Looking at the ancient castle-like library built with thick grey stone, the whole structure occupies a vast area, and the layered grey stone hues make it look dreary and heavy.
This wasn't just a library; it was entirely the entrance to Nazarick Underground Tomb!
Li Qing couldn't help but complain inwardly as he stepped up the stairs, reaching the library's door covered with strange carvings.
The mont he softly touched it, the academy badge suddenly lit up, fierce magic ripples spread continuously, connecting to the door carvings.

An almost imperceptible sound ca from the door, then all the magic ripples dissipated, and the door silently opened.
Unable to discern the inside, it seed everything was swallowed by shadows, murky and indistinct.
Mysterious, dark, filled with an offensive aura.
Despite the aversion in his heart, Li Qing continued forward, stepping inside resolutely.

The silent door closing sound echoed, prompting Li Qing to glance back. He stood for a long ti, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the environnt, seeing rows and rows of bookshelves filled with countless books, extending beyond sight, illuminated by so unknown dim light source.

Li Qing scanned around silently, not paying much attention. In Gray, everyone had their secrets; he needed only to mind his own business. Just as he was about to head towards the bookshelves, a familiar voice ca from the side.
"Dear human student, friendly reminder: if you're not at a certain level of strength, browsing high-tier magic books might get you devoured~"
That tone and teasing voice, it had to be Zhuang Xu.
He turned his head, eyes wide as he looked into the shadowy corner, finally spotting the silhouette of a desk, Zhuang Xu in a black robe nearly blending into the darkness.
Li Qing cautiously said, "Oh, it's Instructor Zhuang Xu, hello!"
Zhuang Xu, resembling a slender ghostly figure, laughed oddly, leaning forward slightly, at last allowing Li Qing to see him clearly.
Zhuang Xu's hands were crossed on the desk, his crimson eyes gleaming with interest as he eyed Li Qing up and down.
After a long mont, he spoke with surprised eyes, "You seem to have condensed magic power?"
He abruptly stood up, his nearly 2.5-ter tall lean body exuding a pressure that slightly thickened the air.
Li Qing stood still, his hands tightly clenched under his robe, gazing motionlessly at the close-by, seemingly scent-sniffing Zhuang Xu.
After a while, Zhuang Xu sat back down.
"Interesting... You've brought so nice interest, giving a bit of novelty in days devoid of life's delight."
