The custor is naturally not at fault, if it can’t be delivered to the gate, asking to co fetch it undermines my reason for ordering delivery; might as well go out and pack it myself.

However, even so, for a security guard to hit a delivery guy over a disagreent is still wrong.
This security guard perhaps feared losing his job, fearing for his salary, acted impulsively, but he’s still wrong; he could have just shut the door, blocking the delivery guy’s entry. He could even have used his body to block, but shouldn’t have used a baton to hit.
