As the afternoon class ti approached, Sumire hastily changed her clothes and bolted out of the room, her mind a complete ss.
Playing together like that... Isn’t that way too progressive? Was she really getting old? Had she already lost touch with how young people thought these days?
And another thing—who the hell was Chiba’s girlfriend? With such... unusual ideas, she was probably so delinquent girl with ties to people outside of school, right?
Shuichi watched as Sumire rushed off in a panic, chuckling to himself as he shook his head. Then, without much thought, he casually picked up another fever suppository.
By the ti Naomi returned right as class was about to start, the infirmary was completely empty. The only sign of the earlier chaos was the fallen curtain on the floor.
"Things got that intense?" Naomi took a small breath, then turned her gaze toward the desk.
"Hmm? Another fever suppository is missing?" She frowned. "dicine isn’t a toy, you know. Seriously, you’re both adults—how do you still not get this? I really need to have a word with her."
Shaking her head, she let out a sigh.
...
Soti after 2 PM, at a beauty salon.
Yurika Fujiwara sat gracefully in the waiting area, flipping through a beauty magazine. Her posture was impeccable, her expression serene, and her aura exuded elegance.
The two ladies nearby, who had just finished their spa treatnts and were chatting idly, instinctively lowered their voices, not wanting to disturb such a distinguished-looking woman.
Just then, Fumika erged from the massage room and approached Yurika with a warm, familiar smile.
"Fujiwara-san, thank you for waiting. Please, co with ."
Yurika set down the magazine and gave a gentle smile. "Thank you for your trouble."
The two of them entered the massage room, one following the other. Yurika first took a bath to cleanse her body, allowing her muscles to relax and improving blood circulation.
This would enhance the effects of the essential oil spa treatnt.
Draped in a pristine white bathrobe, she followed Fumika’s guidance and lay down on the massage bed.
During the ti Yurika was bathing, Fumika had already prepared everything. The massage room was bathed in soft lighting, with soothing music playing in the background, creating an atmosphere of pure relaxation and tranquility.
Fumika poured a small amount of blended essential oil into her palm, warming it between her hands before gently applying it to Yurika’s forehead and cheeks.
Yurika closed her eyes, relaxing as she casually struck up a conversation. "Fumika, your skin and complexion have noticeably improved lately. Have you been using any new skincare products?"
"Eh?" Fumika was montarily startled before flushing slightly. "N-No, nothing like that. I’m still using the sa products you’re familiar with."
Yurika didn’t doubt her for a second. She had been a longti client of the Ogawa sisters and knew their personalities well.
Fumika was always sincere—if she recomnded a skincare product to a client, it was because she had personally used it and genuinely found it effective.
If Fumika ever found a great product, she never kept it to herself—even if she didn’t profit from it. She would always recomnd clients to buy the best products elsewhere.
That honesty was exactly why loyal custors kept coming back.
"Then... could it be that you’re in love?" Yurika teased playfully. The two were quite familiar with each other—she had always treated Fumika like a younger sister, so a joke like this wasn’t out of place.
"I-I... um..." Fumika was caught off guard, instantly flustered. She didn’t want to lie, but at the sa ti, she wasn’t sure how to explain.
"No need to get nervous, I was just making a casual remark. I’m not prying." Yurika reassured her, gently patting the back of her hand.
Fumika let out a quiet sigh of relief and continued her work.
Starting from Yurika’s forehead and face, she slowly worked her way down to her shoulders and neck. Wiping a bit of fine sweat from her own forehead, Fumika gently reminded her, "Fujiwara-san, it’s ti to massage your back."
"Alright..." Yurika, so relaxed she was nearly drifting off, murmured in response. She lazily undid her bathrobe, revealing her fair and elegant mature figure, and effortlessly turned over with practiced ease.
Every movent was effortlessly captivating.
"Your technique seems to have improved quite a bit. It feels even better than before."
"Eh? Really? I’m so glad! So other clients have ntioned that too, but hearing it from you, Fujiwara-san, makes even happier." Fumika bead with joy.
"Yes, it’s a noticeable improvent. It seems like moving your shop was truly the right choice for you two. Everything is getting better..."
As Yurika spoke, a hint of loneliness and envy flickered across her face.
Neither of them spoke after that. The only sound in the tranquil massage room was the soft lody of a piano piece, filling the space with a peaceful calm.
When the spa treatnt was finally complete, Yurika, completely at ease, sat up without the slightest hesitation—her upper body still bare.
She habitually walked over to the mirror, gazing at the reflection of her alluring, mature figure radiating an undeniable charm.
But suddenly, a flicker of doubt crossed her face.
Unable to resist, she leaned in closer, carefully examining herself. After a mont, she finally confird it wasn’t just her imagination. Turning back, she asked Fumika,
"Fumika, are you sure you haven’t been using any new products? Because I feel like today’s treatnt is much more effective than usual."
After all, the spa she ca for today wasn’t a hydrating skincare treatnt—it was ant for relaxation. While it did have so beauty benefits, its primary purpose was to ease the body and mind.
But how could the effects be even better than a dedicated hydration treatnt?
If it were a man, he probably wouldn’t notice the difference—just like how most n see all lipstick shades as the sa.
But for won, even the slightest change was impossible to miss.
Though Yurika wasn’t overly obsessed with beauty treatnts and had no particular anxieties about aging, she was still perceptive about such things. Most of the ti, she chose spa treatnts for relaxation, but that didn’t an she was unaware of their effects.
Hearing her question, Fumika hesitated, unsure how to explain. "So other clients have also ntioned that the results feel better, but I really haven’t changed any products. The essential oils and everything else are the sa ones you’re familiar with, Fujiwara-san."
"Could it really just be an improvent in technique?" Yurika still found it a bit unbelievable.
Her gaze swept over the cart holding the spa products. Everything there was indeed familiar—nothing new. Even the scent of the essential oils had been the sa as always.
Then, she glanced around the room and suddenly noticed sothing different.
This interior design... there’s sothing to it.
"So that’s it." A realization dawned on her, and she felt as if she had uncovered the truth.
"Fujiwara-san?" Fumika looked at her, puzzled.
Yurika smiled. "I an, the interior design here is quite special. It maximizes the effect on a person’s perception, making them unconsciously feel relaxed and at peace. Combined with your improved technique, Fumika, that’s probably why the essential oil massage feels exceptionally effective."
"The design, huh?" Fumika’s face unconsciously lit up with a sweet smile, her expression full of warmth.
"The renovation team this ti was truly amazing. Even Sayuki, who’s usually so strong-willed, was easily convinced by the designer."
"A lot of the design choices ended up being different from what Sayuki and I originally planned, but the results turned out fantastic."
"Oh?" Yurika looked at her with amusent, easily noticing the joy practically overflowing from her. "Who was the designer? Must be soone quite famous?"
"I don’t really know much about that field," Fumika admitted. "I just know her na is..."
She ntioned a na.
Yurika’s expression changed slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing her face.
This female designer wasn’t widely known among the general public, but she was far from ordinary. She wasn’t soone just anyone could hire—
Even she couldn’t.
