The overall situation in the Fox Moon Star Domain is quite comndable.

In 90% of the worlds, after reestablishing contact with the Star Domain Governnt, the functioning governnt agencies quickly assessed and evaluated that the majority of worlds have enough capability to resolve their planetary issues.

It’s definitely impossible for the functioning of society and the lives of the people to be completely unaffected. However, at least on the whole, there are no major problems. Even if there are issues, they are gradually being resolved.

On many planets, internal comrcial trade, and industrial and agricultural production are rapidly recovering. Reflected in the governnt work reports, these indices experienced a downturn during the disaster but have quickly soared afterward.

However, there are six worlds with relatively severe problems. They might eventually resolve their issues on their own, but it could take a long ti, and the costs could be painful.

In weighing the options, Jason Morgan still decided to gather so resources from the Star Domain Governnt to help them through the difficult tis.

Under normal circumstances, it wouldn’t be much of a problem—simply a few planetary crises. For a powerful Star Domain Governnt, if they are determined to resolve it, they definitely can.

But now, isn’t there a problem with the Star Realm Tunnel? Forcing a passage, the fate of the ship that previously entered the Starport is a vivid mory for all who witnessed.

Nobody wants to end up like that.

Yet, Jason Morgan decided to be assertive. If it needs testing, then it must be tested.

Of course, not in a reckless manner.

People are precious, and ships are precious.

We need to think of less costly thods.

Jason Morgan silently stared at the model of the Star Realm Tunnel hovering in the center of the tactical round table; the originally stable bands of ghostly blue light were now showing a sickly pink and purple ripple.

"It should have already begun..."

He thought this, and soon news arrived:

"By the God of All Machines and the decree of steel, the first group of test subjects is ready, requesting approval for action."

"Approval granted."

Far at the Star Realm Warp Point in the Snow Fox Star System, a fleet composed of a dozen starships was ready for action.

These starships were, of course, not warships. All complete warships of the Alliance are within the Alliance Navy. The Starport at Snow Fox Star is indeed considered a navy base of the Alliance Navy, but during the great cataclysm, the navy was not here.

Currently, Snow Fox Star only has ordinary rchant ships, at most modified with so weaponry.

But there’s no need for it, this isn’t a battle.

In fact, the core of this mission lies in a ’fat-bellied’ warship without any combat capability.

Inside the ’fat-bellied’ ship, the do reverberated with the roar of tallic friction as twelve probes ascended, left the ship, and entered the outer space.

Their shells were engraved with three layers of exorcism runes, with the navigation core soaked in liquid silver bathed in Holy Oil.

These probes moved through space to the two ships that would act as the main reconnaissance force and then docked alongside.

These two exploration ships are of the Voyager class, the minimum class capable of traversing the Star Realm Tunnel.

When the first probe accompanying the Voyager pierced the Star Realm Tunnel, the holographic image suddenly contorted into a screaming face.

"Mass projector overload!" the chanical Priest’s chanical eye sparked with electricity, "Probe No. 3 is sending back anomalous light..."

Before he could finish, the monitoring screen suddenly erupted with viscous black liquid.

Alert guards imdiately raised their flathrowers, but that liquid solidified into the characters of "Hymn of the Father" the instant it touched the air.

Flas spurted out instantly, charring the entire screen and the infected data stream.

At the Starport, upon hearing the firsthand information from the frontlines, Jason Morgan’s eye twitched a few tis.

He asked, "Is this situation anticipated?"

"Yes."

As the Technical Priest relayed back this ssage, Morgan also heard the sound of a lullaby.

"...Is this also a normal condition?"

"It’s also accounted for in our contingency plans. Please wait a mont; the priest is dealing with a technician who is engraving mathematical formulas on the console using an eyeball... Okay."

Jason Morgan still found it really peculiar.

But this is how testing is conducted.

A standard Terra Day later, Morgan reconnected to the front line communications.

"How are things progressing?" he asked eagerly.

"Navigation data has experienced cognitive contamination," said the chanical Priest, "We have failed this ti, but it’s ti to prepare for the next one."

Morgan rubbed his eyes.

He had anticipated that things wouldn’t be this simple, yet he still harbored hope.

The loss of the two Voyagers is one aspect; together they might cost several million tax credits, a bearable loss. However, the volunteers and responsible testers are invaluable talents.

Yet, when he made up his mind, soone beside him spoke.

It was his Spiritual Energy advisor.

"No, wait a mont... Look at the sub-signal on Channel Seven—although the main sensor failed, the Holy Oil silver left a trace in the Subspace."

After a series of operations on the interface, a faint silver line andered through the pink-purple torrent on the holographic star map before Jason Morgan.

"Looks like there’s hope," Jason Morgan said with relief, "Just be patient... At the normal speed, it should take four to five days for them to pass through the Star Realm Tunnel to reach the other side. Let’s see if there will be any news by then."

For several days, they fixated on this faint silver line, occasionally appearing and disappearing amidst the torrent.

Four days later, the signal was recaptured. Among the twelve probes, the last one remaining faithfully transmitted back the information.

From its perspective, one could see both Voyager’s hulls covered in throbbing blood vessels.

When attempting to contact the two Voyagers, the crew claid bizarre incidents did occur during their legendary journey, but with the help of the ship’s choir, the issues remained manageable. During the journey, they continuously cleared malevolent, corrupt, and mutated entities inside the ship. Finally, they successfully completed the mission.

This news was exhilarating.

Yet, they still couldn’t let their guard down at this point.

Previous entities transford into translucent gel forms also had no self-recognition issues.

They opened the spacecraft doors, sending probes in for thorough inspection.

Indeed, nothing was amiss, just as they had claid.

A New Teaching priest representative excitedly told Jason Morgan: "The choir worked! This is a reusable thod!"

The front-line Technical Priest remarked, "It must have been the effect of our modified Star Realm protective field."

The Spiritual Energy advisor claid, "The protective field’s array was the key elent."

Everyone vied for credit, but Jason Morgan wasn’t concerned with such trivialities.

"Everyone did their part!" he continued, "However, this isn’t over; the risk of traversing is still high, and the successfully traversed vessels are the smallest ones. We haven’t conducted tests on larger vessels yet. All thods must be further optimized, and everyone still needs to work in concert!"

"Understood!"

As everyone plunged back into their tasks, Jason Morgan once again turned his gaze to the probe images from the front lines.

The mutated organism on the ship’s hull was glaringly conspicuous, reminding him clearly that this level of safety was just a temporary compromise—much like bandaging a festering wound.

But in the shadow of the doomsday clock, it was the best solution that mortals could reach.
