hit a bottleneck, I could settle down and break through to A-level, right?"

Qu Jianlei wouldn’t casually probe a teammate’s cultivation level, only now when the other party asked did he carefully perceive.

Then he was shocked, "Wow, old man, you’re this old and progressing so quickly?"

"I’ve told you, I’m a genius," Bentley answered proudly, "If I hadn’t been held back, I’d have reached Supre long ago."

Qu Jianlei nodded, "Then settle down a bit, the team will soon have an electromagnetic A-level, just thinking about it makes happy... hmm?"

The vague, uneasy feeling appeared again, but when he looked around, he still found nothing.

He almost thought he was hallucinating, "Old man, do you feel anything?"

Bentley replied, "I feel... with the help of this Qi Gathering Array, there’s a chance in my lifeti to hit Supre!"

"Well... that’s not bad," Qu Jianlei smiled.

After resting for five days, the four began to return, with Qu Jianlei saying he still needed to be busy around, and they arranged a eting spot.

Anyway, he’s Supre, traveling is much faster.

Once everyone left, Qu Jianlei sighed and spoke solemnly, "Sir, care to co out and chat?"

He said this with a bit of a bluff, he wasn’t sure if there were hidden experts around.

In the past, he road alone, even if he had doubts, he just kept on guard.

As long as he could fight, he fought, if he couldn’t, he risked his life, often developing self-destructive tendencies traveling alone.

He didn’t disrespect life, but if he really couldn’t fight, being cautious wouldn’t help, would it?

But now with a team, it’s different, he must ensure the safety of the team mbers and clear lurking risks as much as possible.

The cave was quiet, with faint echoes.

"In that case, then I won’t be polite," Qu Jianlei began collecting materials, "I’m going to abandon this place."

The cave had just been organized by everyone, he didn’t stop before purely worrying the other party might suddenly attack, and he couldn’t protect them.

No choice, the unease ca after old man finished cultivating, leading to the heart-palpitation feeling.

This land cost him so money, but that money wasn’t even as much as a trip to Celestial Handle Star.

His serious effort on this land, that was much more valuable.

(Updated until now, monthly tickets, subscriptions, and recomndation tickets are summoned.)
