"How did you learn these Enchantnts so quickly?" Selene asked in surprise.
She had tried to comprehend these Enchantnts for a while, but they were genuinely not easy to understand.
"Theodor taught them to , and I simply did what he said," Kyle said.
Selene just nodded without answering.
In her mind, it now made sense how Kyle could comprehend the Enchantnts so quickly.
Theodor was probably an amazing teacher.
Sotis, Selene wished that she could also have such a helpful and experienced teacher in her mind.
What she didn't know was that Theodor only told Kyle the bare minimum. He essentially just told Kyle what he had to do and how it worked.
He didn't give him any hints or special ways to make it easier.
If he actually wanted to, Kyle could be quite intelligent, but that wasn't everything one needed to find quick success in Spellcasting.
There were plenty of smart people out there who were just as smart or even smarter than Kyle.
Yet, most of these people wouldn't comprehend the Enchantnts as quickly as Kyle.
The reason for that was only one word.
Discipline.
Forcing oneself to do sothing one didn't want to do.
Spellcasting was insanely boring to Kyle, but he still dedicated his entire mind to learning it and barely took any breaks.
On Earth, Kyle hadn't been this disciplined.
Even for the first year in this world, he hadn't been very disciplined.
Yet, as Theodor kept pushing and pushing Kyle, eventually, he got used to it.
Discipline could be learned.
There was a reason why joining any military force on Earth required one to go through a boot camp.
In these boot camps, discipline was drilled into everyone's mind.
Discipline didn't an being serious all the ti or forcing others to follow stupid rules.
It was just about being able to force oneself to do things that were necessary but very boring or annoying.
"By the way, how are we going to scout for Elentals without your funny worm?" Kyle asked.
"We have to do it the old-fashioned way," Selene said. "You have to use your Ore Sense, and if you happen to sense an Earth Elental, we have to fight it or flee."
"If you sense a tal Elental, we have to imdiately flee. Luckily, the walls are not made of tal, which ans the tal Elental can't force us to stay here by changing the walls."
Kyle shrugged. "Alright. I guess, we have to roll so dice."
Selene just nodded.
The two of them continued following the tunnel.
While they were walking forward, Kyle kept touching the wall with one of his hands to sense the ore.
The more powerful Kyle beca, the better his Ore Sense beca. After all, his Soul was improving continually.
By now, he could sense ore from a distance of almost 80 ters.
That was about the range where Earth Elentals could also sense other beings.
As Kyle used his Ore Sense, he saw a bunch of ore in the walls.
'I've never seen that much ore in one place,' Kyle thought as he saw several veins of Rank D and Rank C materials. 'If we could mine here, we would be earning so much fucking money.'
'But, oh well, it's also pretty dangerous. I guess there's a reason why there are not many mines here.'
After about two kiloters, Kyle stopped.
"Whelp, I knew this would happen," Kyle said with annoyance.
"What?" Selene asked.
But then, the cave started to shake, and the tunnel behind them closed like it was a clenching butthole.
Selene now knew what Kyle ant.
Kyle took out his hamr calmly.
"How powerful?" Selene asked with urgency, readying her bow.
"As always," Kyle said.
"Peak Second Realm?" she asked.
"Yep," Kyle said.
The next mont, several spears shot out of the walls and ground.
There was no possible way to dodge since they ca out of literally everywhere.
Kyle and Selene activated their Souls, and any spear that entered their domains stopped growing.
Attacking soone with an improved Soul by manipulating the surroundings almost never worked.
Selene closed her eyes and focused on her Ether Sense.
While she didn't have Ore Sense since she didn't have a tal Affinity, she had sothing similar.
Earth Sense.
When it ca to searching for ore, Ore Sense and Earth Sense achieved the sa thing but in opposite ways.
When Kyle used Ore Sense, he saw an empty space with a couple of shining locations.
When Selene used Earth Sense, she saw a filled space with a couple of empty locations.
So, when the Earth Elental approached, both of them could sense it.
Selene readied herself and narrowed her eyes.
They had grown stronger since they had killed their first Earth Elental, but back then, they had only survived because of Skyler.
This ti, they didn't have Skyler with them.
This would not be an easy fight.
Both of them sensed the Earth Elental approaching.
The Earth Elental had noticed that it couldn't use its usual abilities to kill these two humans, which was why it was coming closer to directly possess the ground.
Kyle spun his hamr once in his hand, chaotic Elental Ether covering it.
It was like the spinning hamr was blindly infused with random Elental Ether, but that wasn't true.
In fact, there was logic behind the chaos.
It was order that was so detailed that it looked like chaos.
The Earth Elental approached as Kyle calmly glanced at one of the walls.
Selene readied her most powerful technique.
The Earth Elental appeared, and the entire wall suddenly shot towards Kyle.
The Earth Elental wanted to crush Kyle without giving him a chance to escape.
'Dumbass,' Kyle thought as he grabbed his hamr tightly.
Suddenly, Kyle's hamr shot forward with incredible speed.
He used four different techniques to increase its speed.
He used three techniques to increase its weight.
He used five techniques to increase its penetrative power.
Kyle's mind was using Ti Slow just to keep up with the calculations.
Without Ti Slow, he wouldn't be able to think fast enough to use all of these techniques simultaneously.
Selene couldn't even see the hamr.
One mont, it looked like Kyle was simply carrying it in his hand.
Then, the next mont, a storm of fire and wind suddenly washed over the entire tunnel.
The wall exploded.
The debris turned into liquid due to the imnse heat and was scattered everywhere.
Selene almost couldn't believe what she was seeing.
The Earth Elental!
It was dead!
