Keke couldn’t do that. Budding Magical Girls couldn’t fly by themselves; even if barely flying using a broom, she wasn’t skilled. Despite her best efforts to evade the Firebird’s charge,
she was hit.
Swept off her feet, Keke felt the sky spinning around her.
But the broom was quite mystical, quickly returning from above where it had been knocked away. After regaining so composure, Keke reached out and grabbed it with her right hand. Swinging in the sky, holding the Magic Wand in her left, she couldn’t climb back up for the mont.
Below, the Firebird crashed into the forest on the outskirts, setting it ablaze.
The Disaster Strategy Bureau had previously reported that this area was uninhabited, so there was no concern about affecting innocent passersby.
But if left unchecked, the forest fire could spread into the city.
Silver Lotus intended to protect Keke, but the Firebird she had dodged swooped down again!

In the next mont, the once unstoppable, speeding Disaster Beast crashed into the ground like a teor!
Only then did Silver Lotus’s pink petals catch up, enveloping Keke and protecting her within.
Keke quickly used her Magic Wand to dispel the surrounding petals, delighted to see the figure standing in front of her.
