Several minutes later, after an awkward silence had eventually ensued, the four of us tidied up.
Kushii slid off my lap, An-rin jumped up to turn on the lights and turn off the TV, and Chii pulled my pants up.
"Alright, Onoda-han," An-rin piped up as she returned, trying to regain her chaotic gremlin energy. "Don't think you can just, like, pull that stunt again and expect to jump in. I'm a scientist, not so… so harem recruit!"
I tilted my head and snorted, "Since when are you a scientist? Was your research about that kind of subject? When should I expect a lab report submission from you?"
Not expecting I would fire back like that, the girl erupted once again as she glared at indignantly, "Hmph! You're the worst, Onoda-han. You know that? Total pervert vibes. Bet you're already planning to tease us for the coming days! Don't even try!"
"Tease you? Don't worry, An-rin. No one will know about what happened except us. My lips are sealed. No way I will try to embarrass you over it. Unless… you want to brag about it to the others."
"O-of course not!" The girl swiftly replied with a stutter as she yanked the sleeve of my shirt.
"Alright, Kii. Stop teasing her. Did you bring that miraculous tea? I'll brew it while you help them clean up here." Chii pinched my cheek before turning to Kushii, "And you two, no more funny business. It's getting late… We still have to take a shower and prepare our bed."
Kushii and An-rin nodded in unison but their expressions couldn't be more different.
Kushii's face still held that dreamy glow as if she still hadn't recovered from earlier. An-rin, on the other hand, kept her glare up as she pulled up from the couch, ready to command with whatever she could think of.
"Mhm. Tea sounds good. It's in my bag. Akane packed a few leaves for it. That silly girl knows I'll need it."
I playfully said as I pointed to where my bag is.
Chii rolled her eyes before whispering, "Yeah, right. Pervert Kii."
anwhile, Kushii and An-rin tilted their heads as the 'miraculous' tea had just registered in their heads. They're curious as to what was miraculous about it, waiting for to fill them in.
And when I did tell them that it's sothing that could make us all feel refreshed in the morning, no matter how late we sleep, they both looked at with narrowed eyes and knowing expressions.
Yep. They imagined what the reason could be for needing to drink sothing like that.
I left out the details about its side effect on though… I an, it's unnecessary, right? Or is it?
Anyway, I shrugged and started picking up the ss on the coffee table before casually saying, "Don't worry, An-rin, I'll keep my pervert vibes in check."
With that, Kushii blushed again while An-rin's glare sharpened. If looks could kill, she would've stabbed multiple tis already.
"Hmph. You better, Onoda-han. I'm, like, totally onto you now. One wrong move, and I'm—uh, I'm gonna… do sothing chaotic! Yeah!"
This girl… what did she an by that?
"Sure, sure. Sothing chaotic, huh? I'm curious what it will be." I replied, giving her a playful wink before turning to help Kushii tidy up the couch.
The scattered pillows and slightly wrinkled blanket were the only evidence of our earlier… activities.
When I drew near her, Kushii closed in quietly as she intentionally let our fingers brush against each other as we worked.
I caught her stealing glances at .
"You okay, Kushii?" I asked in a low voice, trying to gauge what she was thinking.
The girl nodded quickly before her lips curved up slightly as she clutched a pillow to her chest. "Y-yeah, Onoda-shi. I just… can't seem to forget it. But don't worry! I'll be, like, totally fine later!"
Her voice dropped to a whisper at the last word before lowering her head. Look at her acting this adorable. Isn't this cheating?
But then again, I was the one who caused her to act this way.
I gave her a reassuring smile, resisting the urge to pull her into a hug right then and there.
"I see. No pressure to do anything more, alright? Just let know what you're comfortable with."
She gave a small nod as her lips curled into a shy but genuine smile. "Thanks, Onoda-shi."
"Sweet, huh? Don't let An-rin hear that. She'll accuse of faking it to lure you into my 'pervert sches' again."
I kept my voice low as I mimicked An-rin's dramatic tone, which earned a soft giggle from Kushii.
From the kitchen, Chii's voice cut through the mont.
"Kii, you better not be flirting over there while I'm making our tea. I'm gonna be more jealous!"
Does she have a third eye or what? Anyway, we're not flirting. I'm just checking on them.
After responding to Chii, I then moved to An-rin's side, making her flustered again and slowing down our work.
By the ti Chii returned with the teapot, the chaotic gremlin was hitting my shoulder in frustration while Kushii watched on from the side, chuckling at our banter.
I then helped serve the tea, telling them more about it. Where I got it and how effective it was.
Sohow, despite my attempt to keep the 'side effect' a secret. Chii accidentally brought it up, causing another tilt of the two gyaru's heads.
Left with no choice, I explained it to them and almost instantly. I got smacked in my face by the flustered An-rin as she called a pervert again.
Kushii, on the other hand, simply stared at . I had no idea what's going on in her head but I bet it's anything but pure.
Ten minutes later, as we finished the tea, it was ti to decide the order of who would take a bath first.
Although Chii would probably love to take a bath with , An-rin, being the host for tonight, expressly said that we couldn't take a bath together.
Or at least, she reasoned out that their bathtub was too small to accommodate two. And before Chii could argue that we could squeeze in together by putting her on my lap and spooning her from behind, An-rin threw her a playful glare, cutting her off mid-sentence.
"Nuh-uh, Chizuru! No funny business in my bathroom! You're not turning my tub into so steamy romance scene, got it?"
Chii pouted, crossing her arms dramatically. "Hmph, fine, Miss Party Pooper. But don't act like you're not curious about squeezing in with Kii yourself."
Not expecting that retort, An-rin's face flared red again as she waved her hands frantically.
"W-what?! ? With Onoda-han? As if! I'm, like, totally not into that! I'm just keeping things… civilized, okay?"
Kushii also interjected, taking a jab at her friend. "Civilized, huh? Says the girl who was, like, totally lting earlier… Did it feel good? Having Onoda-shi suck on you."
"Shut it, Kushii!" An-rin snapped, though her flustered grin betrayed her attempt at indignation. "You're not one to talk, Miss 'I'm gonna be bold tonight'! Was Onoda-han that delicious you couldn't even lift your head earlier?"
I raised my hands, trying to diffuse the brewing chaos before it could escalate.
"Alright, alright, ladies. Let's not start a war over bath ti. How about we draw straws or sothing? Fair and square."
Chii smirked, leaning back with a teasing glint in her eye. "Oh, Kii. There you go again. Diffusing the situation before it turns into another uncontrollable situation. You playboy. Fine, straws it is. But if I win, I'm totally sneaking in with you anyway."
Covering her face, An-rin groaned before grabbing a handful of pens from a nearby cup to use as makeshift straws.
"That's NG, Chizuru! But fine, the shortest pen goes first. And no cheating!"
With that, we each drew a pen, and after a bit of squabbling and laughter, the order was decided:
Kushii first, then An-rin, followed by Chii, and obviously, I'd go last. I did rember which pen was the longest and drew it, after all.
In any case, An-rin insisted on the separate baths, muttering sothing about 'not letting our bathti turn into a total perv fest.'. Also, to save electricity or sothing. But her blush suggested she wasn't entirely opposed to the idea in theory.
Looks like I corrupted another pure maiden… or a gyaru, rather. Ah. To be so sinful. I should go to a confessional soti and ask to be forgiven.
Alright. Enough joking. I guess… our night isn't going to end soon.
