A Jian also switched to an electric shock gun, ready for a head-on battle with the "monster."
They moved slowly, extrely carefully inching forward.
Suddenly, they both focused, and their pupils dilated in shock.

About ten ters away, a shadowy figure crouched on a blood-soaked mound of flesh.
A right hand held high, gripping a twisted and warped Butterfly Knife.
Seemingly suppressing rage, or perhaps too excited, it emitted low guttural breaths akin to those of a wild beast.

Fang Cheng felt a warmth in his heart, discarded the completely damaged Butterfly Knife.
The furrowed brows behind the mask slowly relaxed, giving way to a faint smile of relief.
Feeling Fang Cheng’s emotions, Wen Xin’s heart also settled, and she smiled along.
