As Chen Jincheng and Sister Feiye bickered and flirted their way to the Jinmao Building, over at Tiao Yin, Han Shangyou had gathered a few managers for a brief eting.

The advertising section was Tiao Yin’s top priority at the mont, so they absolutely could not allow any mishaps.

Since a fan war had erupted between Second-Life Star and Sister Feiye, with the conflict showing signs of escalating, the platform couldn’t just stand by and watch. If this blew up into a public spectacle, it would have a negative impact on their strategic advertising plans.

"I suggest we restrict Second-Life Star’s traffic," Liu Xian proposed first, unable to conceal the smile on his face. "After all, Sister Feiye has already proven she has more comrcial value. At least until the advertising module is firmly established, we can’t give Second-Life Star any more exposure. As for other matters, we can discuss them once our plan is successfully in place."

This ti, he truly hadn’t made a move against Second-Life Star; Chen Jincheng was being dragged down by his own fans.

If it weren’t for his fans causing such a scene, none of this would have happened.

After finishing his proposal, he couldn’t resist kicking the man while he was down. "So influencers just don’t know what’s good for them. They can’t control their fans and end up getting ruined by them."

No one disagreed.

It was true. Sotis, an issue wouldn’t be that serious, and the platform wouldn’t resort to drastic asures. But when an influencer’s fans kicked up a fuss, it would force the platform into a corner, leaving them no choice but to take action.

Take Second-Life Star, for example. His advertising model and quality were excellent. Even if he had been surpassed by Sister Feiye, as long as he didn’t stir up trouble, the platform would have continued to give him exposure.

After all, just because they were pushing Sister Feiye as their new benchmark didn’t an they no longer needed other creators.

They needed a wide variety of creators to flourish in the advertising space for the next phase of their strategic plan to work.

In fact, if Sister Feiye got too big for her britches after they promoted her, they could just drop her and prop up Alone; it’s not like Second-Life Star wouldn’t get another chance.

But no, Second-Life Star’s fans just had to cause a scene. Now, there was truly nothing to be done.

Han Shangyou’s brow furrowed as he listened to Liu Xian. "Let’s hear what everyone else has to say. How exactly should we handle this?"

Just then, an assistant rushed into the conference room. "President Han," he reported, "there’s been a new developnt with Sister Feiye and Second-Life Star."

"Did their conflict escalate again?" Liu Xian asked instinctively. "That would be terrible if it blew up. People from rival platforms could intentionally amplify it to attack us. We need to restrict Second-Life Star’s traffic imdiately! And if his fans keep arguing, just mass-mute them!"

The assistant quickly shook his head. "No, they’ve stopped fighting. A mont ago, Sister Feiye and Chen Jincheng did a livestream together. They seed to be on very good terms. Sister Feiye even kissed him in his stream!"

"What?" Liu Xian shot to his feet, a ghostly pale expression on his face.

He had been supporting Sister Feiye so strongly, even calling her several tis to give her pointers. He was counting on her to be the key to his plan’s success, his ticket to finally getting the last laugh.

And now, this sa Sister Feiye had run off to get entangled with Chen Jincheng, even kissing him?

’What is she playing at?’

The others in the conference room exchanged bewildered glances.

They had convened this eting specifically to discuss how to deal with the fallout. The attendees were all here, the eting had just begun, and now the two people at the center of it all pull a stunt like this?

"Do you have the video?" Han Shangyou asked the assistant at once.

An incredible thought suddenly struck him. If this was the case, then Second-Life Star’s comrcial value was much, much higher than they had estimated.

The assistant nodded and quickly cued up a video on the room’s multidia system. A livestream clip appeared on the screen.

It showed the scene of Sister Feiye and Chen Jincheng’s flirtatious back-and-forth. It was clearly a clip that had been cut and uploaded by a fan channel.

Their playful squabbling left the executives staring at each other again. It felt like watching a master player and a fem fatale go head-to-head.

But when they glanced at the comnts, their expressions grew even more peculiar.

Comnts like "major stepmom vibes" and "the stepson" started popping up.

To put it together, the narrative was sothing like: the wicked stepson covets his young stepmother, the lonely stepmother sets her sights on the stepson, and the two of them engage in a tense, flirtatious dance.

And looking at what Sister Feiye was wearing, everyone in the room understood what "stepmom vibes" ant. It was a surprisingly fitting description.

Seriously, there were plenty of influencers who faked being a couple or followed a script, but they had never seen anyone manufacture *this* kind of relationship. And the crazy part was, it actually worked.

Only now, a question hung in the air: what was the point of this eting?

"So, does this an Chen Jincheng’s team was the one who actually fild Sister Feiye’s ad?" soone finally pieced it together and voiced the thought.

The others murmured in agreent.

"That must be it." Han Shangyou nodded; he had co to the sa conclusion monts earlier.

It was just that both sides had kept it so confidential that no one had seen it coming—not even their own fans, who had ended up starting a war over it.

