Dazzling lights, exhilarating music, deafening cheers.
At the center of the stage, Cheng Jiashu, dressed in a fashionable performance outfit, passionately perford a rhythmically intense and energetic dance alongside the team of backup dancers.
Every move of his was filled with strength and beauty, and his high-pitched, magnetic singing instantly ignited the passion of all the fans below the stage.
The glow sticks converged into a colorful ocean, with screams and cheers reverberating, almost lifting the entire studio’s ceiling.
The dance music abruptly stopped on the final strong note.
Cheng Jiashu stood still at the center of the stage, slightly panting, with fine beads of sweat on his forehead, yet his face was glowing with a brilliant smile.
He spread his arms wide, closed his eyes, as if relishing the overwhelming applause.
Under the spotlight, his well-defined face appeared particularly handso, and the sweat trickling down his jawline added a hint of sexy wildness.
A mont later, he opened his eyes, his pupils sparkling like stars, and bowed deeply towards the audience below.
"Thank you, everyone! Thank you!"
The fans’ shouts, like waves, beca even more enthusiastic than before, lasting for a long ti.
"Cheng Jiashu! Cheng Jiashu! Cheng Jiashu!"
Amidst the deafening shouts, he smiled and waved his hand.
The host also walked onto the stage with a smile:
"Thank you, Jiashu, for bringing us such a fantastic performance! And thanks to all the friends present and those watching the live broadcast! See you next ti..."
Amidst the thunderous applause, Cheng Jiashu turned and walked off the stage, back to the exclusive dressing room backstage.
Hardly had he sat down when the door to the dressing room was pushed open.
His manager, Zhang Hui, walked in briskly in high heels, a smile and excitent on her face.
"Jiashu, your performance tonight was amazing! The atmosphere from the audience was about to explode, and just now the director said the ratings soared a lot!"
As Zhang Hui spoke, she placed a laptop and a printed schedule on the dressing table.
"Tomorrow’s Saturday, as per usual, you get a day off."
"Next week’s schedule is right here, Monday there’s a fashion magazine cover shoot, Wednesday you need to attend a charity gala, and Friday there’s an important comrcial brand endorsent launch event. Have a look, I’ve annotated all the details."
Cheng Jiashu took the printed schedule but did not look at it imdiately.
He simply leaned against the large dressing chair with so weariness, rubbing his brow.
"Sister Hui, I feel a bit tired lately, I’d like a few more days of rest."
His voice was slightly hoarse, as if he had put too much into the performance just now.
Hearing this, Zhang Hui’s smile slightly froze, then she moved closer to him with concern, reaching out to feel his forehead.
"Are you feeling unwell? Your schedule has indeed been too packed lately, it’s my oversight."
Her tone beca much gentler, and her eyes showed so worries.
"How about this, we’ll keep the charity gala next week, you just need to make an appearance."

"Take a good rest at ho, adjust your state, health cos first."
Zhang Hui quickly said, displaying a side of decisiveness and efficiency as a top manager.
Cheng Jiashu softly acknowledged, just as he was about to say more, his head suddenly felt swollen.
Imdiately following, a sustained buzzing sounded in his ears, as if countless bees were flapping their wings.
The chaotic noise surged around him like a torrent, from all directions.
A blurry image, accompanied by eerie calls, abruptly erged deep in his mind.
Cheng Jiashu’s face changed slightly, he suddenly clutched his forehead, fingers digging deeply into his hair.
"Jiashu? What’s wrong with you?" Zhang Hui imdiately noticed the anomaly, asking worriedly.
She quickly walked to her handbag, took out a white bottle of pills, poured out two tablets for Cheng Jiashu, and opened a bottle of mineral water.
The label on the pill bottle clearly read—"Risperidone Tablets."
"Is the old issue acting up again? Quickly take the dicine."
Cheng Jiashu took the pills without hesitation, swallowing them with water, his Adam’s apple bobbing slightly.
The bitterness of the pills slid down his throat.
He closed his eyes, taking deep breaths, trying to calm the chaos in his mind.
After a mont, the strong dizziness and buzzing in his ears were sowhat relieved.
At least, the faint calling temporarily disappeared.
Cheng Jiashu breathed a sigh of relief, his gaze involuntarily turning to the reflection of himself in the mirror before him.
The face in the mirror appeared slightly pale, yet still handso and glamorous, the perfect idol that legions of fans went crazy for.
But only he knew what kind of fatigue and indescribable restlessness were hiding beneath the dazzling façade at this mont.
"I’m alright now, Sister Hui, maybe just too tired recently, so rest will do."
Cheng Jiashu forced a smile and said to Zhang Hui:
"I want to go back early to rest, I’ll skip the dinner party tonight. I’ll drive myself back, you all don’t have to follow , get off work early."
Zhang Hui, seeing his expression, was sowhat worried but nodded:
"Be careful on the road, send a text when you get ho. The car keys are in your coat pocket."
"Got it."
Cheng Jiashu got up, took off his performance outfit, put on the coat hanging on the chair, and donned a baseball cap, quickly tidying his personal belongings.
