"I was just hungry and wanted to go downstairs to the kitchen to find sothing to eat, but the entire first floor was pitch-black, not a servant in sight."
"I called out a few tis and no one responded, so I decided to turn back upstairs, but... but at the staircase, I felt... soone watching from behind!"
Her voice carried a hint of tremor:

Saying this, she looked pitifully at Fang Cheng.

He carefully controlled this Strength, the fla was intense but did not spread outward, it did not ignite clothing nor burn the carpet underneath.
In the dark room, he looked like a golden statue emitting a soft glow.
As the visualization deepened, Fang Cheng’s perception seed to extend silently outward along with the golden fla.
The faint sound of wind brushing against the curtains, the distant chirping of night insects, the scent of dust in the air.
Even the steady heartbeats of the two girls in the room...
Everything clearly fed back into his mind.
The night grew deeper.
The whole Chen Family Mansion seed like a slumbering giant beast, crouching on the dark mountainside.
The oppression and eeriness covered by dayti luxury were now released without reservation.
The wind passed through the trees in the courtyard, making a wailing sound, like a woman sobbing.
On the corridor, the sensing lamps flickered, shadows stretched and twisted on the empty ground, like a struggling Ghost Shadow.
It seed that sothing unseen was silently drifting down the corridor.
