The dense shrubbery was parted by a tall silhouette.
Fang Cheng walked out of the mist with his hands in the pockets of his training uniform, stepping on the slippery decaying leaves with a composed deanor.
Ma Donghe and Hou Peng followed closely behind, each clutching a dagger, their eyes scanning the surroundings vigilantly.
Confronted with these ruthless gangsters whose hands were freshly bloodied, although the two appeared calm, their hearts couldn’t help but beat faster.
The bloody stench emanating from the assassins perated the cold air, making it extrely pungent.
However, as their gaze fell upon Fang Cheng’s unwavering figure, their tension remarkably dissipated.
With such a man ahead who could crush even mutant wild boars with a single punch, what was there to fear?
Seeing the three erge from the trees, the three police academy students, trapped in dire straits, first rejoiced, thinking they were saved by strong reinforcents.
But when they saw the newcors clearly, they couldn’t help but be stunned.
One was as skinny as a dried bamboo stick, as if a mountain breeze could blow him away.
One had an extrely robust build, a broad back and thick waist, but looked sowhat dull.
As for the handso leader in the middle, exuding an innocuous office worker aura, he didn’t even carry a weapon for self-defense.
This trio was devoid of any intimidation.
The hope in the police students’ eyes instantly dimd, their hearts sinking to the trough.
The tall leader narrowed his elongated eyes, swept his gaze over Fang Cheng’s group, and pulled a disdainful smirk:
"I thought you were so deeply concealed experts, turns out you’re just three lost rookies."
As soon as the words exited his mouth, laughter erupted from the henchn behind him.
"Boss, look at that big guy, he looks like a bear, carrying a wild boar leg as if he’s out for a picnic at West Mountain."
"And that pretty boy in the middle is even funnier, soft and tender-skinned, doesn’t even have a knife on him, and he dared to co for the exam, probably hasn’t even killed a chicken!"
Amidst the mocking laughter, soone brandished their weapon, unabashedly threatening:
"A few brats still wet behind the ears dare to trespass here? Kneel down and knock a few tis for rcy, maybe when Grandpa slashes you later, you’ll suffer less!"
Facing the blatant threat, Fang Cheng remained composed, speaking in a gentle tone:
"We indeed lost our way, sorry for interrupting. If there’s nothing else, we’ll be on our way."
With that, he actually turned around, ready to leave.
Ma Donghe grinned widely, waved cooperatively:
"Bye-bye, everyone, carry on."
Hou Peng quickly followed Fang Cheng, not looking back.
The police students, watching this, gripped their daggers tightly, veins bulging with despair.
They initially hoped these three could help lessen the pressure, but they turned out to be cowards.
"Hold it!"
The tall man’s face darkened, shouting sternly:
"Did I say you could leave? First explain your identities, then I’ll consider whether to leave you intact."
Ma Donghe stopped, spat heavily on the ground, pointed angrily:
"Screw you, explain your granny’s leg, who do you think you are?"
"Screw your mother! Aren’t you a joke, trying to act tough in front of !"
Seeing the opponent pushing boundaries, he dropped the pretense, acting even more arrogant than these gangsters.
The tall man’s expression twitched, angered by the vulgar insults.
His previously playful face turned nasty, glaring murderously at Ma Donghe:
"Seeking death! Wanted to let you live a bit longer, since you’re rushing to die, it’s not my fault!"
He flipped his wrist, spinning the blood-stained military dagger in his palm, issuing commands coldly:
"Old Dog, take care of the skinny one."
"Black Bull, Evil Wolf, tear out that bear-like guy’s tongue, gut him, I want him to suffer the cruelest tornt before dying!"
The tall man swiftly directed orders, his gaze finally landing on a sinister-looking assassin:
"Viper, bleed that pretty boy out, be rciless."
"The rest, follow to finish off these three police students, quick and clean!"
Hou Peng frowned tightly upon hearing this.
There were nine unstoppable gangsters on the opposite side.
While on their side, there were only six, and three were critically injured, their combat power halved.
The odds were overwhelmingly one-sided, how could they fight?
The crew-cutted man and others shared the sa grim mindset.
No matter what, they couldn’t survive the day, they could only grit their teeth, clutching daggers, ready for a desperate battle.
The gangsters sneered, gazing at them as if looking at breathing corpses.
After brief tension between the three groups, murderous intent surged, and the fight erupted.
The nad assassin Viper sneered, suddenly accelerating, leaving deep boot marks in the mud.
Like an arrow flying parallel to the ground, he charged, aiming his military dagger straight at Fang Cheng’s heart.
Seeing Fang Cheng’s hands-in-pocket, defenseless posture, Viper was full of contempt.
Dealing with this fragile pretty boy, he planned to pierce the heart with one move, using the fastest, deadliest strike for an instant kill.
Just like when he was hiding in the tree earlier, ambushing and killing that candidate.
