...
Han Zheng was completely dumbfounded.
He had clicked on the tag for @HanZhengZhengZhengZheng, and it led him straight to Chen Jincheng’s Tiao Yin hopage.
What the hell?
After a brief mont of confusion, he realized that the person on the plane had been Chen Jincheng.
It all made sense now. No wonder that pretty flight attendant had been so easily chard and even took the initiative to add his WeChat—it was because she was talking to Chen Jincheng.
But the embarrassing part was that he had spent the whole flight talking *to* Chen Jincheng *about* Chen Jincheng. Thinking back on everything he’d said, he suddenly felt his face flush.
’How mortifying.’
Seeing her boyfriend’s stunned expression, Xiaoli asked doubtfully, "What’s with that look on your face? What happened?"
Han Zheng snapped out of it and imdiately started bragging, "Xiaoli, let tell you, on my flight over here, do you know who was sitting next to ? It was Chen Jincheng."
"Chen Jincheng? You an that famous scumbag from the internet? For real?" Xiaoli’s face was full of surprise. She had, of course, seen videos of Chen Jincheng lately. Even though the guy was a total scumbag, she had to admit, he was seriously amazing at making videos.
Han Zheng imdiately said, "Of course it’s real! He just posted a video and even tagged !"
As he spoke, he opened the video Chen Jincheng had posted, curious about what he had actually fild.
In the first clip, he quickly saw himself appear, teasing Chen Jincheng and praising the pretty flight attendant.
In the second clip, he saw himself saying, "If you have rice in your hand, the chickens will co on their own."
That line had gone viral, judging by the number of comnts.
But then ca the third clip. He saw the scene where he mistakenly thought the flight attendant was coming to hit on him. His cringey attempt to take the drink was clearly fild, his awkward expression perfectly captured.
’Wait a minute, Chen Jincheng didn’t even have his phone or any cara gear out. When did he film this?’
’Seeing the pretty flight attendant proactively introduce herself to Chen Jincheng at the end, and the delicate way she acted when he suggested they chat on WeChat... damn, have they already made plans to et at a hotel?’
’He really is the Ancestral Master. Goddamn, I’m so jealous.’
At that mont, he also noticed that his follower count was suddenly increasing. People were even comnting on his old videos, and the comnts were almost all identical:
"If you have rice in your hand, the chickens will co on their own!"
"Rice-in-hand bro!"
"Bro, that was so serious wishful thinking!"
"So you’re the one with rice in your hand, haha!"
"..."
Han Zheng knew they were coming from the @HanZhengZhengZhengZheng tag in Chen Jincheng’s video. He could see his follower count jumping up at a speed that was unbelievable to him, instantly surpassing his girlfriend’s.
You have to understand, his girlfriend was also on Tiao Yin. She posted videos regularly and sotis posted risqué content just to chase a little clout, which he wasn’t always happy about.
But the number of followers he gained in just these few monts was already more than what his girlfriend got from posting a single risqué, flirty video.
’So, I’ve gone viral?’
Without the slightest hesitation, he changed his Tiao Yin account nickna to: "Rice in Hand (Han Zheng himself)".
’This was my clout to chase; I can’t let anyone else snatch it.’
’Running into Chen Jincheng was my lucky break.’
But suddenly, he felt a chill run down his spine, a murderous aura emanating from behind him.
He turned his head and saw his girlfriend holding a feather duster. "The flight attendant was very pretty, wasn’t she?"
In an instant, Han Zheng felt his back break out in a cold sweat.
The next mont, his miserable howl rang out. "Ah, Xiaoli, it’s a misunderstanding!"
"’If you have rice in your hand, the chickens will co on their own,’ right?"
"It’s really a misunderstanding!!"
"The pretty flight attendant wanted to hit on you, right?"
"Xiaoli, I was wrong, I was really wrong..."
"You’ve embarrassed yourself all over the internet! You may have no sha, but I fucking do! Get on your knees for ."
Han Zheng looked at the two durians thrown in front of him, his face turning an ugly, purplish color. But looking at his girlfriend’s murderous expression, he could only kneel on them with a face full of pain.
"You just stay there and kneel properly!" Xiaoli huffed, stomping over to the table to pour a glass of water.
’This boyfriend of hers is going to be the death of !!!!’
Seeing this, Han Zheng’s face was full of bitterness. But he took out his phone and secretly fild a video of his legs kneeling on the durians. "Chen Jincheng, you’ve killed ! My girlfriend wants to tear to shreds right now."
Upload. Tag @ChenJincheng directly.
When an opportunity for clout presented itself, he knew how to seize it.
He already had a small following now. As soon as he posted the video, quite a few people saw it. Those who had co via the @HanZhengZhengZhengZheng tag in Chen Jincheng’s video absolutely burst out laughing when they saw the clip of him kneeling on durians.
However, no one found it strange that Han Zheng was kneeling on durians.
Whether it was praising the pretty flight attendant, saying "if you have rice in your hand, the chickens will co on their own," or his eager expression when he mistakenly thought the beautiful flight attendant was hitting on him—all of those things were guaranteed to hit a nerve with any girlfriend or wife. It would be weirder if he *didn’t* get punished for it after being caught.
Kneeling on durians that big was pretty harsh, though. They should have made him kneel on two more.
「anwhile」
Fang Qianyao had gone to an employee lounge in the airport with two other flight attendants from her flight. She ordered a milk tea and a small cake. She was used to it; she often skipped lunch and just made do with sothing small like this.
If even Han Zheng was getting so much attention, Fang Qianyao, as the other tagged main character in the video, naturally attracted even more with her looks. Her follower count had already increased by 20,000.
