"Kids shouldn’t be given so many toys, just enough to play with is fine." Tian Xingyun massaged her temples, thinking about how spoiling Tianxin like this can’t go on.
"Playing with toys is what kids do every day, what’s wrong with that?"
"If you spoil her like this, what if she grows up to be as spoiled as Liu Xixi!" Tian Xingyun said, not intending to use Liu Xixi as a negative example.

Huo Shaohua smiled as he played with Tianxin. Though there were many toys, Tianxin couldn’t play with them all by herself.
But there would be many kids joining in the future, so there was no need to worry so much.
Tianxin happily played with a rabbit toy, sotis pulling its ears and sotis poking its eyes.
Watching this made him laugh, thinking his daughter was quite mischievous.

As soon as the car ca to a stop in the parking lot, his phone rang. It was Song Yi calling.
After hesitating for a few seconds, he answered: "Hello."
"Shaohua, it’s ." Mom Song’s cheerful voice ca through.
"What’s the matter?" Huo Shaohua’s tone was cold, showing none of the usual respect toward Mom Song.
He couldn’t treat Mom Song the way he used to, given she had tried to harm his daughter. It was a wonder he hadn’t given her a piece of his mind.
There was no reason to treat her well anymore, none at all!
"Yi isn’t feeling well, could you take her to the hospital?"
"I’m very busy at the company. You take her to the hospital, and I’ll co by after I finish up." Huo Shaohua smirked, suspecting Song Yi wasn’t sick but that it was a ploy by Mom Song.
"I asked her to go to the hospital, but she doesn’t want to. Could you co over and persuade her?" Mom Song continued, insisting he had to co over.
Song Yi sat down next to her mother and took the phone from her hand to speak: "Shaohua, I’m fine."
Song Yi indeed felt a bit unwell, but resting for a day had helped a lot, and there was no more bleeding.
She didn’t think much of it, as she had experienced this before.
Her period was due in a few days, and with so rest and caution, she’d be fine.
"Are you really okay?" Huo Shaohua raised an eyebrow.
"I’m really fine, it’s just my mom overreacting."
"If you’re fine, then that’s good. I’m busy now." Huo Shaohua said, ready to end the call.
"Shaohua..." Song Yi’s voice ca again through the phone. He brought the phone back to his ear.
"What else?" he asked coldly, showing no emotion.
"Have you been busy these days? I haven’t seen you much." Song Yi asked cautiously. Since he brought her back, they hadn’t t again.
They only occasionally exchanged texts, and their relationship had been growing more distant, making her very uneasy.
"Yes."
"Busy with what?"
"Company matters."
"Tianxin’s birthday is in a few days, right? Let’s buy her a gift after work." Song Yi suggested with a smile, but the pain in her eyes was hard to hide.
"Alright." Huo Shaohua was sowhat surprised she rembered Tianxin’s birthday.
"Okay, give a call after work, bye." Song Yi ended the call and irritably threw the phone onto the coffee table.
