Fang Cheng sat in his seat, glancing at the figure passing by.

He naturally didn’t know that the invigilator had already imagined a whole grand family drama in their mind.

Filling in the last blank of the tactical deduction question, he paused slightly and capped his pen.

"Click."

A soft sound drew the nearby examinees to glance up sideways.

Fang Cheng remained calm and composed, then scanned the exam paper from start to finish.

This administrative aptitude test for the spring recruitnt of the Special Search Team was extrely complex, covering areas like law, psychology, political science, and military command.

For those examinees who only knew how to train strength, with nothing but muscles in their heads, these questions were no less than heavenly books.

But for Fang Cheng, with his exceptional mory and far superior Spirit Attribute, handling them was completely effortless.

Whether it was morization-intensive knowledge points or slightly complex theoretical analysis.

In his eyes, they were as simple as elentary school arithtic howork.

Fang Cheng turned his head, idly observing his surroundings.

A few brawny n in front of him were scratching their heads, looking as if they might break the pens in their hands.

On the right, across the aisle, a girl was biting her lip, staring intently at a political theory question, her eyes visibly reddened with anxiety.

Indeed, for many from ordinary families.

Getting into the Special Search Team, a national power institution, was undoubtedly the best stepping stone for achieving social mobility, leading to a path of great success.

How many can remain calm and composed when facing a challenge that concerns their future destiny?

Looking at the tense, sweating faces in the examination hall, Fang Cheng couldn’t help but feel slightly touched.

Among these people, there might be future colleagues working in the sa building as him.

Once, he was just like them.

Striving to succeed, bearing his family’s expectations, anxiety ridden within the societal rules, scared to make a single wrong step.

It’s just that now, with extraordinary power at his hands, he had the confidence to step out of the ga and start truly mastering his destiny.

The judgnts of the outside world, the fa and fortune that people aim for, appeared to him like passing clouds, unable to stir any ripples.

After half a year of life-and-death trials and growth transformation, Fang Cheng had long understood one thing.

Only the power that he firmly holds in his hands is the most reliable support in life.

If he hadn’t demonstrated the astonishing Talent in Martial Arts back then.

How would a prominent figure like Shi Chengyi have approached him to join the Special Search Team, even offering help to resolve the background check troubles?

Speaking of which, with his current strength, if he wished to breach boundaries, to plunder, to kill.

The wealth, power, and beauty that ordinary people dream of would be easily attainable.

But even if acquired, what then?

These superficial, external possessions can’t transform into nutrients for physical evolution.

In terms of value, they’re probably less significant than several dozen pounds of high-calorie beef sauce that would provide more True Qi reserves, far more important.

Thinking of this, Fang Cheng shook his head slightly, a smile appearing on his lips, reining in his stray thoughts.

However, speaking of which, the recruitnt exam for the Special Search Team was relatively fair.

Whether aiming for frontline positions as special personnel or applying for logistics and public administration as civilian staff, the sa exam paper was used.

The only difference was in the score weighting.

Special personnel just need to excel in physical and practical skills, with the written test score mostly only needing to et the passing mark.

However, for civilian staff, this written test, along with tomorrow’s interview, was a life-and-death gateway determining fate.

Fang Cheng raised his head, his gaze sweeping across the clock above the blackboard.

The second hand ticked, moving step by step.

There’s still more than an hour until the end of the exam.

He didn’t want to waste ti sitting idly.

So he pushed back his chair and stood up.

The wooden chair legs scraped the floor, making a brief, muffled sound.

Straightaway, dozens of eyes in the examination hall turned towards him.

Surprise, doubt, jealousy, and even disbelief.

Fang Cheng calmly t those gazes, walked down the steps to the podium, and placed his paper neatly on the desk.

Then, under the thought-provoking gaze of the invigilator, he walked steadily out of the oppressive classroom.

He walked through the corridor and out the main entrance of the teaching building.

The early sumr sunshine, slightly hot, greeted him unfiltered.

Fang Cheng stood on the wide granite steps, taking a deep breath of the fresh air outside, expelling the stale breath from his chest.

Just then, from under a large pagoda tree off to the side, a rough voice called out.

"Yo, Ah Cheng! You turned in your paper this quickly too?"

Fang Cheng looked toward the voice.

Under the dense shade of the tree stood a large man built like a bear.

Ma Donghe was wearing a tight black T-shirt, grinning broadly, a half-burnt cigarette between his fingers, striding toward Fang Cheng.

"What’s up? Judging by your relaxed expression, did you do well on the test?"

Fang Cheng descended the steps and walked toward Ma Donghe, casually joking.

"Not at all!"

Ma Donghe ca closer, took a deep drag of his cigarette, then blew out a large cloud of smoke, looking indifferent:

"I decided the answers for those multiple-choice questions based on dice rolls. As for those long theoretical questions, I just wrote big words to fill in the blanks."
