Fang Cheng then gave a slight smile:
"I have so clues about where the killer is hiding."
Bai Ling imdiately asked eagerly:
"Where?"
Lin Chuqiao quickly reacted, looking at him and guessing:
"Are you talking about near those woods from last night?"
Fang Cheng nodded, his tone revealing confidence:

"It turned out scarier than a horror film, kept up all night thinking about bugs and skulls..."
The expression on Chen Xu’an’s face in the back seat remained taut, showing no reaction to his words.
He simply gazed out the window, fully revealing the heavy heart of a noble family’s young master in tis of family crisis.
Seeing this, Pan Wendi stopped speaking further, focusing back on driving.
Ahead, the imposing gates of the Chen Family Manor ca into view.
He perked up, lightly honked twice.
At the guard booth by the gate, a security guard quickly walked out, intending to question them.
Upon seeing Chen Xu’an in the car, he hurried over, respectfully bowed and greeted:
"Second Young Master, you’re back?"
Chen Xu’an did not respond, rely lifted his eyes to glance at him, his gaze indifferent, then indicated towards the gate with his chin.
"Open the gate."
"Yes, yes!"
The guard imdiately understood, not daring to ask further.
Though puzzled why the second young master returned in a strange Lincoln car, he imdiately turned around and used a walkie-talkie to notify the control room to open the gate.

The heavy, ornate iron gates slowly slid open on both sides.
The vehicle smoothly drove in, until entirely out of the guard’s sight.
In the back seat, Chen Xu’an’s previously tense expression suddenly dropped.
Then, winking playfully at Fang Cheng, he spoke in a completely different crisp feminine voice:
"So, how did I do with my performance?"
"Click!"
Before Fang Cheng could answer, the driving Pan Wendi turned his head, dramatically giving a thumbs up:
"Perfect! Bai Ling, with your acting skills, you’re wasted not winning an Oscar!"
"Do you know, that look just now, that presence, it was exactly Chen Xu’an himself."
"Of course!"
Bai Ling proudly rubbed her sowhat stiff cheeks, reverting to her lively self.
