Fang Qingyu’s figure was like a drop of ink rging into the darkness.
He quietly slipped back to the entrance of the cave they were guarding, pressing against the cold rock wall, his chest rising and falling slightly.
As soon as he appeared, Jiang Weiqing’s clear gaze imdiately locked onto him, carrying a silent inquiry.
Wei Banng tightly gripped her dual blades, her cold face showing a clear, almost anxious, query for the first ti.
Inside the cave, the faint blue glow from the seashell node illuminated her tense profile.
"How is it?" Wei Banng’s voice was extrely low, like ice scraping against rock, with a hint of tension she hadn’t noticed herself.
Fang Qingyu leaned against the cold, rough rock wall and exhaled a breath of sulfurous air.
He didn’t answer imdiately but reached into the inner pocket of his combat suit to pull out the last piece of compressed biscuit, chanically tearing open the package and stuffing it into his mouth, chewing forcefully.
Only after swallowing the last bite did Fang Qingyu lift his eyelids, his gaze sweeping over Jiang Wei and Wei Banng. His voice was low and calm, yet each word dropped like an ice cone:
"That earth elent divine chosen one who ca from the west, is from Creation."
In just one sentence, it was like a bomb was dropped in the deathly silent cave!
Wei Banng’s fingers gripping the blades suddenly tightened, her knuckles emitting a soft cracking sound. Her cold eyes instantly covered with an incredulous frost: "What?!"
She almost instinctively uttered a low cry.
This hypothesis was too shocking but perfectly explained all the irrationalities!
"He’s manipulating the terrain, repairing pathways, isolating investigations."
Fang Qingyu’s voice was devoid of any inflection, as if stating a cold fact, "Those modified martial artists were able to get in successfully and block each tunnel; only he could manage that, the Molting Level Life Ghost, and those four below us..." He paused, his gaze directed towards the cracks in the cave leading to hell, "are likely pawns trapped deeper by this earth elent ability user."
"The whole underground pit is actually a giant blood altar."
Jiang Wei hugged her knees slightly tighter, a heaviness in her clear eyes for the first ti that did not belong to a child: "That mass of flesh will produce a heartbeat, probably a new embryo." The little girl’s voice carried a trace of instinctive aversion.
"Embryo?" Wei Banng keenly caught this weird word.
"Mm," Jiang Wei’s small face tightened, her voice very light, "Creation Technology always wanted to use a powerful Life Ghost as an incubator for their so-called embryo... Now it seems, the monster we just encountered was just the first one; there’s a second one yet to hatch."
This deduction sent a chill up Wei Banng’s spine.
If that were true, Creation Technology’s sche was far more insane and terrifying than anyone could have imagined!
"The communication node cannot be held any longer." Fang Qingyu decisively concluded, his gaze sweeping across the faintly glowing "seashell," "With that mole, Pengshe can find this place at any ti. Sooner or later, this place will be emptied."
He looked at Wei Banng, his eyes sharp as lightning: "You need to get out."
Wei Banng imdiately understood his intention: "To take the ssage out?"
"Yes!" Fang Qingyu nodded, speaking rapidly, "The camp must already be in chaos, and there’s more than one mole. Only you, carrying firsthand witnessed and heard information, can make the higher-ups truly prioritize, completely eradicate the mole, and organize forces to respond! Otherwise, everyone will be consud by this underground pit bit by bit!" He paused, adding, "Also, take Qin Hui and the others, and withdraw from Songdu imdiately! This is no longer a place Breaking Mortality martial artists can stay."
"What about you?" Wei Banng’s gaze tightly locked onto Fang Qingyu, her cool eyes carrying scrutiny.
She knew too well the "madness" in this boy’s bones.
Fang Qingyu’s gaze turned towards the direction where Pengshe had disappeared into the depths of the cave, as if penetrating the thick rock layers, seeing the massive "heart" pulsing further in.
The corner of his mouth barely nudged upwards, the curve carrying an almost fanatical reckless abandon: "I have so thoughts about a ’little gadget’ on that snake. Besides, since Su Wanqing paid for it, I have to try and see if I can get soone out."
Red Python Scale!
The essence of ten thousand scales!
And the second reward promised by Su Wanqing!
The risk was high, but maybe worth a shot.
When going all out.
Fang Qingyu feared no Tier Two power.
Wei Banng deeply looked at Fang Qingyu, then at Jiang Wei sitting beside, her small face serene to the point of eerie.
The mysteries surrounding this duo and their calmness in facing the abyss gave her a sense of overwhelming powerlessness that surpassed her understanding for the first ti.
Wei Banng no longer attempted to persuade, rely nodded slowly and forcefully: "Fine. I’ll deliver the ssage. You two... survive."
Without extraneous farewell, Wei Banng’s figure flickered, rging into the darkness like purple lightning, instantly disappearing down the narrow rift they ca through, her movents clean and resolute, carrying determination.
Inside the cave, only Fang Qingyu and Jiang Wei remained, along with the faintly flickering "seashell" node, radiating a fragile light in the boundless silence and thick scent of blood.
"Leave?" Jiang Wei tilted her small face up, her clear eyes reflecting the faint blue light.
"Let’s go!" Fang Qingyu grabbed the silver suitcase filled with Qi Blood Crystals and Life Pearls, stuffing it into a large combat backpack.
He then knelt in front of Jiang Wei, extending his hand, "Hold tight."
Jiang Wei instinctively wrapped her little hands around his neck.
Fang Qingyu steadily lifted her up, the girl’s light body pressing against his blazing chest.
In the next mont, Fang Qingyu’s eyes sharpened, and the silver-blue star in his sea of consciousness suddenly burst into dazzling light!
