Seeing that Kaede was slowly regaining her cheerfulness, I felt slightly relieved. I did promise to help her out after becoming her friend but I was too busy with my girls.
I took a seat next to her and talked to her for a while. She might be surprised at how many girls are around but Kaede attributed it to, according to her own words, my 'boundless charisma' which she lacked.
She also said that thanks to my encouragent, she's now returned to running in the morning. She might not return to her club yet but she's not going to let all her hard work from years before dissipate just because. of those hateful seniors.
After that was done, I finished eating with my girls and I stepped out to contact Akane, Fuyu,
and the other girls.
Because I still have to report to Hayashi and see Shio, Ryouko-san, and Orimura-sensei, our group dispersed back to the school building.
