Kyle sent the Elemental further east while focusing on his own Spirit. His illusory body had been hitting the black anchor for about 2,000 years, and the anchor was beginning to warp and shake. It could break any minute.
'2,000 years to advance inside the Domain Realm. Sure enough, that's neither fast nor slow. No wonder nobody talked about how long advancing takes,' he thought as he watched his illusory body.
Kyle looked at his Spirit. 'It's just that my way of advancing has been different. The white anchor and the white chain are already broken. In a way, I'm susceptible to Spirit Attacks while not having access to the powers of my Spirit. Luckily, none of the Demons can attack Spirits.'
'I wonder how it feels to advance inside the Domain Realm. The last time it happened, I wasn't fully there.'
Time passed as Kyle watched his Spirit. The anchor shook more and more.
CRK!
Then, the first crack appeared in the chain.
CRK! CRK! CRK!
More cracks appeared, and when he saw that, Kyle ordered his illusory body to attack even faster.
BOOOM!
One of the fragments of the chain broke into pieces, severing the chain. His Spirit lurched forward after the chain was broken, lowering the distance between Kyle and his Spirit by almost half.
The two halves of the chain turned ethereal before turning into Energy. Surprisingly, the Energy didn't enter his Spirit. Instead, the Energy left his Spirit Space and appeared inside his body.
Kyle felt tremendous amounts of Energy washing over his mind, strengthening it considerably. Moments later, the Energy focused on his Core. It entered, and Kyle felt the density of his Core increasing by about 25%. The increase was about as strong as expected. After all, the Domain Realm didn't focus on the Core.
Lastly, the Energy entered his body, strengthening it by about 25% as well.
And that was it. All the Energy had been used up to strengthen his other Aspects. Contrary to expectations, none of the Energy had entered his Spirit, even though the Domain Realm was all about strengthening the Spirit.
Yet, even though his Spirit hadn't been strengthened, Kyle felt something else.
The Energy in his perception became much clearer. One of the aspects of a Spirit was the Soul, and the Soul dealt with sensing and manipulating Energies.
In concrete terms, this meant that Kyle's Energy Sense had doubled in range yet again. After advancing, his Energy Sense had reached a radius of eight million kilometers, which was crazy. When he had been a Legendary Sage, his Energy Sense had only had 25,000 kilometers of range.
He couldn't teleport as frequently as in the Wisdom Fire Realm. After all, back then, his mind had been the most powerful part of his existence. Teleporting 50 times in a second at maximum range hadn't been difficult. Sadly, his mind couldn't keep up with his Spirit anymore. Nowadays, he could only teleport 20 times per second.
Yet, 20 times eight million kilometers was 160 million kilometers. If Kyle were on the frontlines, he could reach another Fort within a bit more than six seconds!
One billion kilometers in a bit more than six seconds!
'Unlocking teleportation in the Wisdom Fire Realm has changed my speed tremendously, but the Domain Realm is just as crazy! If the range of my Energy Sense keeps doubling with every breakthrough, my speed will reach crazy levels!'
'Could I traverse the entire Supreme World?'
Kyle did some math, and moments later, he took a deep breath.
'Nah, forget it! That shit is just way too big! I've heard the Supreme World is around ten octillion kilometers wide. Assuming I could travel one billion kilometers per second, I would still need ten quintillion seconds! That's over 300 billion years!'
'After three billion years, I would have barely reached 1% of the Supreme World's width! Even more, the Supreme World is still growing. It's probably growing faster than I would travel!'
Kyle sighed. 'Seems like Teleportation Formation Arrays are still important. Although I wonder how fast Ascendants and Immortals are. Immortals are probably insanely fast.'
'But that's not relevant for now. It's more interesting that my Spirit became stronger without absorbing any Energy. All of the previous Realms used Energy to strengthen one or more of my Aspects, but that didn't happen during this breakthrough.'
Kyle looked at his Spirit. 'I guess my Spirit is already filled with an insane amount of Energy. In the Domain Realm, I'm not strengthening my Spirit. It's more like unlocking its true power. With every advancement, my Spirit es closer to the real world. The closer it gets, the easier it is to access.'
'No wonder the members of the Cult need to sacrifice their Spirits to Death to achieve any kind of effect. My Spirit's Energy density is probably off the charts.'
Next, Kyle looked at the last anchor, the grey one. The white one had been destroyed when he had fused with his Elemental, and he had destroyed the black one just now. While the other two anchors had been connected to the chains, the grey one was connected to his Spirit directly.
'Breaking the black anchor requires all four Major Laws of the Aspects. Breaking the white one requires an Imposing Law. Breaking the white chain requires an Imposing Law with 50% quality. Usually, this is the requirement to bee a Fulfilled Spirit Lord.'
'Breaking the grey anchor only needs an Infused Mind Law. Shouldn't be a problem.'
Kyle reactivated his Infused Mind Law before creating another illusory body, which quickly attacked the chains.
'No idea how long this will take, but it probably won't be a long time. Honestly, the Domain Realm feels so nice and fortable after going through the Wisdom Fire Realm. The Wisdom Fire Realm was just pure ass, while the Domain Realm doesn't even need a lot of attention. Advancing is basically just a passive background activity.'
'It's almost like the God of this Cosmos is trying to apologize for making the Wisdom Fire Realm such a huge cock.'
'Anyway, I've advanced. I'm a Major Spirit Lord now. Now that I think about it, I've advanced really quickly. As a Major Spirit Lord, I could probably even kill most manders in the Forts. I could probably even kill Late or Peak Spirit Lord Demons.'
'Even more, I'm not done advancing yet. Being a Unique Spirit Lord only takes time. At that point, if I also gain access to a couple more plex Laws, I might already be the strongest human in Ayuvar.'
'Speaking of advancing, I'm fucking glad that my advancements don't draw a shitton of Energy from the surroundings. Keeping such a motion secret would be difficult. Advancing until I'm a Unique Spirit Lord shouldn't be a problem.'
Kyle furrowed his brows. 'I'm just not sure about afterward. Being an Ascendant probably creates a huge motion, and I don't think I can hide that. I might need to get back to Humanity's territories when I bee an Ascendant, but at the same time, I will also be exposed.'
'Do I actually have to prehend all Level Seven Laws as a Spirit Lord? I mean, I won't have access to good Law Wells anymore.'
Kyle shook his head. 'All of this is too far into the future. For now, I should make my Elemental advance a Realm as well, and then...'
'It's time to prepare for the Level Five Laws.'
