"Orin-sama is actually coming to the Golden City?!!"
Stella opened her mouth in surprise.
"Yeah~"
Tesoro replied casually, seeming not particularly surprised by Orin’s arrival. After all, the Gran Tesoro was known as the paradise of the strong and the rich, a place where all earthly pleasures could be found. It was perfectly normal for soone like Orin, who enjoyed indulgence, to co here, right? And put another way, isn’t it precisely because Orin is coming that the Gran Tesoro becos even safer and more stable?
Tesoro’s hand, covered in gold rings, suddenly clenched tightly, a playful smile on his face.
"It can’t be that because Orin-san arrives, the Gran Tesoro and I will beco even more dangerous, right?"
"Hahahahaha!!!"
A nearby lackey, seemingly trying to liven up the mood, very proactively laughed at this obvious reverse joke. But after laughing for a bit, he realized sothing was wrong, cold sweat seeping down his face, because aside from him, there was no other laughter at all.
When he turned his head, as expected, Tesoro was calmly looking at him. Tesoro poured the wine from his cup onto the ground, then crossed his fingers and looked down at the lackey.
"Can you answer a question?"
"Why did you dare to laugh before I did~???"
"Who is it that decides what can be laughed at in this city~"
The little lackey was terrified and hurriedly answered,
"That would of course be Orin-sama... and Tesoro-sama!!!"
Hearing this, Tesoro’s eyelids twitched as he gave the lackey a aningful look. Quite a smooth talker. In principle, there was nothing wrong with that answer, because the people ntioned in it were the principle itself. Trying to make it so I can’t single you out?
"Is that so, seems you understand~"
Tesoro took off one of the rings on his hand, making as if to throw it. Controlling gold to kill was Tesoro’s usual way of dealing with those who defied him.
"Tesoro!!!"
Seeing this, Stella, unable to bear it, reached out, wanting to grab the ring back. She was kind and gentle by nature; otherwise she wouldn’t have fallen in love with the once down-and-out poor boy Tesoro. But before she could even get up, several sparks from gold rubbing against gold appeared in Tesoro’s hand. The gold ring on Stella’s left ring finger changed shape and pulled her down; Tesoro reached out and caught her.
"For the sake of the child in your belly, you should be a bit more considerate, Stella."
Tesoro said with a smile,
"Take Stella back to rest."
"Yes!!!"
Stella was bound by the gold ring on her left ring finger, and even though she wanted to say sothing, she could only withdraw helplessly. In many cases, she was powerless to change Tesoro’s drastically altered personality after becoming rich. As a pregnant woman, all she could do now was protect the crystallization of love between her and Tesoro.
...
On a distant sea, a gigantic divine bird flew in the sky, sweeping up storms and tsunamis. Its sharp eyes locked onto the enormous golden ship shadow moving on the sea in the distance, and it began to dive downward.
At the entrance strait of the Gran Tesoro, countless of Tesoro’s subordinates were driving away the ships and people lingering there.
"Get lost already!!! Can’t you hear , bastard!!!"
"How many tis do I have to repeat it!!!"
The lackeys held guns, threatening a lingering noble cruise ship. A king of a New World nation was on that cruise ship, having just arrived at the Gran Tesoro. Hearing the lackeys’ shouting, he imdiately flew into a rage,
"What are you people rushing for!!!"
"I’m a king!!! I’m here to spend money!!!"
This was the first ti he had ever seen official service staff in the service industry treat custors like this.
Not far from this royal cruise ship was a peculiar, lavish vessel flying the World Governnt’s flag. A fellow with a bubble helt on his head, swaying as he moved, also heard the lackeys’ shouts.
"Those worm-like lowlifes, what are they making such a racket about~"
"Reporting to Saint Hamoel, it’s Tesoro’s subordinates, driving away all ships and personnel from the harbor!!!"
After hearing this, the wobbling Celestial Dragon lost interest, or rather found it perfectly normal. Wasn’t it only right? To welco him, this noble Celestial Dragon, Tesoro should of course drive away those other lowly creatures of the lower realm. That fellow really knew his place~
"Excuse , even the World Governnt’s ship over there, please leave the center of the harbor imdiately!!!"
But the very next second, the lackeys’ voices ca over. Though their attitude had softened sowhat, their intent to expel was extrely firm. This instantly shocked the Celestial Dragon and World Governnt personnel on board, who imdiately burst into curses,
"Lowly trash, do you even know who you’re talking to!!!"
"I am a descendant of the gods, a Celestial Dragon..."
And Tesoro’s subordinates, seeing the Celestial Dragon popping up on the deck, remained utterly calm. A Celestial Dragon... so what? What’s so special about Celestial Dragons? But they wouldn’t argue with Celestial Dragons, nor would they make a move. They simply, in the midst of the cursing, said coolly,
"This is to welco Orin-sama."
"..."
Hearing this na suddenly, whether Celestial Dragons or World Governnt people, all froze in place, because they thought of that Celestial Dragon who, nominally, had died of illness on Duramos Island, but in reality had been stomped to death by Orin with a single kick. Not a single word dared to be uttered. The Celestial Dragon’s ship left the center of the harbor.
And such reactions didn’t seem to surprise Tesoro’s subordinates in the slightest. They curled their lips lightly and continued their clearing work, until that gigantic bird wreathed in storm descended, shattering everything as it scattered golden dust. Amid a trendous storm impact, it steadily stopped before the center of the Gran Tesoro’s harbor.
All personnel stood straight at this mont, bowing to welco the most distinguished guest of the Gran Tesoro.
A tall-backed woman figure draped in a black cloak and gray-purple shirt, her face gloomy, was the first to co down with a cigar in her mouth.
"Tesoro’s turf, huh? It’s really extravagantly excessive..."
Next ca a cold-faced man wearing a mottled white shirt, noble trousers and boots, his sharp gaze sweeping over the surroundings before turning to the figure beside him.
"How noisy and ostentatious."
"If you hadn’t called , I’d be practicing swordsmanship right now."
And the last person, a tall figure wearing a black-and-gold lining and a gold-red coat, stood between the two. On his handso, carefree face was a faint smile.
"After all, it’s been a long ti since we last t~"
"This is a pretty fun place..."