But this also, in a roundabout way, boosted Second-Life Star’s value even further.

After all, if he was the one producing even Sister Feiye’s ads...

He instinctively glanced at Liu Xian. Even an influencer like Sister Feiye had been able to see the big picture, yet the head of his own ad operations departnt had been completely clueless.

Liu Xian felt a storm of curses raging in his heart. He felt like a complete Joker.

He had actually called to court Sister Feiye, thinking he could use her to make his plan a success and prove himself right. Who would have thought she was already mixed up with Second-Life Star?

Just then, another manager exclaid in surprise, "Take a look, Sister Feiye’s hopage is now tagged with the Er Shi Xingchen Company!"

Han Shangyou checked at once. It was true.

Sister Feiye had joined Er Shi Xingchen Company.

This was truly a union of powerhouses.

After all, with Sister Feiye’s proven ability to secure ad deals and Second-Life Star’s guarantee of high-quality ad production, this would be hugely beneficial to their advertising module initiative.

With this in mind, he announced to everyone with a smile, "Well, since things have turned out this way, let’s go ahead with Liu Xian’s plan. We’ll make Sister Feiye our benchmark celebrity!"

Previously, while he had agreed with promoting Sister Feiye, he had been unwilling to give up on Second-Life Star’s production talent.

But now, Sister Feiye was one of Second-Life Star’s people. It was the best of both worlds.

Liu Xian finally heard President Han make the decision, which ant his plan could move forward. Yet, he didn’t feel the slightest bit happy. Instead, he felt completely deflated.

He had achieved his goal, but the outco was completely different from what he had envisioned.

There wasn’t an ounce of excitent or joy to be found.

Just then, Liu Xian’s phone vibrated. It was a ssage from his departnt—an ad review notification for an influencer.

"Ten million!" Liu Xian gasped when he saw the figure on the ad contract.

Han Shangyou frowned at the outburst. "What ten million?"

Liu Xian imdiately tried to claim credit. "President Han, it’s an ad review submitted through our departnt for an influencer nad Ah Hao. A single ad deal for ten million! That’s a new record! Compared to this, the revenue from Second-Life Star’s and Sister Feiyan’s ads are nothing."

His eyes lit up again. With an even better benchmark like this, it seed he wouldn’t need to rely on Sister Feiye anymore.

His words stunned everyone in the room.

As platform executives, they knew the going rates for influencer ads very well. Even Second-Life Star’s deals had been astonishing, far beyond what influencers were typically able to command at this stage.

Now, for a ten-million-yuan ad deal to suddenly appear... it was simply unbelievable. So A-list celebrities barely charged that much.

"Is soone faking the numbers?" Han Shangyou asked imdiately. "If we promote a fraudulent ad, it will be Tiao Yin that ends up with egg on its face."

Liu Xian quickly shook his head. "It’s a legitimate company. The departnt already verified it. A major conglorate from Coastal City, with a very diverse portfolio."

Hearing this, Han Shangyou didn’t hesitate. "Contact this Ah Hao at once," he said urgently. "Get the details."

Liu Xian didn’t hesitate in the slightest. He dialed the number for Ah Hao listed in the file and, full of confidence, put the call on speaker.

’The heavens must be looking out for ,’ he thought, ’to deliver such a bombshell of an ad deal right to my lap. This ti, I can crush Chen Jincheng and Sister Feiye in one go, especially that traitor, Sister Feiye.’

The call connected, and an impatient voice answered, "Who is this? If this is a spam call, then I hope you *****."

"..." Liu Xian was montarily stunned speechless by Lin Hao’s opening line. He quickly explained, "Ah Hao, hello. I’m the head of the advertising managent departnt at Tiao Yin. We saw your ad submission, and it’s for the largest deal we’ve ever seen on our platform."

"Even Second-Life Star and Sister Feiye don’t compare. If you pass our evaluation, we’re prepared to make you the new benchmark celebrity for Tiao Yin’s advertising module."

Han Shangyou frowned. They hadn’t even properly vetted this Ah Hao yet; a promise like that shouldn’t be made. Furthermore, Liu Xian had no authority to make such an offer in this eting.

He could tell Liu Xian still held a grudge against Second-Life Star, and now he had extended that animosity to Sister Feiye.

On the other end of the line, Lin Hao was completely floored. He had only asked his dad to throw so money at an ad to boost his profile. Who’d have thought Tiao Yin would want to make him their benchmark celebrity? He knew perfectly well what he was and wasn’t capable of.

Lao Cheng had been the one to plan this ad for him. Pushing him into the spotlight wasn’t making him a star; it was setting him up to be embarrassed.

So, he said directly into the phone, "Forget about making so ad star. I’m not cut out for it. But I can recomnd soone who is: Chen Jincheng of Second-Life Star. He’s the one who helped plan this ad for . You’re welco. Bye."
