With the school day ending for this week, I made sure to spend a little more ti with my girls as I escorted them to their stations and stops. And that includes the girls from the other school.
I didn't go straight ho and instead went to et them outside or near their houses.
Hitomi would be coming to pick up at the house so I made sure to visit everyone before imrsing myself in the upcoming challenge.
Unfortunately, a short visit like that was clearly not enough to fill the longing that had been accumulating for so of them. As a solution, most of them will be going to visit tomorrow. Of course, that doesn't an I can stay all day with them as I also have other plans for the day like the visit to the Itou Family's hotel, checking in on Yayoi-san and maybe eting up with Juri or Setsuna-nee to discuss our 'dates'.
Well, I think I can manage to cram those all up and still have the ti to spend quality ti with my girls who will be visiting. As for Marika's Aunt, I'll be visiting her again after my part-ti job.
Upon arriving ho, Akane was ready with a proper suit that I could use for tonight's dinner. Miwa-nee was also there, clearly waiting to help with polishing my appearance.
"Husband, you have to make sure they'll be speechless with your appearance." Akane giggled, holding out the suit for as we stood before a full-body mirror.
I hadn't even changed out of my uniform yet but they were already this eager.
Well, there's a reason for that.
Hitomi's car was already parked outside and she was right there seated on the sofa with Minoru on her lap. Despite her stoic nature, the boy still managed to make her smile with his cuteness. Or maybe it had to do with the boy having similar features to ?
She's a little early though. The dinner is 8:30 pm and it's only a little over 7 pm. I don't mind. It ans I'll also have ti to pamper her.
"Hitomi, what do you think? Will this suit ?" I called out to her while staring at her reflection in the mirror.
Without missing a beat, she looked up and took a mont to scrutinize from afar, her gaze lingering on my face, "Yes. As you may have already guessed, that suit is chosen after discussing it with everyone. I brought that from the boutique. I believe it's a perfect fit for tonight's dinner."
Right. I couldn't recall having this suit in my wardrobe, much less, my father's closet. But for them to discuss it amongst themselves, I guess they had the consensus of what's best for .
I'm not complaining. If I picked the suit myself, I might really pick sothing out of place. While I wasn't too illiterate when it ca to fashion sense, my taste was quite bland. Plus, it's not like I had the luxury of having designer clothes thrown at every ti.
"Ah. That's not the only suit I brought, Ruki-sama. We decided on three different styles, you can take a pick if that doesn't suit your taste." Hitomi continued while Akane nodded before gesturing to Miwa-nee who brought out two more suits.
The suit styles really varied yet they all appeared to be the best selection when it cos to my physique and posture. I had to admit, these girls really knew what they were doing. They wouldn't take any other result but success in this upcoming dinner with Otoha's family.
"Alright, Ruki, pick one of the three before I fix your hair," Miwa-nee said with a smile, as she put down the suits and approached with a comb and hair gel in hand. Akane also disappeared for a while before returning with her makeup kit that she seldom used.
"What? Makeup?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows in surprise.
"I'm only going to use the foundation! I promise!" Akane assured with a cheeky grin as she held up the makeup brush. "Even though you're already handso as you are, there's nothing wrong with a little enhancent, right?"
I sighed, knowing that once she gets started, there's no stopping her. Besides, even Hitomi and Miwa-nee were agreeing with the idea.
Perhaps, even if I called the other girls and asked for their opinion, they would all agree as well.
I nodded in defeat, "Fine."
Miwa-nee and Akane worked in harmony, with Miwa-nee taking the lead in styling my hair and Akane carefully applying the makeup. Hitomi, who was watching the proceedings while occasionally stroking Minoru's head, gave her input on what could be Otoha's parents' preference.
"I think the navy blue suit would be best, Ruki-sama. It exudes confidence and maturity." She suggested, stroking her chin as if in deep thought. "Your hairstyle also just needed to be more formal. Her mother always calls you scrawny whenever Otoha brings you up, so this should give her a good impression."
"You're right. But it shouldn't be too formal or they may accuse you of being a tryhard to impress," Akane chid in with a serious expression. She's clearly not amused about Otoha's mother's nitpicking.
"Ruki is already handso, you two should rest assured. He'll just blow them away with his words. After all, that's his best feature," Miwa-nee said with a knowing smile as she worked on my hair, giving it a more sophisticated look.
And just like this, fifteen minutes flew by and I found myself dressed to the nines, looking more like a prince than the usual laid-back high school student.
"I'm falling in love again, husband." Akane gushed as she stepped back to admire her handiwork.
Miwa-nee and Akane stepped aside, allowing to gaze at my reflection in the mirror. The navy blue suit indeed complinted my features, highlighting more of my confident gait and mature appearance.
Akane had applied just the right amount of makeup to highlight my eyes and complexion without making look like a kabuki actor. My hair was styled neatly, framing my face in a way that made seem more sophisticated.
When I stood before the mirror again, it was like seeing another person entirely.
"Alright, husband. Look at the cara and pose. Let's share this image of you with everyone." The silly girl giggled as she grabbed my hand, pulling into a pose she thought would make look the most appealing.
With her phone in hand, she started snapping photos of in various poses.
Well, it's for the girls, there's no reason to complain.
After a while, the preparation was over and Hitomi looked at her watch, "It's almost ti, Ruki-sama. We should get going."
"Don't worry about eating dinner with us, husband. Focus on the challenge ahead."
"Un. Show them that Otoha didn't choose wrongly."
Akane and Miwa-nee waved off as I stepped out of the house with Hitomi. Minoru looked on, seemingly confused by the sudden change in routine.
I patted the boy's head before kissing both Akane and Miwa-nee, whispering to them, "Mhm, I'll win them over for sure."
Turning around, Hitomi had already opened the backseat door for , but I just walked over to the other side, opened the driver's door and pushed her inside before I moved over to the passenger's seat.
She's also my woman. I won't take it if she acts like a chauffeur for .
"Hitomi, we still have ti before the dinner, right? Why don't we take a detour?" I suggested with a mischievous smile as she started the car.
