1191: Chapter 661, Positive Competition 1191: Chapter 661, Positive Competition The ‘Alliance National Knights’, though bearing the words ‘Knight Order’, have long been positioned as the Titan Legion.

Indeed, there are a significant number of Knight chas, but the main force remains the many Titans.

From Warlord Level to Warhound-class, dozens in grand formation.

Supported by thrice the number of Knight chas of various levels.

The Dominator-class Knight cha, for instance, has a size approaching that of a Warhound-class Titan.

They traverse the open plains, each step sending hefty tremors akin to an earthquake.

The colossal cannons mounted on them unleash lasers, Colossal Cannons, and rockets that splatter across the battlefield.

Simultaneously, their massive forms provide the best cover.

Tanks and armored vehicles advancing alongside them fire wantonly ahead.

Behind the advancing armored units, a hundred thousand artillery pieces are assembled, launching various shells intensively at the enemy’s positions, heedless of the barrel’s lifespan.

The width of this offensive is confined to the range of about ten kiloters.

Within this width, such concentrated firepower has caused the Iron Armor’s defense line to waver significantly.

The forces on the position have been suppressed to the point they can hardly lift their heads.

When tanks roll over trenches, enemy soldiers hiding in the Hidden Soldier Cave and trench corners have no way to co out and resist.

Later, when infantry rush up to begin clearing each trench of enemies, any sign of resistance imdiately draws either tank fire or Titan Cannon blasts.

No matter how sturdy the Hidden Soldier Cave, it cannot withstand such bombardnt.

Established bunkers and close-support fire points are rcilessly eradicated one by one.

At this ti, the long-range firepower of Iron Armor also made a display of strength.

Artillery numbers not inferior to the Empire’s covered targets above the attacking National Knights’ Regint and the artillery positions of the already firing Empire forces in the rear.

Artillery, of course, is useful.

In just two rounds of attack, a considerable number of the Empire’s tanks were destroyed, and the rear artillery positions also suffered losses.

However, the most crucial Titans did not sustain significant damage.

The agile movents of Titans and Knight chas, despite their size, make them harder to hit than tanks; their equipped energy shields, and even warlord-level Void Shields, make it difficult for them to suffer substantial damage unless subjected to concentrated firepower in a short ti.

And the artillery positions from where Iron Armor’s counterattack was launched were soon destroyed.

Not only were the Empire’s cannons pounding there, but the assaulting Titans had enough capability to pour firepower there.

Furthermore, if the ground positions cannot withstand the Empire’s armored divisions’ assault, with the speed and off-road capabilities of Knight chas, they can cover the distance of forty kiloters from the front line in just over an hour of sprinting.

The artillery commander of Iron Armor also understood this, but under the upper echelon’s rigid demands, he still fired two more rounds as much as possible.

Ultimately, it was aningless.

It was already certain that the fifteen-kiloter-long stretch of defense was completely breached.

Simultaneously, firing those extra two rounds of artillery ant that relocating artillery positions beca a bit too late.

There were already losses due to the long-range artillery duel, which would have been acceptable given that they have had results.

But being charged directly by dozens of Knight chas, that truly spelled disaster.

At close range, the powerful artillery positions had virtually no ability to resist.

They could only disperse and flee under heavy casualties.

Running now, they could still take advantage of the relatively small number of Knight chas, unable to pay attention to all those escaping.

If delayed further, waiting for the swift-moving chanized units to arrive, none would get away.

Throughout the entire process, the most powerful Interstellar Warriors on the side of the rebels never appeared.

Interstellar Warriors, as formidable as they are, what could even the most elite manage on such a large-scale battlefield?

Facing the synchronized roar of one hundred thousand artillery pieces, blanket-covering bombardnt, Interstellar Warriors caught in the crossfire would also die.

They, unlike Titans, do not all possess energy shields and Void Shields to withstand artillery to a certain degree.

They also cannot charge forward continuously under intense firepower like Knight chas.

Moreover, if they stand directly in front of the tallic tidal wave, they too would be crushed.

In such a scenario, Interstellar Warriors are not much different from advanced infantry.

Interstellar Warriors are not used this way.

The thod of using Interstellar Warriors was evident on Iron Armor’s side that sa night.

They organized a nightti infiltration strike.

The Interstellar Warriors ford dozens of three-man teams, quickly penetrating into the Empire’s lines to begin a ruthless slaughter.

It wasn’t just indiscriminate killing.

They destroyed ammunition depots, took prisoners to ascertain the camps of Knight cha and Titan operators, then conducted massacres, destroyed artillery positions…

They ca swiftly, like phantoms; when retreating, they vanished, impossible to block.

Often, the Empire’s side would launch similar retaliatory actions, or operate locally to combat the infiltrating Iron Armor soldiers.

Such situations occur every mont along this three-hundred-kiloter-long frontline.

This ti, however, there was sothing different.

Deploying so many Knight chas and Titans to breach a fifteen-kiloter section of the defense line must have been to accumulate strength for the next stage of attack, a grand strategy impacting the entire course of the war.

How could such sabotage be allowed?
