Li Qing felt sowhat displeased inside, being looked at like this by an animal? No matter how average, he was still a person.

As he walked closer, he was surprised to see the owl biting onto a roll of brown paper, tied with a black ribbon in a neat bow.

For a mont, Li Qing was a bit dumbfounded, but after confirming that the owl just wanted to give him the roll of brown paper it was holding, he cautiously opened the window in one go.

Flap, flap, flap!!

He almost forgot that the window where he lived opened outward, watching the owl flap its wings frantically, screaming as it fell.

"Hoo~~Hoo~~~Hoo~~"

Li Qing, quick-eyed and nimble, caught the brown paper roll with one hand, then leaned out with his head to look down.

It was already late at night, and below was pitch black with only a few dim streetlights flickering in the distance, not a trace of the owl could be seen.

If it weren't for the brown paper roll in his hand, Li Qing would have thought this was all an illusion.

Looking at the brown paper roll in his hand, he suddenly realized this might be the admission letter that Zhuang Xu ntioned.

"Is it real?!"

Li Qing was filled with skepticism as he opened the paper that looked quite ancient, like a parchnt.

Pulling off the ribbon, he spread out the parchnt, which was covered with countless twisted patterns that seed a bit creepy.

He frowned, turning the parchnt around to examine it thoroughly and, seeing nothing unusual, was about to toss it aside when his hand suddenly stopped, eyes wide open.

The strange symbols on the top of the parchnt began twisting like countless black maggots, finally transforming into clear Chinese characters.

"What the hell, what the hell?! What the hell!!!!"

After muttering "what the hell" several tis, Li Qing looked at the contents with suspicious eyes.

"Is it real?!"

Li Qing felt both excited and thrilled. After thirty years of a dull life, he didn't expect such a fortuitous event on his birthday. Indeed, as Zhuang Xu said, it was a life turning point.

He felt a little apologetic for his earlier attitude towards Zhuang Xu's call. Just as he was about to pick up the phone to call back, he noticed there was no call log recorded. The most recent call was from his boss two days ago.

Is it really magic?

Seeing this bizarre scene, Li Qing quickly opened the call recordings but still couldn't find any recorded calls from the other party.

"What the hell..."

Li Qing had lost count of how many tis he had said "what the hell" today. The events of the day had nearly shattered his worldview, but thanks to his extensive exposure to countless online novels, he quickly adjusted his mindset and looked at the parchnt spread out on the table.

So clicking would show the books?

Li Qing reached out and gently tapped on the book "Magic Origin." The text on the parchnt began shifting rapidly, assembling as the black lines squird like black tadpoles.

In just about ten seconds, the contents of the sowhat antiquated, leather-like parchnt were no longer an admission letter but an interface resembling an e-book.

The first ti he opened it, there were even basic operation tips. If Li Qing didn't know that today's flexible screen technology hadn't reached this level, he'd really think it was those idle guys deliberately bewitching others.

After flattening out the crumpled, unknown-material parchnt back on the table, he cald his excitent and went to the restroom, washed his face with cold water, sobered up, and then sat at the table prim and proper to read carefully.

"Magic exists in all things in the world, but it originates from God. It is a discipline recorded by Gods observing the Cosmos from a perspective beyond the mundane, and passed down through so form of carrier. When God is drowsy, the knowledge carrying magic was discovered by wise beings, and eventually, humans, who study, use, and delve into its essence.

Like the primal light, the stars in the Cosmos constantly emit endless light and heat, life, destruction. However, how are they ford, and how should we use them...?"

It was past three in the morning when Li Qing, rubbing his dry eyes, reluctantly set the parchnt aside.

He had read only a little over twenty pages of "Magic Origin," with a whopping thirteen hundred and twenty pages left. But from what he had learned so far, magic was not like in online novels, where countless wandering elents or energy exist between the heavens and the earth, and magic power is extracted from these following certain magic compositions.

To him, being a mage seed more like an approach of exploring the natural world purely through one's own Spirit, without external tools.

"Magic Origin" is essentially about all natural physical phenona in the world and explains their operations and constructions from a magical perspective.

For instance, light, from a scientific perspective, is broadly defined as electromagnetic radiation from the entire spectrum from the sun, of which daylight is filtered by Earth's atmosphere.

But how these lights are ford is typically due to hydrogen turning into helium in stars, and probing deeper, why nuclear reactions continue happening inside stars...

In magical terms, this is due to the continuous decay of energy density, with super high-quality energy levels continuously declining, thus releasing trendous energy.

The scientific community also holds this view, where energy is constantly released during the drop of energy levels.

Magic and science share many similarities in exploring the Cosmos.
