The Mage Promotion Path only discusses the standards for mage hierarchy and the various paths that stem from magic.

Li Qing snapped alert and turned to look, relaxing upon seeing the person in black robes. On the foggy, obscure path, where the surroundings were unclear, he felt a shiver down his spine.
Although the Gray Magic Academy prohibits student fights, this person ca over with an enticing aspect, clearly with ill intentions.
This guy was hunched and had a bulking fra, standing at least one ter ninety tall.
Moreover, Li Qing precisely caught that he ntioned "student from the human world," which further confird his suspicion.
Li Qing calmly asked, "Fellow student, what do you want?"
"Hey~ don't always be so wary of everything; humans are like this, extrely hostile to non-human creatures."
He shrugged, speaking with a casual tone, "I'm called Hertos, and you?"

The silent closing sound of the library's door echoed, causing Li Qing to glance back. He stood for a long while, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the environnt. He gazed at the rows of bookshelves filled with countless books, extending endlessly. An unknown dark light source illuminated the shelves, making them discernible.
Where's Hertos?
Li Qing silently scanned around, not caring much. In Gray, everyone has their secrets; you just need to mind your own business. Just as he was about to walk to the bookshelf, a familiar voice ca from beside him.
"Human friend, let remind you, if your power hasn't reached a certain level, browsing high-level magic books might end up being eaten~"
This intonation, this teasing voice must belong to Zhuang Xu.
He turned his eyes wide, looking at the edge's shadow in the corner, finally seeing the outline of a desk, with the robe-clad Zhuang Xu behind it, almost blending with the darkness.
Li Qing cautiously said, "So it's ntor Zhuang Xu, hello!"
Looking like a slender ghostly figure, Zhuang Xu laughed strangely, tipping forward his figure slightly until Li Qing could clearly see him.

After quite a while, he said with a surprised look, "You seem to have gathered Magic Power?"
He rose suddenly, his body, nearly two and a half ters tall and thin, brought a sense of pressure that made the air relatively heavy.
Li Qing stood still, his hands tightly clenched beneath his robe, unmoving as he stared at the nearby Zhuang Xu, seemingly sniffing the air.
After a long while, Zhuang Xu sat down again.
"Interesting... you've piqued my interest, bringing a fresh twist to my dull days." Zhuang Xu lowered his hands and interestingly asked, "So, thirty-year-old mortal, what talents awakened in you after becoming a mage?"
Without waiting for Li Qing to reply, he shrugged and said, "Alright, let's not talk about that; what are you looking for in the library?"
