Just as everyone was feeling desperate, waiting for fate to arrive.
Bang!
A sudden loud noise echoed, deafening, as if a shell had slamd into the wall.
The entire floor trembled violently, dust falling from the ceiling.
Imdiately after.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A series of brutal collisions followed, like the dense pounding of war drums.
Accompanied by the imnse sound of twisting steel and cracking cent, pounding on everyone’s heart.
The sound seed to co from the other side of the hall.
Zhou Liang suddenly opened his eyes wide, his pupils contracting sharply.
He forced himself to remain calm, his gaze fixed through the writhing gaps of the monsters, staring intently into the depths of the gray mist.
There, a figure was willingly rushing into that terrifying monster crowd, engaging them in primal hand-to-hand combat.
No gunfire roared, only the sharp sonic boom of fists tearing through the air, and the dull thuds into flesh.
Sparks flew in the intense impact, the whistling airflow from the punches parted the thick mist around, creating a vacuum.
Making the silhouette of the battle increasingly clear.
That figure swung their fists like a bomber filled with ammunition.
Every punch ca down with a violent explosion and shockwave, blowing the monsters into pieces.
A muscular giant nearly three ters tall, didn’t even have ti to scream before a Straight Punch capable of piercing steel shattered half of its body.
The enormous body was thrown backward like a torn sack, knocking over a large group of monsters along the way.
Imdiately following, a gigantic insect-like creature covered in a black shell was grabbed barehanded by that figure.
With a sharp tearing sound that made one’s teeth ache, its hard shell was forcibly ripped apart, the innards and broken shell pieces scattered and splattered, with foul-slling blood and flesh falling everywhere.
Just as the figure finished off the insect creature, a shadow launched a rapid attack from behind.
It was an agile alien with sharp Bone Spurs.
However, the figure, as if having eyes on their back, did not dodge, instead turning abruptly and leaping into the air.
Bang!
A heavy leg containing unstoppable force fiercely kicked the attacker in the lower body.
The alien creature let out a harrowing scream, its entire body twisted and deford instantly, propelled by the imnse force like a cannonball towards the rear wall.
With a trendous bang.
The wall instantly dented into a deep crater, several centiters thick, with countless cracks spreading like a spider web around.
Such wild and savage combat stance made Zhou Liang forget to breathe, his eyes filled only with the blurred figure clashing at high speed.
Those grotesque and terrifying monsters now seed to have t their nesis.
Or rather... encountered sothing even more terrifying than them.
They were utterly powerless to resist, their brief attempts completely ineffective, they all let out terrified howls, fleeing in panic.
The woman-faced larvae that had been relentlessly chasing them was the first to twist its body and dart fearfully into the deepest darkness of the hallway.
In just over ten seconds, the originally crowded and writhing hall was forcefully cleared out.
Whoosh——
The punch wind subsided, the dispersed mist pouring back rapidly, filling the entire hall once more, engulfing everything again.
Zhou Liang and the others stood there in astonishnt, their minds blank.
As if they had just watched a horror movie or experienced a dream.
Out of the deep silence and heavy mist, a voice drifted out.
"Why are there these bugs everywhere?"
The voice was clear and bright, with an unmistakable tone of disgust.
The crowd stared blankly towards the direction the voice ca from.
In the mist, a figure slowly walked forward.
Tap, tap.
The footsteps were light, yet seed to step upon the beating of their hearts.
Each step crunched and snapped on the scattered limbs of monsters on the ground, producing a bone-chilling sound.
Two scarlet eyes lit up in the darkness.
The figure drew closer, growing increasingly clear—
A deathly pale face devoid of any trace of blood erged faintly from the mist.
Two unnatural ridges rose and snaked across the forehead, like horns of a newly birthed demon.
The corners of the mouth curled into a faint grin, neither smiling nor unsmiling, the eye corners arched upward, drawing a ghostly curve.
This face bore an ominous ferocity, yet exuded an extraordinary aura of nace.
Recalling the earlier scene of hand-ripping monsters, made everyone feel like they’d witnessed the descent of a malevolent deity.
Plop.
The figure finally stopped a few ters away from them.
He stood tall, his gaze lowered.
His scarlet eyes swept over the team mbers, who appeared on high alert, and the security guards sitting helplessly on the ground.
Zhou Liang widened his eyes, staring intently at that face.
Finally, he realized it wasn’t naturally fierce, but a white mask concealing the real face.
He swallowed hard, a slight sound erging from his dry throat, cautiously speaking:
"Sir, we’re from the Special Search Team, tasked with a mission at the Noah Building, inadvertently ran into trouble, trapped here."
He tried to make his tone sound steady and sincere.
"You seem... like you’re not allied with the Noah Organization, perhaps we could join forces..."
As his voice faded,
"Special Search Team?"
The masked figure lifted his head, those scarlet eyes sweeping towards him, seemingly considering sothing.
Beside him, Ali stared blankly at the familiar yet strange mask, as if a string was plucked in his mind, suddenly blurting out:
