He lifted his foot and viciously kicked Ziyang’s abdon, causing Ziyang to stagger back a few steps before he could steady himself.
"Dad!" Tianxin frantically struggled, her face covered in tears as she looked anxiously at Ziyang, shouting, "Brother Ziyang, you should leave quickly!"
If he didn’t leave, her dad would beat him to death; she didn’t want to see him get beaten!
She turned to her dad, her voice hoarse as she scread, "Dad, don’t hit Brother Ziyang! It was who clung to him; it was I who wanted to be with him! It’s none of his business!"
"Shut up!"
"Master, let Tianxin go. I am willing to accept any punishnt! Just don’t hit her again!" Ziyang gritted his teeth as he spoke, the pain in his abdon and shoulder causing sweat to appear on his forehead.
"You would accept anything?!" Huo Shaohua sneered.
"Yes!" Ziyang replied.
Huo Shaohua said nothing more, raising his hand and hurling the wooden stick at Ziyang!
"Brother Ziyang!" Tianxin scread in fright, her face as pale as paper.
Ziyang didn’t dodge, the family rod struck his head, imdiately drawing blood.
The wooden stick fell to the ground, still intact, making a slight sound.
"Let go!" Tianxin struggled desperately, her screams turning frantic, her tears blurring her vision.
She broke free from Huo Shaohua’s grip, but after two steps, she stumbled powerlessly to the ground.
Ziyang rushed forward to help her, but Huo Shaohua stepped in to block him.
Grabbing Ziyang’s shirt, he clenched his fist and punched him in the head, then forcefully kicked Ziyang away.
Ziyang fell to the ground, embarrassed, with even more blood streaming from his head.
Blood poured from the corner of his mouth as he supported himself on the ground to stand up.
"Co here!" Huo Shaohua roared.
Imdiately two black-clad bodyguards entered, standing beside Huo Shaohua waiting for instructions.
"Take the young miss back to her room and keep an eye on her; she is not to leave without my orders!"
"Yes!" The two bodyguards nodded, they helped the fallen Tianxin and led her towards the door.
"Let go!" Tianxin yelled in despair, turning her head to look at the bleeding Ziyang.
She struggled, unwilling to leave; she didn’t want to leave, she wanted to be with Brother Ziyang.
Ziyang shook his head at her, mouthing silently, "I’m fine."
"I don’t want to..." Tianxin protested as she fought her way through words, but before she could finish, everything went black and she fainted.
She had a terrifying dream, dreaming that her dad wouldn’t allow her to see Brother Ziyang.
Forcing them to separate, she could never see Brother Ziyang again.
She didn’t want to not see Brother Ziyang—no!
She dreamt again that Brother Ziyang didn’t want her anymore, and even married soone else...
She rushed to stop him from getting married, but he didn’t even recognize her.
He didn’t know who she was at all...
No matter how she spoke, how she explained, he didn’t rember her, he was going to marry soone else, and not want her...
"No!" Tianxin jolted awake, gasping for breath as she opened her mouth to breathe.
Her chest rose and fell unevenly with her breathing, tears at the corners of her eyes, fear still evident in her gaze.
A few seconds later, she sat up and threw off the covers, intending to get out of bed to find Ziyang.
The mont she threw off the covers, a stinging pain hit the back of her hand, clearing her mind due to the pain.
She stopped moving, glanced around the room, realizing she was still in her room.
She also saw the IV bottle; without hesitation, she pulled the needle from the back of her hand.
As soon as she pulled it out, blood imdiately erged, but she ignored it, tossing off the covers to get out of bed.
The mont her feet touched the ground, she was in so much pain that she fell, curling up on the floor in tears from the pain.
The door opened and Ping ca in, quickly placing the things she was holding on the coffee table upon seeing Tianxin had fallen.
She rushed over to help Tianxin up, asking worriedly, "Miss, are you alright?"
"Where’s Brother Ziyang? How is he?" Tianxin asked, clutching Ping’s hand, worried about Brother Ziyang being in trouble.
The scenes in her dream were so terrifying, so real...
Could it be that Brother Ziyang really didn’t want her anymore...
