"Alright, thank you for your help."

They bid each other farewell, and the spiritual link was subsequently severed.

In an instant, the noise in his mind seed isolated, and the surroundings returned to silence.

Fang Cheng stood alone, the breeze gently brushing by, stirring the hem of his clothes.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he contemplated his next move.

The treasure hunt was now concluded, and he had left no trace that might reveal his whereabouts.

There seed no need to go out of his way to clean up, to avoid being found by the Lu Family and the Black Sect.

Bzzz———

While pondering, an unusual sound ca from afar, drawing closer.

Fang Cheng raised his head alertly, his gaze sharp, as keen as an eagle’s.

He saw a helicopter flashing glaring red lights, its rotor creating an airstream, slicing through the night sky, rapidly approaching his direction.

The outline of the aircraft was distinctly clear under the cold moonlight, and through the cabin glass, he could vaguely see a young man sitting in the cockpit.

The man was handso, exuding an extraordinary aura, seemingly aware as he suddenly turned his head, looking down in Fang Cheng’s direction.

Fang Cheng’s expression tightened, and the mont their eyes t, he quickly withdrew his Eagle Eye Vision ability.

Imdiately, he sprang into action, legs pounding the ground, like a black lightning bolt, darting into the dense woods.

His steps were light and agile as he swiftly navigated through the forest, skillfully avoiding branches and vines scattered about.

Along the way, Fang Cheng also spotted a few figures appearing on the eerily silent Mist Mountain at night.

A closer look revealed them to be other team mbers involved in the treasure hunt.

Despite several dangerous encounters like "battleground eliminations," many had survived by relying on their unique abilities.

Fang Cheng moved like the wind, at tis sprinting, at others pausing, stealthily hiding in the shadows.

Being naked at the mont, he did not appear hastily.

The voices of the treasure hunters’ discussions vaguely reached his ears with the wind.

So were filled with regret, angry over the Golden Benba Bottle, lanting how such a precious treasure had been destroyed by so ignorant fool.

Others were imnsely relieved, thinking that preserving their lives was evidently more important than anything else.

So faces were ecstatic, seemingly having been fortunate enough to absorb the mysterious blood rain, drastically enhancing their abilities.

Hiding in the dark, Fang Cheng withdrew his gaze expressionlessly, deftly sidestepping a protruding branch.

Targeting a lone burly man who was cursing him the hardest earlier, he quietly approached his target and suddenly launched a stealth attack.

Successfully knocking him unconscious, he stripped the man’s clothes and pants, quickly donning them himself.

Then, he took off, sprinting rapidly toward the foot of the mountain.

The accumulated fallen leaves underfoot made a slight "rustling" sound, as if whispering the many secrets buried within Mist Mountain.

Glancing upward, fragnted moonlight filtered through the treetops, casting an intricate play of light and shadow, as if draping a veil over the forest.

Everything around him seed so serene and peaceful.

Suddenly, the forrly gentle breeze ceased abruptly, and the air around him seed to freeze.

Fang Cheng stopped, a chill crawling up his spine, as if preyed upon by a wild beast.

That prickling sensation made every muscle tense, every nerve on high alert.

Swish!

Suddenly, a cold gleam appeared, tearing apart the surrounding silence in an instant.

The sharp whoosh startled a flock of resting birds into flight.

A chain, like a lurking venomous snake, shot out swiftly from the right side of the forest, aiming straight at Fang Cheng’s throat.

Its speed was at its peak, like a lightning bolt across the night sky, allowing no ti for reaction.

Yet Fang Cheng remained composed; his toes lightly skimd the ground, like a swallow skimming the water, his form disappearing in a flash.

Only a shadow remained in the sa spot, struck hard by the chain and quickly dissipating into the air.

With his extraordinary Agility Attribute and instinctual danger foresight, Fang Cheng easily dodged what seed to be a certain lethal strike.

However, crises arrived one after another.

Before he could catch his breath, almost simultaneously, another chain ghostly erged from the left rear side.

At that mont, responding to the previous chain, they ford a nacing strangulation trap!

The barbs on the two chains were chillingly sharp, flashing with a nacing cold light, driving the roaring wind, attacking from left and right, front and back.

Like two giant mouths full of sharp teeth, they lunged at Fang Cheng, determined to shred him to pieces.

With Fang Cheng trapped in the middle, his eyes focused; he suddenly exerted strength under his feet and propelled himself like a cannonball from in between.

Once again, narrowly avoiding the double onslaught.

Yet as he dodged, the tip of one chain lightly scraped over the Qiangmu Mask he was wearing.

This mask, after intense combat and relentless flas, had beco fragile and weak.

Touched by this swipe, it instantly cracked open and fragnts began to fall away.

Dodging this chain sequence of stealth attacks, Fang Cheng swiftly steadied himself, eyes fixed ahead.

"Heh heh—"

An eerie chuckle, like the call of a night owl, emanated from the dense underbrush.

Soon, a shadow slowly erged.

The individual’s head was bald, studded with countless slender steel needles.

Under the moonlight, cold glints reflected, presenting a particularly sinister and eerie sight.
