It was late at night, and Lin Fan was too lazy to drive to the gas station, so he decided to refuel tomorrow and opted to take the bus instead.

"I haven't taken a bus in ages. How about we take the bus back, what do you think?" Lin Fan suggested with a smile.

Wei Yue'er replied, "Sure."

Lin Fan hadn't taken a bus in a long ti, while Wei Yue'er had almost never taken one. As the sister of the richest man in Jiangnan, she never needed to squeeze onto a bus.

Back when Lin Fan was working, he took the bus every day, but since he beca a delivery driver, he hadn't taken it much, mostly riding an electric scooter. He kind of missed those days.

So, the two of them got out of the car, walked out of the Company, and headed to the nearest bus stop.

Since it was almost ten o'clock in the evening, there weren't many people on the bus, and they managed to get seats.

Lin Fan said, "Let's first stop at the comrcial street ahead for dinner, and then see. If it's too late, we'll take a cab back."

Wei Yue'er happily agreed, "Okay."

As long as she could be with Lin Fan, she was willing to do anything, even taking the bus. And having dinner with Lin Fan was even more pleasing to her.

On the bus, feeling a bit bored, the two chatted casually.

"Yue'er, without realizing it, you've been my assistant for a while now. How have you been finding it? Are you getting used to it?" Lin Fan asked with a smile.

Wei Yue'er said, "I am. It's the job I love."

Lin Fan said, "My expectations of you are not just for you to be my assistant. With your talent, you can do much more, like when you helped acquire the Yun City Football Club. You did a great job."

Lin Fan assigned so important tasks to Wei Yue'er to allow her to use her strengths and potentially take on a more significant role in the Company, rather than just being his personal assistant.

However, Wei Yue'er had her own thoughts. She didn't have much ambition when it ca to work. If she were a career-driven person, with her background, she could have managed several companies by now.

She had no pursuit of a career because she had been worry-free since birth and didn't need to hustle for life and business like regular workers.

She could do whatever she wanted freely, like the ti she went to a mountain village alone to do volunteer teaching.

And now that she was Lin Fan's assistant, her goal wasn't to climb the corporate ladder but simply to be close to Lin Fan and stay by his side.

"But..." Wei Yue'er said, "Actually, just being your assistant is enough for . I don't have any great ambitions... but if you ask to do sothing, I'll do my best."

Since Lin Fan had higher expectations for her, she wouldn't go against him. Whatever Lin Fan wanted her to do, she would do it.

Lin Fan chuckled, "You're a top student who studied abroad; I fear your talent might be underused."

Wei Yue'er quickly responded, "No, not at all..."

As she spoke, she blushed a little.

Just then, the bus arrived at a stop, and a middle-aged auntie with a large dog got on.

"I'm sorry, dogs aren't allowed on the bus," the driver imdiately stopped her, not allowing the auntie on because her dog was quite large, not a harmless small pet dog.

The dog only had a leash, without other protective asures. It was quite dangerous to have it on the bus, so the driver stopped her right away, preventing the auntie from boarding.

The auntie had already boarded, and the bus driver stated that dogs couldn't be on board, aning she and her dog needed to get off.

As soon as the auntie and the dog got on, they drew the attention of the other passengers. Everyone showed wary expressions, cautious of the dog, which created so tension. The dog indeed posed so psychological pressure on everyone.

When the auntie heard that her dog couldn't be on the bus, her face imdiately darkened, "What did you say? Are you saying my dog can't be on the bus? Do you even hear yourself?"

The bus driver said, "It's not allowed, that's the rule. If you want to ride, you can't bring your dog. Look how dangerous your dog is. How can we ensure the safety of other passengers?"

The auntie said, "What safety? With so many people, are you really afraid of a dog? Besides, my dog is well-behaved and won't bite anyone!"

"Woof woof..."

Just then, the big dog suddenly started barking at a child on the bus!

The child was being held by an adult, holding a bread in hand, which had at inside. The aroma was noticeable, and it was clear the dog slled it and barked at the child, seemingly asking for food.

The child was startled and suddenly cried out loud.

The other passengers were also taken aback by the dog's sudden barking.

The auntie claid her dog was well-behaved, but that was imdiately contradicted. How could it be well-behaved?

"Enough, take your dog and leave, it's scaring people here. Don't you understand that? This dog shouldn't even be on the bus!" The driver reprimanded the auntie, urging her to get off.

The auntie sneered, "Scaring? Why are you all so cowardly? My dog just saw food and barked twice. It's gentle and won't attack, so why should it be kicked off?"

"Why? Because it's an animal, not a person. I can't let it be on the bus, threatening other passengers. Do you understand? Get off!" The driver was getting angry.

The auntie also flared up, "Nonsense! I said my dog is fine. Why are you all being so fussy? I won't get off. Let's see what you can do about it."

Hearing this, the passengers were displeased; the auntie was being unreasonable. Wasn't this being unreasonable?

"Get off the bus. Look, you've scared the kid to tears!"

"Exactly, so uncivilized, knowing well that dogs aren't allowed, yet bringing such a big dog on board."

"If it were a small pet dog, it might be okay, but such a fierce dog, what if it bites soone, can you take responsibility?"

"Stop talking, just get off the bus! Really!"

The passengers all started to complain, urging the auntie to get off.

The auntie was furious, shouting, "Shut up, all of you! Why are you all being so picky? Even the guys, aren't you ashad of being scared of a dog?"

"Furthermore, I already said my dog is gentle and won't bite anyone, but you refuse to believe it!"

"Don't think you're so noble just because you're human. Taking the bus, what kind of superior people are you? Just lowly commoners, poor people not worth much, even less than my dog. My dog cost 5,000 yuan to buy; can you afford it? In my eyes, you all aren't worth as much!"

The more the auntie ranted, the more agitated she beca, pointing and cursing at everyone.

At this point, another person got on the bus, a limping uncle.

Upon seeing the limping uncle, Lin Fan and Wei Yue'er were surprised. It was quite a coincidence; the limping uncle was Wu Da!

"Hey, you old hag, they said no dogs on the bus, can't you shut up?" Wu Da couldn't stand it anymore and said.

"What did you call ?" The auntie imdiately got furious, pointing at Wu Da's nose and cursing, "You la bastard..."
