Fang Cheng understood what he ant, frowned in thought for a mont, and let out a slight breath.
Then, feigning curiosity, he asked:
"Aside from investigating anomalous individuals, hasn’t the Noah Organization taken any other actions in East Capital?"
"Yes, they were actually investigating another more important matter before."
Candid to this point, he no longer had any intention to hide secrets for the organization.
Xu Hao swallowed and glanced around, then asked in a lower voice:
"Have you heard about the massacre at the Lingang District dock warehouse last year?"
Fang Cheng’s heart stirred, but his expression remained unchanged as if he had just heard about an ordinary case.
Xu Hao, seeing no reaction from him, continued:
"That night, soone bloodwashed Wu Shihao’s den, reportedly killing nearly two hundred gang mbers, piling bodies like a small mountain, with extrely brutal and bloody thods... tsk tsk!"
He clicked his tongue, seeming to savor the rumors he heard, as if disguising his inner fear:
"The incident shook the entire underworld of East Capital and alard the Noah Organization. They sent many people over, secretly investigating the murderer’s whereabouts."
"However, those guys were so arrogant, acting superior all the ti, tossing the entire Red Tiger Gang several tis but found nothing..."
His tone carried obvious complaint and disdain, seemingly looking down on those colleagues sowhat.
"Oh? One person killed nearly two hundred people? So powerful?!"
Fang Cheng feigned surprise, raising his voice, then nodded thoughtfully:
"No wonder it mobilized the Noah Organization to track it down. This assassin is truly a hero, I’d like to et them if possible, perhaps even beco friends."
His acting was impeccable, both tone and deanor carrying hints of shock and admiration, as if genuinely appreciating so "fierce person" he had never t.
"Friend? Forget it!"
Xu Hao couldn’t help but snicker at this:
"That murderer is indeed very strong, like a monster, but according to the investigators’ private analyses, he’s likely a super psychopath with an extrely distorted mind from growing up without parents!"
"Think about it, a normal person would go weak even if told to kill two hundred chickens in a row, yet he could kill that many people without batting an eye..."
Xu Hao, caught up in his excitent, almost forgot his current "prisoner" status.
Nor did he realize that the "super psychopath killer" he described was standing right in front of him.
And because of his words, his brow furrowed slightly, a dangerous flash of light flickering in his eyes, coldly staring at him.
"But what’s really troubling the Noah Organization isn’t how many Red Tiger Gang mbers died."
Xu Hao did not notice anything unusual and continued talking to himself, lowering his voice as if revealing a huge secret:
"It’s said that on that night, sothing extrely important, an ’Experintal Body’, went missing from Wu Shihao’s side. They’ve been tracking the murderer to reclaim the Experintal Body; that’s their most crucial task."
"Experintal Body?"
Fang Cheng’s eyes narrowed, quickly restraining the fierceness in his gaze, and asked:
"What is that? Any progress in the investigation?"
"It’s a live subject for dical experints, how would I know the details."
Xu Hao shook his head, his face revealing so helplessness:
"They are extrely cautious, maintaining strict confidentiality outside. I’m just a rookie who recently joined the organization and can’t access such core information. I only know they value this Experintal Body a lot, investing considerable manpower and resources."
Fang Cheng was silent for a mont, digesting all the information, then suddenly turned his attention, looking sharply at Xu Hao:
"The changes in your body, and the ’Experintal Body’ you ntioned, are all related to the Noah Organization’s secret human modification experints, right?"
Xu Hao, upon hearing this, showed a self-mocking smile and slumped weakly on the sofa:
"You already know so much, why even ask..."
This was as good as acknowledging.
He may well be one of Noah Organization’s many failed or half-finished "Experintal Bodies."
Fang Cheng nodded, not pursuing the topic further.
Looking at the man in front of him, whose confidence was thoroughly crushed, Fang Cheng slowly spoke, making a demand that left Xu Hao astounded:
"From today, you’ll be my insider, contacting regularly and telling all you know about the Special Search Team and the Noah Organization."
Xu Hao abruptly lifted his head, looked at Fang Cheng in shock, and for a mont couldn’t speak.
"You also want to be your insider?"
Fang Cheng looked at him with an odd expression, catching a key word.
What does "also" an?
Realizing he slipped, Xu Hao quickly shut his mouth, his eyes showing so evasiveness.
Fang Cheng didn’t dwell too much on that issue; he then smiled slightly:
"Exactly. You should understand, it’s the best choice for you, perhaps even your only choice."
"Otherwise, the Red Tiger Gang will eventually find out your secrets with the Special Search Team, and you know better than what consequences you’ll face then."
Fang Cheng’s tone seed calm yet carried an undeniable weight.
Xu Hao sat on the sofa, agitatedly scratching his head, his face a mix of reluctance and helplessness.
Seeing his struggling expression, Fang Cheng continued to increase the pressure:
"Moreover, since you’re already cooperating with the Special Search Team, what’s another task for you? Lice don’t itch with a lot, debts don’t bother when many, it’s all the sa."
