A young woman in work attire hurriedly ran to the entrance, looking around as if searching for sothing.
"Security guard brother, have you seen a handso young man arrive?" the young woman promptly asked the security guard.
The security guard replied, "A handso young man? Well, there was a delivery guy here earlier, quite handso. At first, I thought he was here to deliver food and didn’t let him in, but he said he was waiting for soone."
The young woman laughed, "That’s him, Mr. Lin. The information says he’s a deliveryman. Where did he go?"
The security guard said, "He went inside. A group of people just ca, including a property owner who’s apparently his friend, and they brought him in."
The young woman was surprised; so Mr. Lin actually has friends here.
"Do you know who his friend, the property owner, is?" the young woman asked.
The security guard said, "I do. I helped her deliver sothing upstairs before. She lives on the 10th floor of Building C, Miss He. Miss Chen, why are you looking for this delivery guy?"
The young woman said, "I’m the one he’s waiting for; he’s the property owner here."
The security guard’s expression changed, blurting out, "What, he’s the property owner?"
A delivery guy, actually an owner in Tangchen Yipin? That’s unbelievable.
The young woman revealed a mysterious smile, "He’s not just any property owner; he bought an entire building here."
"Huh?"
The security guard was petrified on the spot.
At this mont, the 10th floor of Building C.
Chen Sikai suddenly spoke, shifting everyone’s attention to Lin Fan.
"Lin Fan was Little Fang’s middle school classmate and had a crush on her. Lin Fan, is this true?" Chen Sikai looked at Lin Fan with an amused expression.
After hearing this from He Xiaofang, Chen Sikai imdiately decided to et Lin Fan.
Lin Fan, with a calm face, said, "It’s true."
He Xiaofang was indeed the idol of his middle school days. Everyone has a fondness for beauty, especially during such innocent tis, so he didn’t feel ashad and had no reason to hide it.
Everyone was initially surprised, but then started laughing.
"No way, he liked Little Fang?"
"This is hilarious, a deliveryman not weighing his worth!"
"What qualifications does he have compared to Sikai; they’re worlds apart!"
"He’s like a frog wanting to eat swan at!"
Chen Sikai’s actions put He Xiaofang in an awkward position. She hadn’t anticipated Chen Sikai would bring this up publicly; had she known, she wouldn’t have told him.
"Lin Fan only liked back in middle school; it’s nothing serious. We haven’t seen each other for years, and although I knew he secretly liked , I only regarded him as an ordinary classmate and never had that kind of thought for him," He Xiaofang explained.
Her explanation seed to defend Lin Fan, but the focus was on the latter part, emphasizing that it was purely a one-sided affection from Lin Fan.
Everyone laughed even more.
"I knew it, he was just deluding himself!"
"This poor guy could only crush on a great beauty!"
"Little Fang has such good taste, she’d never go for him."
"It’s right Little Fang doesn’t like him; she has such a perfect boyfriend like Sikai now, living in a billion-dollar mansion that makes others envious."
Listening to this, He Xiaofang quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully she clarified things in ti; if people misunderstood her as liking Lin Fan too, it would be so embarrassing, especially since Lin Fan is a deliveryman she really looks down upon.
But Chen Sikai obviously didn’t plan to stop at this, saying, "Lin Fan, do you still like Little Fang now?"
His words turned everyone’s attention to Lin Fan, waiting for him to answer. He Xiaofang was also watching Lin Fan, a bit anxious, worried Lin Fan might say he still likes her.
If Lin Fan said he still liked her, the ridicule from everyone would surely intensify.
Considering He Xiaofang now has a boyfriend, none other than the incredible Chen Sikai, it’s clear Lin Fan can’t compete with Chen Sikai on any front, having no standing to challenge him for He Xiaofang.
"What are you thinking? Little Fang already has an excellent boyfriend like Sikai. If a deliveryman had any self-awareness, he’d know better than to try!" soone couldn’t resist saying.
Lin Fan looked at Chen Sikai, amused. Clearly, this person was upset learning about his old crush on He Xiaofang, eager to humiliate him publicly.
On the surface, Lin Fan did seem like soone easily suppressed by this situation.
Lin Fan smiled, "Do you want to hear the truth?"
Lin Fan’s attitude annoyed Chen Sikai, who did harbor resentnt and even a hint of suspicion about Lin Fan and He Xiaofang’s relationship.
"Of course, go ahead and say it truthfully. There’s nothing wrong with liking soone, especially since you’re just a deliveryman and I’m the Great Huaxia Region’s president for Sile International. Surely, I wouldn’t fear you as a rival?" Chen Sikai chuckled.
Everyone laughed at Chen Sikai’s words.
Lin Fan’s gaze fell on He Xiaofang, "Then I’ll be honest. Despite all these years, I haven’t forgotten you. After seeing you again last night, I didn’t sleep well. I’ve realized how deeply I still love you."
That wasn’t true, though; the childish infatuation had long vanished. But Chen Sikai’s provocation made Lin Fan want to annoy him, knowing those words would surely upset him.
Sure enough, Chen Sikai’s face turned cold, feeling extrely disgruntled. Were it not for years of cultivated restraint, he might have wanted to hit Lin Fan.

A re deliveryman liking his girlfriend felt offensive to him.
Lin Fan’s words also surprised the others.
He Xiaofang was especially shocked, "Lin Fan..."
She truly hadn’t expected Lin Fan to still like her after so many years; he was too sentintal!
If she’d known, she wouldn’t have invited Lin Fan over last night. The scene now was just too awkward.
"He’s really a frog wishing for swan at!"
"No self-awareness at all; how dare he like Little Fang?"
"Social bottom-dweller through and through, utter lack of decorum, saying such things before her boyfriend!"
"Is he attempting to swoop in and steal her?"
"Laughable, as if he could! Sikai has a billion-dollar mansion, and what does he have, a beat-up e-bike?"
Everyone mocked without restraint.
Lin Fan seed oblivious to the ridicule, rely observing Chen Sikai with amusent as his intent was fulfilled seeing Chen Sikai’s displeased face.
Chen Sikai contained his displeasure, outwardly acting indifferent, saying, "Haha, didn’t expect you to be so sentintal, but it’s unfortunate because Little Fang is my girlfriend now. You should give up. Little Fang, your thoughts?"
He Xiaofang, realizing Chen Sikai’s apparent irritation, was sowhat anxious. She couldn’t let Lin Fan ruin her relationship with Chen Sikai.
"Lin Fan, after so many years, why do you still like ? Why bother?" He Xiaofang said, a bit exasperated.
